First, the order delivery was delayed 2 times. Then, went past the last delivery update. Tried calling, was placed on hold a really long time. Decided to just cancel the order online. This was a mistake as I found out too late! Lowe's online system didn't provide a button to cancel the entire order, multiple items for a remodel I am doing. So, big mistake, I cancelled each item line by line. The BIG problem is that Lowe's sytem then proceded to rack up multiple pending charges on my credit card. After each cancellation, it reauthorized another pending charge for the remaining balance. This resulted in my credit card being tied up for 10 times the amount of the original purchase, over $10,000 at one point. I tried calling my bank and was told, understandably, that they can not remove pending charges but the merchant could do that if they chose. So, I called Lowe's customer service again, during my discussion with the person she quickly told me that pending charges would drop off automatically after 5 days. At this point, it had already be 6 days since my order and now my card was useless due to their not so customer friendly online system. I tried to tell her that my bank had told me it was possible for Lowe's to remove these charges right away but the line went dead, just like she simply hung up on me. The fact that there was no effort to reconnect makes me believe this was the case. I wrote an email, not so kind, but no bad language, to the Lowe's customer service but didn't receive a response concerning this issue at all. Sure enough, the charges finally dropped off after 5 more days but I had to contact another supplier and give them a different card to use before that because my credit on my most used card was completely tied up by a cancelled Lowe's order that ended up tying my credit up for about 12 days! I just hope someone will at least look into the way this works because this seems like it should be illegal, at least not ethical, to do this for a cancelled order! I can see the original amount but even that should have dropped off sooner than it did, but to make all the numerous pending charges that occurred on my account just seems very wrong to me. I am just a single customer but if this is happening on a regular basis it seems to me it wouldn't be the best image Lowe's can project.

Will not stand by the product you purchase from them. Box has 100% satisfaction and 3 year warranty but thats not honored by Lowe's even though they are the ones that sell it. They tell you to contact the manufacture about your problem. They basically don't care about the customer seems as though your just bothering them.

No response from the Lowe's CEO on exchanging a defective Maytag washer purchased from Lowe's Seneca South Carolina store. The washer was defective from day 1 of the purchase on 10/16/2022. Washer heats up with a LOUD noise on spine cycle. Moves around by itself in our laundry room! Very bad. Need help on a new Maytag washer exchange that works!!!!

Installation department. When called because was very upset with the installers they sent. All 4 people I talked to were very nice and understanding. Then finally a guy was sent out to our house to find out what problem was. Again nice and understanding. He asked and again I repeated what I told Four other people, he took a lot of pictures. But in the end no one cared. Received an email weeks after the guy left our house with his answers and pictures, asking me to send pictures and send a detailed list of what was wrong. To send pictures and write what problem was not happening I told 5 people including manager at Lowe's, who really did not care. I was not going to explain it all again and take more pictures,which the guy who came out took a lot of. Then at the end of the email we were sent it said do not respond to this email, it will go no where. Completely useless. They won because I had enough I have given up. I will never use or recommend Lowe's for any installs ever again.

I had my blinds installed at my new home in 1st week of June 2022 (7 customized and 8 instock) all the customized ones do not land on the base and the one above the bathtub is see through from outside. when i complained the same to LOWE it went on for 5 tickets and 6 months and the final thing is that it is customer preference as that is the defect with Bali blinds. why would a customer want a see through blind on bathtub rediculous. Pathetic experience. no one even bothers to provide an explanations, i'm the one whoc has to regularly follow up with LOWES. it has been going on for 6months and have no patience now. Purchased thousands of dollars of merchandise and tried to return 300.00 of goods I did not use. Would only give a store credit because receipt was in another vehicle out of state and would not give me my money back. Horrible return policies Do not purchase anything unless you plan on using it or you get stuck with it Anyone want to purchase a store credit? Home Depot earned my business after this experience People working for them were very congenial but the store policy is robbery

Ordered an outdoor Christmas decoration on Monday, November 28th, and was told I would receive it two days later which would be on Wednesday, November 30th. So I figured it would be delivered directly from this store. On Friday, December 2nd, when I hadn't received it, I called the store and was informed it was being shipped out of New York and that it hadn't been shipped yet and would be delayed. If I had known it would be shipped from New York I would never had ordered from Lowes. Very disappointed in them. I can't complete my outside decorations without this set of candy canes. When will I get them? Who knows?

I purchased a Whirlpool washing machine from Lowe's in Houston on Loop 610 W. Purchase date 10/9/2022 and delivery 10/13/2022. Within two weeks the machine sprung an oil leak. Lowe's would not replace and instead referred me to Whirlpool Warranty. It took two weeks for the repair service to come out. I was informed part would need to be ordered and repair would be made in two weeks. Dec. 1 I was informed repair will be made Dec. 14, six weeks after machine broke. Now I am afraid this may be a lemon. Laundromat expenses are $25.00 a week. I bought a faulty product and have not had timely service. I will no longer shop at Lowe's or buy another Whirlpool product.

I purchased a range yesterday at Lowes Keizer, the person checked and verified that there was one in stock so I purchased it for pickup today, she even filled out the tag for it to be on hold for pickup. I showed up this morning with my truck and the appliance person in appliances said they didn't have one, I rebutted stating the person was placing the sticker on it but he couldn't find it and made the comment she ordered it and should be in Monday. That's not what she told us because I watched her make out the hold sticker with a bold sharpy. I highly suspect that someone at Lowes sold it out from under me and ordered another putting me on hold. This is BS to be told they have one and they don't, plus I heard they did away with the veteran discounts, I guess I'll be shopping at Home Depot from now on.

Went to the Lowes on 1500 North Croatan Highway in Kill Devil Hills NC. I have been going there for years. I had a piece of lumber to be cut. I could not find anyone to assist. I went up to the managers counter. The manager said he would not cut this. He handed me a hand saw and said I could do it. I left and went to Home Depot and had them take care of it.

I had an in store credit and wanted to purchase an item online that they did not offer in the store. I could not purchase the item using the in store credited. The store and customer service over the phone would not accept my payment with in store credit. They said it was a policy, that I can't use in store credit for an online purchase. I'm taking my business elsewhere, over $55, where I already spent my money.

I bought a new dishwasher from Lowe's. A complete mistake, I was told they don't uninstall the dishwasher to be taken away. So, I had to hire someone to do that, when Lowe's delivered the new dishwasher the next day, the delivery guys put it in my kitchen, but would not even unbox it never mind install it. I was NEVER told that the dishwasher would NOT be unbox or installed. I have bought many appliances in the past and the appliance was always unboxed and installed. DO NOT USE LOWE'S FOR APPLIANCES unless you have somebody handy around the house that can do this type of work.

Purchased “style” Chinese house brand patio heater, got one year probably 6uses before it wouldn’t work. Lowes won’t take back after 90days! Bought new upgraded version opened box and it’s dented, scratched and can’t be assembled. Another piece of garbage from Lowes Chinese house brands Style, Roth and project source to name a few! DONE WITH LOWES JUST ANOTHER CHINESE DIDTRIBUTION OUTLET!! There’s better out there even if it costs a little more!!!

My husband put in an order for me to pick up at the Lowe's on Broad St. in Brooksville. The website showed that they had more than enough to fill the order, but it didn't. So, I had to another store. I went to the one on Commercial Way. Rebecca at customer service was the best customer service employee I've ever had! Kind, efficient and quick. She sent me back to flooring to pick up my order. I found Andrew in flooring and met another great employee! It was such a pleasure to have an employee not running and hiding from work! He loaded up my cart but was one piece short. I was expecting that he would just credit me back for that one piece, but to my surprise he hunted another one down! Then I went outside and that's where I ran into Mason who was walking by. I asked him for help, and he graciously stopped what he was doing and loaded up my van. These people were the best employees I've ever come across around my area and I can't tell you how grateful I was for all three of them. Thank you for hiring such great people! I have a lot more work to do around my home and I'm looking forward to shopping there again! I was going to give you a 4-star rating because of the other store on Broad Street, but I just couldn't because of the excellent care I had at Commerical Way.

You have no check out lane open their making everyone self check out I just left all the stuff in buggy and left and went to Home Depot where they had a cashier checking you out. I had wire that was cut with a number on. It didn’t know how to check out and I will always try to go to someone that has a check out available I think every store need at less one check out open for us old people can’t see can’t hear I had some worker to load my buggy.

Had a person do estimate for door installation. Once I was ready for installation I called and went to Harrisburg location to arrange installation only to get the run around. I called 50 times the least and then went to location twice to make appointment since over the phone was not successful. Each time I was told they would call me or the person I spoke to was unable to perform task. I recommend a different location.

Never go to them for ANY install services. Usually I go to Home Depot but lowes sells pella windows and doors. Placed my order in April and was told 4-5 months until install and it would take 2-3 days to install. Well now lowes says they want to install at the end of December during Christmas time. 9 months later. In the winter. And I was told the job would take14 days now to install. The delay is because the store didn’t order trim back on august 8th. When I requested it from the salesman and the store. I asked 5 times if the trim had been ordered I was told not to worry about it. Lowes decided to wait and ordered the trim October 29th. Guess what, it wasn’t ordered correctly and we waiting for two weeks to be told it’s backordered for another month. We asked lowes to fully refund the order for all the mistakes/lies they made. And they said they would charge us 20% restock fee. We didn’t want to pay this unfair fee so we asked if they could at least give us 10% off the order. After the manager talked with the store and district manager lowes told us no. They would rather refund 80% of the order than give us a 10% discount for all the mistakes/lies they made and admitted to. At the end we still don’t have a date for our $60,000 window job. They did offer a refund of $1,000 for all the issues. But they won’t give us that small refund until the job is completed. They have lied to us so much at this point I doubt they will. —————————update—————— I called the number lowes responded with below. After 1hr of waiting I was told customer service can’t do anything. No waiving the 20% restock fee. No 10% discount for the lowes mistakes/lies they admit too. NO HELP. Just a waste of a hr of time. Just trash service. They obvious just responded to my review to try to look like they are trying to do something. Don’t be fooled. ——— so after speaking with the install service corporate manager ( the top person. They refused to transfer me to a high up manager and had a major attitude), the store manager, the district manager, and several assistant managers, no resolution was found. And we are still waiting for an install date. The store doesn’t even have an installer on my order anymore. Because the original installer doesn’t install past November because of the cold. NEVER HIRE LOWES for anything. There installers don’t work past November but they expect me to get installed in winter. I repeat NEVER HIRE lowes
