“I had a transplant with the London clinic to bring forward my hairline as I'd always had a high forehead. After a video consultation I had a chat with the surgeon face to face who planned out just how far forward it was possible to bring it whilst still looking natural, as not looking fake was a big concern for me and he's done such a good job there. The procedure day was really relaxed, another chat with the surgeon to remind me of the process, then the 2 nurses took over and were so friendly, chatting with me throughout the whole operation, making sure I didnt feel any discomfort, and taking care of me. The whole day took from about 8am to 3pm in the afternoon and I was back home and recuperating for 10 days afterwards. There was slight swelling for a couple of days as I was told to expect and by about day 8 everything had healed nicely. I went for the part shaved method, so a section of the back of my head was shaved but my long hair has been covering that just fine until it regrows. The new hairline is starting to sprout now, and I'm really looking forward to it getting some length, and very pleased with the results.”

“I had various consultations with other clinics both in London and Turkey, and went for the My Hair clinic because they were so much more relaxed and professional, didn't ever push me for a decision, and seemed much more knowledgeable about the process. The doctor was willing to spend a lot of time with me discussing my requirements and exactly how I wanted my new hairline, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Only downside is the amount of time you have to wait for the final result, but that's nothing to do with the clinic, and they have been great with my aftercare. At only £500 more than I was quoted in Turkey, to get it done in London to a much higher standard was an easy decision for me.”

“Undergoing surgery was a big decision for me and I had put this off for nearly a year while I made my mind up, having had the procedure I can safely say I wish I hadn't waited. The treatment I've received has been first rate, everyone from Daniel my Trichologist to my surgeon and all his team were friendly and professional, and always willing to help. The surgery day itself flew by with the technicians chatting to me the whole time, and the vibe was very relaxed but professional. Anything I have asked regarding aftercare has been answered promptly, and after a couple of weeks you would not have been able to tell I'd had a transplant, no scarring or marks anywhere. I can see where the new hairs are starting to grow, and while it's going to be some time before I get to a year and see the final results I can't think of how anything could have been better to this point. Roll on summer and my new hair!”

“The clinic has been great, informative and really quick to answer any questions before and after the procedure. I could tell the people I spoke to were very knowledgeable and my surgeon spent a long time with me designing my new hairline on the morning of the procedure. As I've got pretty substantial hair loss I know I'll need 2 transplants to fully cover it and the next is already booked, but the results of the first are already starting to show and I'm over the moon with it. It's a very friendly establishment and they've made dealing with them a pleasure so I'm happy to recommend them to others.”

“This is my 2nd FUE transplant as I had my first one on Harley Street and paid an absolute fortune for it, and I went into this a lot less nervous than the first one knowing what to expect, but I'm not sure if anything has changed as this was a lot less painful than I remember, and the service from the My Hair clinic was so much of an improvement - clear communication, very organised and they really took an interest in me and my result, checking in with me beforehand and regularly afterwards and getting a monthly progress pic so they can see how it progresses. Very impressed considering it was half the price of my first transplant and feels done to a much higher standard.”

“I had my FUE surgery at the Manchester clinic just over a month ago. My surgeon and his technicians were absolutely first class and made me feel at ease instantly. I've been treated in a very professional manner from start to finish, both on the day and with the after care making sure I'm following the instructions and that it healed okay and the 2400 hair grafts are now safely in my head. the back of my head where the hair was taken from has recovered perfectly, you'd never tell anything was taken from there, and I'm a very happy patient!”

“I felt I was in very capable hands the whole time I was dealing with the My Hair clinic, which definitely wasn't the case with a few others I had talked to. My initial video consultation led me to coming in to visit them in their consultation centre to design my hairline and going into detail about what would happen, and the results to expect. To cut a long story short, everything we discussed was delivered as promised, my surgeon did a fantastic job and the full team there really took care of me. There was no pain after surgery and recovery time was a bit over a week. A few months down the line and I'm starting to see the growth coming through in the timeframe that was expected, and a little ahead of schedule which is nice, really glad I chose this place.”

“I had my procedure last year and I cant begin to describe how good my results are and how much of a change they have made to my appearance. I spent so much time trying to style my hair forward over my ever-decreasing front hairline, and got to the point I didn't want to go out of the house on a windy day. Eventually I thought enough is enough and decided to do something about it. Really pleased I did. For a days surgery and a couple of weeks off recovering it's well worth it, my doctor was very reassuring, and the girls at the clinic were so friendly. You need professionals when doing something like this and the My Hair UK team were spot on. Definitely recommended.”

“I had my initial consultation with the clinic Trichologist a few months ago, then followed that up with a visit as I really wanted to meet the surgeon who would be performing it. We spent a long time discussing what would happen on the day and how I wanted my new hair to look once fully grown, and despite it being in London I found the price more affordable than expected (a couple of other clinics I spoke to quoted £6k+ for the same thing!). My procedure was in December and the day went so smoothly, the nurses were chatting with me all day and did a great job taking care of me. Downtime afterwards was just over a week, and I'm excited to get to later in the year for the final results! I've already recommended a relative to this clinic and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone thinking of a transplant.”

“I had my transplant procedure about a month ago at the London My Hair clinic, and everything went as well as it possibly could have. The whole team were professional, polite and friendly and I felt I was in good hands. The surgeon was clearly very experienced and spent a lot of time with me making sure I was getting exactly the new hairline I wanted. Communication has been great throughout before and with the aftercare process and any questions have been quickly answered. Overall very professional service from a high-quality clinic. Only 4 stars might seem harsh when I can't think of how it could have been any better, and I'll update this to 5 stars after I have my final results which is apparently about a year's time.”

“I cant believe the difference this surgery has made to my self confidence. When something like this starts to stress you out and you cant stop thinking about it when you see yourself in the mirror, it's hard to explain the relief once you get it sorted. My doctor (I cant remember his name unfortunately as it was a few months ago) spent so long in making sure I understood everything and getting the shape of my hairline just how I wanted it, and the team of nurses were so happy and chatted with me all day. It hurt a lot less than expected, and other than a few initial days of swelling that I was told would happen it all healed up really fast. I'd point anyone with the same issue in their direction, it's such a big improvement!”

“I had been considering a hair transplant for a while and was in 2 minds whether to go for it, but after a visit to the clinic and a long chat where they went over the pros and cons (it's always so refreshing when they will tell you the negatives as well as the positives) they left me to make a balanced decision, and I'm so pleased I went ahead with it. The clinic staff were calm and professional, and the day was straightfoward in the end. 2 weeks off work to recover was a bit of a faff but unavoidable, and now it's healed there's no sign of any transplant, and the first of the new hairs are starting to come through. The cost was only marginally more than the Turkish clinics but having it done close to home where there is support whenever you need it was totally worth it.”

“From my consultation onwards the one thing that stuck out was the way they spent time to explain everything to me, not just promising a result but going through what happens, why the hair loss is caused, the different things I can do about it, and what happens during the surgery. Even with the aftercare the recovery steps are explained properly and they checked regularly to see how I was doing. On the day the Surgery process was straightforward and other than a bit of a sting from the anaesthetic injections the day was painless. I've had great treatment from everyone involved at the clinic and happy to recommend them to anyone considering getting their hair back.”

“I found the My Hair clinic through a friend who had surgery there, his result was great, and I found it to be a very professional organisation. My advisor has been in constant contact preparing me for the day and afterwards checking I'm following the aftercare instructions and that everything healed okay. The day took around 6 hours, was relaxing and full of friendly staff who took good care of me. A few months down the line and I'm starting to see the results, still a way to go until I see the finished article after a year, but I already know I'm going to look better this summer than I have done in a long time. Very Pleased.”

“I had my procedure cancelled with only a week's notice just because I told the clinic I was taking Warfarin. I'm really disappointed as I have been looking forward to this for such a long time and had booked holiday time off work which cant be changed.”

Hi Derrick, Yes as explained, it is not possible to have a hair transplant procedure while on blood thinners like Warfarin as it could cause excessive bleeding. Unfortunately, you did not disclose this at your initial consultation when asked about medical conditions, and it was only discovered when you later submitted your medical questionnaire. Some patients can transition off Warfarin for a short period with the permission and guidance of their INR clinic, but as your NHS Specialist confirmed it is not safe for you to do so due to your individual circumstances, we aren't able to safely perform the transplant. We regret having to cancel and if it were possible would have been delighted to perform your procedure, and we did cancel the same day you notified us. If we had been made aware of your condition at the outset we would have been able to advise accordingly and not booked you in for surgery in the first place. All of this has been put in writing via email, and if you have any further questions do not hesitate to get in contact with us.

“I had a beard transplant at the London branch in October, and as it's at the stage where I'm starting to see growth, I'm confident in getting a good result and happy to leave a glowing review. From originally not even knowing a beard transplant was possible and stumbling across it on google, I started researching and after a consultation with Daniel who explained it in a lot of detail I decided to bite the bullet and go for it, to fix what was originally a rather patchy thin beard. While he did explain that there were no guarantees, how it looked already meant there wasn't much downside but I'm happy to report that things have been excellent. Daniel and all the staff from the doctor to the rest of the team have been outstanding throughout, looking after me on the day of the procedure which took around 5 hours, and afterwards checking it has healed fine. The new shape is already clearly visible and really redefines my face exactly how I wanted it. I'm pleased with all aspects, and if you're thinking of one yourself then go for it.”

“Great relaxing surgery day at the My Hair clinic in London, I travelled down the night before and stayed in a nearby hotel and was there for my 8am start time, the nurses welcomed me then my doctor sat down and went over everything that was going to happen as a refresher, then my head was shaved and my new hairline planned out. I went for the Jet anaesthesia as I'm a baby when it comes to needles, and there was very little pain involved despite what I'd read. The 2 technicians who did my initial extraction were so chatty and kept me company, and then the doctor made all the little incisions where the hairs were going to go, we stopped for a bite to eat and a comfort break and then the final few hours were the grafts being placed. I finished around 3.30 pm (I had about 3000 grafts so it was a big procedure, then travelled home and was back and in my own bed. Recovery took about 9 days for the scabs to go, and I'm now 1 month in and at the shedding phase. Everything is going to schedule and I've had regular check-ins to make sure I'm okay. all in all I'm really pleased and looking forward to seeing what the final result looks like later this year!”
