“I remember the first time Colin called me out on my s***. Everything he said was true and I needed to hear it. I knew then I wasn't going to get anything past this guy. After that, I was able to move forward. He was able to show me a lot of what was holding me back, was inside of me. I was tracking, I was exercising, I was prepping, and the scale wasn't moving. But he understood my scale phobia. He understood my self sabotaging. He understood my ADHD brain. When the number on the scale just wouldn't move and I wanted to quit but he didn't let me. “I wasn’t new to counting macros, but really needed help dialing in on what my deficit, maintenance, and bulking macros were. I had lived in a deficit for so long, sneaking extra bites here and there, that I really was consuming maintenance macro counts but had no clue what they were! I also was making a major overhaul to my workout routine from a HIIT cardio-based program to exclusively weight training coupled with at least 10K steps daily. Trying to navigate how to do this, along with figuring out what my maintenance macro counts were, was tricky and I needed help.
Coach Brittany was fabulous in her approach. I had previous macro coaches in the past (not associated with Macros Inc) who were either way too strict in making sure I hit every macro exactly to the single digit, or were too relaxed and didn’t hold me accountable at all. I appreciate the way Brittany was realistic in setting goals and focused on what was most important, second most important, third, etc. As someone with a medical background, I also wanted evidence-based research to back up what she was suggesting so I could understand the “why” and know how her suggestions were going to benefit my health and well being in the long run.
I learned so much in my time with Coach Brittany and walked away not only having met my goals, but learning more than I expected and being able to take that with me for a lifetime. “I had a great experience working with Connor. I had been very loosely tracking for awhile, but needed someone to keep me accountable while I lost the last five lbs. “I liken my coaching to bowling with the bumper ups. Sure I could maybe hit some pins or even a strike without them but boy howdy is it easier with that guidance. Near fool proof.
