Competitive price, excellent service, very good communication. Item as ordered/expected. Parcel Force delivery blip, but that is no fault of Machine Mart. Would order from them again.

Absolute worst customer service. We bought a ladder, it arrived and was different from what was shown on the website. Their reply was: we reserve the right to change product specifications What a joke, so we can return it but we have to pay £50. You buy an item and you get sent another and then have to pay to return the wrong item they sent. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

Possible the worst company we have ever brought from, the manager at Machine Mart in Bilston (Jack) came across rude and ignorant. Tried telling me the company is a multi million pound business. My dad brought a Clarke Itelligent battery charger on the 04/03/21 we took it back on 06/03/21. I'm sure you can return faulty or non faulty items within 14 days I read him the law and his rights and the companies rights and also the costumers rights. They have tried to meet me with bad attitude and told me I cant get a refund unless we send it off

You appear to get a minimum 1 star by default because there is no other way of posting a review?? Well, let's see if you post this review then?? Because you don't appear to have posted the lengthy review I left you about 3 weeks ago, and nobody has approached me about the problems I experienced then, so, why even bother with a review system?? If the baseline attitude is "we don't care" then I am probably wasting my time?? I'm not going to attempt repeating my last 'address', but, to add insult to injury, I just got this month's broadband statement, which never differs because I receive anytime calls. This month there is an additional £5,95 due to the calls I made to Machine Mart 'customer care' attempting to find out why my order was so late!! You really do 'take the biscuit'. I shan't be holding my breath...

Wish i could give no stars.Ordered an item on click and collect,received no call to say item in store so popped in,was told they had called but my phone did not go to answerphone,LIE! Asked chap in store why he had not tried again,he shrugged his shoulders and said he only tries again if he remembers.Contacted customer service via e-mail,no reply so they obviously don't care.

Took my pressure washer in for repair in November 2020 it has been sent out as fixed 3 times only for it to breakdown again after 5 mins each time. Now near end of January 2021 still no machine. Avoid at all costs this company doesn’t care their attitude is disgraceful. I will never use them again and one star was been generous.

I ordered a product and paid £8 for next day delivery. The delivery driver pulled up outside 2 days later and immediately drove away, he made no attempt to deliver the item. I recieved a message through tracking advice stating 'problem with address'. Customer services were ok when I spoke to them but have to wait another 3 days for delivery.

I am a 66 year old oap and former paramedic. I have volunteered to help the ambulance service all over the country by getting better PPE. I have to wear safety boots as the nature of my job. I brought a pair of £30.00 torque boulevard boots size 9. From machine mart. After 3 days a hole appeared in the boot letting in water, due the stitching failing. I took them back and was shown a fresh pair, but all of the size 9s batch were the same apart from one pair which I was given from a different batch. They seemed fine but again after a few day the same thing happened where the stitching failed in the same place. And a hole appeared. I rang the store and was told that they would not change or refund them. As it was a second pair they had give me in a few days. I was told to go to arco as they were better boots. I rang customer service and they said the boots were not waterproof. I said I didn't want a pair of boots because they were waterproof it's the stitching has gone again. You can put your finger though the hole. If I wanted this facility I would have purchased a pair of safety sandals. I was willing to purchase a second pair of boots more expensive but they refused. Its seems the whole system with machine mart is not to issue refund on faulty goods in the 30 day window. Judging by all the other reviews this seems to be the case. Maybe I should have took their advice. And gone to arco. I will never buy anything again from machine mart. The way I have been treated is disgusting and I will be going to trading standards.I am sure they will have a field day sorting this out. Shame on you Machine mart. Philip

Purchased and ebac dehumidifier in Oct 2020. Within a few weeks it stopped working, no power, no lights, nothing. Arranged return. FedEx failed to turn up until the third date arranged. Heard nothing so called several times. Unit came back January in damp box, the unit having a scuff mark on the case. Worked for two hours then stopped. Three more phone calls and FedEx due to collect. Guess what, they haven’t turned up again. 8 phone calls to date. Ebac quality is woeful. Machine Mart’s response polite but wholly ineffective. I can feel a small claims case coming up!

ordered a space heater to dry out a customers new extension i was given a delivery date date passed so rang to chase i was informed that it was out of stock i asked why no one had contacted me to let me know the agent who was completely dissintrested said it was a mix up whith the warehouse my customer has been waiting for a week now i look like an idiot and i now have to wait a week for my refund so he says the havent heard the last of me i will never use this company again and neither should you as thee owner of a construction company i will also be informing everyone i come contact with of the same

I recieved a badly damaged/ with parts missing compressor from this outfit.. Twt are the couriers . I tried in vane to get support from Clarke international Left messages..calls promised etc Nothing I will be seeking a refund

Machine Mart Maidstone, two weeks ago 23rd december 2020 I purchased a clarke compressor which when switched on had a pump fault, I took it back to-day 4th jan 2021 for an exchange under warranty but because the air tank had the paint scratched where I put straps across it to secure it in my trailer they refused to exchange it for another saying it was damaged? obviously buyer beware of poor trading support from this company.

With I read the reviews first. Ordered tool box before Xmas and told delivery by 30th Emailed on 4th Jan but no reply and then on 6th asked to submit review!!!! Bit difficult as not got it and judging by other reviews we will all have Covid vaccine

Don’t know where they All the signs of a mis managed Or unmanaged company. I’ve had much much better service from. Screwfix. Tool station. Amazon. Etc. Plus I’ve mentioned I’m a first time customer.....,, just don’t use this bunch of bandits. .

Got refused service for not wearing a mask, even with exempt badge on. So I purchased the same item in halfords with no rudeness like your shop! Total discrimination! You lost a customer!

At the Swindon shop, I was refused service, even with exemption badge for not wearing a mask. He was very insulting and rude towards me! But I happily purchased the same thing in Halfords with a better friendly service. Not rude or insulting like you! You are discriminating me! I won't bother going near your shops again! Please look up the gov website about exemption! Sort it out!

I ordered a product from Machine Mart. Waited and it did not arrive. Chased it and they said it was delayed and would arrive in 2 more weeks. I patiently waited that whole time with no communication from them. Then when it didn't show up a second time, I chased them yet again. They then told me it was out of stock and it won't be here for another month. The ecommerce experience is shocking beyond belief. I place about 300 orders a year with Amazon and they have never ever cocked up even close to this. I won't ever order on machine mart again, suggest you check if Amazon or a decent e-commerce business has your product before you order either. Also I notice on this site they have a 1.8 star rating whereas on Trustpilot they have 4.4 apparently. Seems they have a way of boosting the good feedback on that site somehow, if it was all completely voluntary, the 2 different platforms wouldn't show such a massive average star difference.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! AFTER READING MANY REVIEWS OF THIS COMPANY THE MD MR JOHN CLARKE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF HIMSELF FOR ALLOWING HIS BUSINESS AND STAFF TO CARRY ON LIKE THIS. MY COMPANY BOUGHT A COMPRESSOR FROM MACHINEMART LAST WEEK AND ONCE IT WAS FITTED IT WAS DISCOVERED IT WAS FAULTY. THE ONLY WAY MACHINEMART WOULD LOOK AT IT IS IF WE RETURNED IT TO THEM FOR THEM TO LOOK AND DECIDE IF ITS FAULTY. THIS WOULD MEAN MY COMPANY BEING WITHOUT A COMPRESSOR BY THE SOUNDS OF IT MANY WEEKS FROM LOOKING AT OTHER REVIEWS, AND NOT BEING ABLE TO TRADE AS WE ARE A VEHICLE REPAIR GARAGE. EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE HAD A CLARKES COMPRESSOR FOR MANY YEARS I DO QUESTION THE BUILD QUALITY OF THE NEW ONES NONE OF THE TECHNICIAL STAFF SEEM TO HAVE ANY KNOWLEDGE AT ALL. IT COST NEARLY£1400 AND NOT ONE MEMBER OF STAFF HAS CALLED TO SEE IF OUR PROBLEM HAS BEEN RECTIFIED. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY APPALLING, I THINK THE WORST I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. I'M AFRAID IT MUST COME FROM THE TOP. TO TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS THE WAY THIS COMPANY DOES IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. I HAVE CONTACTED BBC WATCHDOG MAYBE MORE PEOPLE NEED TO AND TRY AND STOP THIS BEHAVIOUR, I THINK MR JOHN CLARKE NEEDS TO BE ACCOUNTABLE.

1 star is too genoriuos for this company. I bought a compressor which broke down within the years warranty period. Sent away for repair on the 19.10.20, we are now on 2.12.20 and still my compressor has not been returned. Around 3 weeks ago I was advised that my compressor had been lost and a new one would be immediately sent out, still no machine and just keep getting fobbed off! Spoken to 3 or 4 different customour support advisors who all have the same arrogant attitude and no apology for this ridiculous situation. I am not upto almost £1000 in hire of a machine whilst waiting for a replacement and this is increasing by the day. Over 6 weeks and counting for a broken product to be repaired during a warranty period simple isn't good enough
