ref|: LOV3253881U We booked a much anticipated holiday after Covid in 2022 through loveholidays and spent over £5,000. I was unable to check in as Ryanair did not recognise my email address for check-in even though it was the same email address used to book the holiday with loveholidays. I called loveholidays customer service for assistance and got no response after waiting for 1 and a half hours and there was no response to the online bot. I had received no information that would have enabled me to check-in and so had to pay check-in costs at the airport. After many attempts, loveholidays refused to reimburse me as they said that they had sent an email about online check-in to me. This had never been received and I had to take loveholidays to county court in Warwick where the judge found that loveholidays had breached their contract and loveholidays were instructed to reimburse my check-in costs. Loveholidays bullied and intimidated me during the legal process and implied that I'd have to pay hefty court costs if I lost which was not the case as it was a small claims court. I foundthe whole court process incredibly stressful and time-consuming but I needed to do it for other people who might not be able to stand up to companies like loveholidays who treat their customers like this. I wouldn't travel with loveholidays again even if I was given a free holiday.

Won’t refund a cancelled booking (cancelled due to error on their part) says it’s already been refunded but no money has landed or is forthcoming.

Terrible experience.. I booked through loveholidays a trip in Merrakech in a 5 Star hotel.. They transported me to a different town called Amizmiz.. I been crying.. Asking for help.. Stressing and contacting them since then, they don't care.. Close chat.. Refuse to take any responsibility.. I made video.. Took pictures.. Clear evidence but they simply reply that sorry for your bad experience but as a policy your payment is non refundable.. They don't care at all.. No back up.. No customer service.. Its a scam.. They are not member of ABTA as so many people complained about them.. Its a fraud.

Had booked a few holidays with company and all was good but the last holiday was very very poor, contacted the company to make a complaint but found out they left ABTA so they don't have to pay people compinsation or any type of refund of any kind, so people your warned, if you don't book using a credit card your not insured with loveholidays when things go wrong like them miss selling you a type of holiday or if your hotel is so poor etc, your simply not insured and they will not help you at all !.

I booked a rather expensive 9 night trip to Dubai at the start of this year for my husbands very special 50th birthday. (It was a complete surprise for him) I have used Love Holidays many times over the years, and one advantage I have found whilst using them, is the ability they have to deduct remaining balances from your account, over the course and on the run up to your holiday. Given this had been booked for almost 9 months, imagine my surprise when yesterday, (a mere 7 days prior to our departure date), I jump online to look at my check in details to find that my holiday has been CANCELLED!!!!! In a sheer state of panic and at approximately 10pm at night, I frantically searched online for a customer service/support number, to discuss my booking with someone. After managing to speak to the sales team, i was told that they didnt have access to existing bookings, and i would have to call back in the morning! After coming off the call still frantic, I searched in my email folder for some sign of communication, to find that their correspondence had been filtering into my spam folder. I had received a couple of emails stating that for some reason the final balance had not gone through, (despite plenty of cash available), and that someone would be in touch. The last communication received was that same morning at 8am, advising that someone would call me. At 9am the following morning when i finally spoke to customer services, they advised me that everything had been cancelled on the 8th, and that my money was lost. They told me that someone had attempted to call me twice on the 13th, which was lies, (I checked my call log), and couldn't give me an answer as to why no email had gone out, advising of the intention to cancel my holiday, nor had any letter gone out to my home address, in a further attempt to reach out. They also couldn't clarify why an email had been received that morning, advising me that someone would call me, when they had cancelled our holiday the same day. Absolutely disgusting way to conduct business, and I certainly will NOT be using this company for future bookings ever again! We will shortly be seeking legal advice on this matter, and will take our story to the papers. We rebooked our holiday by purchasing flights direct with skyscanner, and the same hotel with booking.com. I did look at Love Holidays' site again, and they were readvertising the holiday they had cancelled. Lucky for them they make double the profit! We went into Hays Travel today for currency, and informed them of the situation we had been put in, and they couldnt believe how we had been treated! They said they would have written to us first, and that cancelling would have been a last resort. Love Holidays aren't even regulated by ABTA anymore which is a regulatory body over travel agencies!! This tells you everything!!! Honestly guys just pay a little bit extra, go into a travel agent who will treat you fairly, and look after you! We're over £1,000 down now. Love Holidays I hope your proud of yourselves, I hope the extra 1k profit was worth it!

Stay away at all costs. They are bunch of scammer selling you packages different then they advertising. We have to cancel our holidays and leave the hotel because enormous amount of noise there is in this animal place... That was advertised as family friendly... Contacted with this disgusting agency and all they said that they can't do nothing about it because we paid already. Such a joke. Need to sue them!!

We booked a holiday through love holidays flights insurance hotel and transfers paid deposit and a payment total paid so far £688 Total cost is £1600 we had to cancel only to be told we have to sort the flights out ourselves so rang flights up only to be told they want another £368 each =£736 on top of the £1600 disgusting as my husband is ill and he did not want to do a long flight to Eygpt we wanted to change to Alicante instead. We have asked love holidays to cancel the holiday due to ill health they said we need to pay a cancellation fee of £588 We will be getting a medical certificate to prove he can not travel but love holidays said he does not meet the criteria that's required for the insurance they sold us. We are very disappointed we want people to know love holidays are a very bad company please do not book with the. You will end up with problems and have to sort yourself at a large expense.

Horrible experience. Loveholidays falsely advertised the holiday I booked, which led to an argument in the hotel resulting in our stay being cut short due to being made feel uncomfortable. Loveholidays refuse to accept any responsibility and keep closing the issue without any resolution. Would never recommend or use Loveholidays again!

Dear lovejolidays I had booked to travel to Barcelona on 19th September . Spent an hour the day before trying to check in get check in code and you put code in and it had timed out. Then i had to pay a hefty log in fee at Ryanair check in desk. Money i needed. When we got to the airport in Barcelona late at night 12.30 am nobody to meet us even though site said there would be . We had to wait 1hr 20 mins outside for our shuttle bus to arrive. Why do you say someone will be there to meet you the far side. After all the business with airport check in then that as well.. We reached our hotel at 1 45am and the man on reception didn't know we were to stay as had no confirmation. Love holidays did not let them knowwe were arriving. I wouldn't recommend this company to travel with . No number to contact . Email says no reply . They tell you to download app to go manage my bookings. But no place to speak to anybody. Thank you Sharon Duffy

Possibly the worse company I have ever felt with they made a mistake on my booking so tried to call them which cannot be fine until 28 days before you fly so had to resort our flights for the correct dates they only offered me a £26 refund on flight that cost me nearly £700 shocking and will never use again

Left two women out in the streets of Spain after saying we had a hotel that turned out not to be a hotel at all. It’s a fraud place that charges you tax every day a deposit that they never told us about. We booked breakfast and they told us no sorry you have to pay more even though it states breakfast and we never got it. Wants us to pay to was our towels or change bedding disgusting!

They take your money then when you chase them about over a flight delay they don’t want to know. That coupled with their extensive use of the worst airline ever Ryanair leaves you in no man’s land. To be fair they are selling on price so you get what you pay for cheap holiday and cheap service and cheap customer care. Stay away from them.

They mis sold a holiday (package holidays with hotels and flights to look appealling but then have £500 transfers that take almost 3hrs .. £500 and 3hrs!... disgusting!) and refuse to engage in any sort of helpful dialogue. It was approx. 30hrs since i booked with a large deposit and they wouldnt give me any refund and instead wanted to charge me an extra £70 to cancel!! Disgusting!!! Their soul purpose is obvioudly to exploit people for profit, there is zero level of customer service from these cretins. You can't speak to anyone on the phone unless you are 4 weeks away from departure and they are basically horrific to deal with. I would advise EVERYONE to keep away from this company DO NOT USE this company for your holiday, give someone else your money. Look elsewhere for your deals, seriously. You are putting yourself in danger of losing your money. Look at the other comments. They have history of this. Horrific. Keep well away.

Have double booked and straight away tried to cancel one of the holidays. Love holidays said I would be charged £11,000. I have spent hours on chat lines to no avail. Passed from pillar to post. They say ring British Airways and they say talk to Love holidays. A complete joke. Pathetic service. Don't book.

We booked my times with love holidays and never had a problem in actual fact I defended the company when anyone gave out about them but recently we booked a week ago for end Oct and due to family ill heath circumstance we had to cancel a few days after first payment € 1,000 went out so we cut our losses and cancelled they proceeded to penalise us another €500 for cancelling no offer of a voucher for next holiday nothing only a money grabbing shower that need to have respect for hard working people that needed to put ther holiday on hold due to health circumstances by the time I'm finished telling the country what love holidays truly are nobody will book with them... absolute dirt company
