Absolutely awful company, never had an order arrive on the day they said they would. Item was destroyed beyond recognition once delivered. I would rather entrust my package to an untrained carrier pigeon.

Absolutely useless company, I have never had a smooth experience with them sending or receiving. I dread the moment their company name is mentioned, they are that bad. Customer service is non existent. Please don't bother, save yourself the hassle and pay slightly more. Wish I could give 0 stars

I have never had a problem with Hermes before but i sent a parcel 12 days ago which has not arrived no one has contacted me and i am fed up of trying to find out where it is i will not use again Can not speak or email anyone just a useless automated chat line. My parcel has been showing that it has been delayed since 20th October. Chat line response says, Sorry to hear this. Rest assured we are still working hard to get your parcel delivered & we’ll notify you as soon as it’s out for delivery. looks like i will be out of pocket for £50 - trainers return.

Every delivery from this terrible company has a problem with it. The latest problem is that they say they have delivered successfully with a photo that bears no resemblance to my property. Impossible to get through to a human to discuss the problem. If I see that a company uses Hermes I will not order from that company

Dreadful company. Should not have a licence to trade in some areas, especially in rural locations where I live. Fed up of Hermes excuses. This is my email to them this morning. 3 weeks and still no parcel. Dear Hermes Team. In response to my other emails, this is to let you know that my parcel never turned up. I am also aware that during the same week/weekend when the HERMES courier said they couldn't deliver as no one was in was a lie. They didn't even try to deliver and my partner had a packlink parcel due to be delivered and that has gone ' missing'. This was the same day. I appreciate that Hermes DO NOT care about customers parcels, and your easiest way out is to say sorry and to suggest a refund from the retailer, HOWEVER, Hermes are a company that offer a delivary service and therefore it is your responsibility when customers parcels go missing due to couriers that cannot be bothered to post parcels. As they are able to press a button on their machine offering a variety of excuses, i.e. not able to deliver, customer not home etc etc. A customer cannot argue the point. You offer no compensation whatever to customers. I dread ordering on line especially if a retailer uses Hermes as their Courier service as its a guessing game to whether it turns up. You really do not care. As it is, I am out of pocket for my missing parcels items and had to go and buy my Grandaughter other Birthday items. I will get a refund from the retailer at some point.

Hermes is an absolute rubbish company my latest delivery from eBay is now 3day late, checked my Hermes app and parcel hasn't moved for four days now Two weeks ago they lost my Toolstation order and had to be reordered. Good companies are getting a bad name due to their extremely poor service!

Hermes never deliver to my block, but always the block down the street!! I always end up having to go out of my way to ask my neighbour for my packages (which they open half of the time). My neighbour and I have a very hostile relationship. I am a woman of colour and she is an elderly white woman. When i go to collect my packages, she throws racial slurs at me. I would like to avoid my neighbour at all costs to avoid this racial abuse, but hermes ALWAYS delivers my items to her so I have no choice but to be insulted. its either that or I lose my parcels. This problem could be solved if Hermes simply got my address right!!! Would save me a lot of hassle if they simply did their job correctly!!

Stuff nightmares are made of this company. I received a tracking number for a parcel from Liverpool fc, it has supposedly been at the depot on a 24 delay.... That was ten days ago, tracking never moves. Metal Micky is as much use as a chocolate fireguard. Rubbish and rude... Never again!

Shocking service! I arranged with Next to have Hermes collect a return for me on Saturday 30th October. I stayed in all day but no one came and I wasn't notified. Obviously puzzled, I called Next and they said Hermes had delayed the collection. I asked them why no one had told me and they didn't know. I then made other arrangements to post it back myself using Royal Mail tracking label which they then sent me. This evening, however, two days after the original collection date, a man from Hermes came to my door wanting to collect the parcel (which now has a Royal Mail tracked sticker over the collect by courier sticker). When I said he was supposed to come on Saturday he was extremely rude and stormed off without allowing me to give him the parcel or letting me explain about the new Royal Mail label (which would have had to be peeled off again). I can't even begin to tell you how utterly DISGUSTED I am with their company. This is now the third or fourth time I've had issues with them (one in particular, where an employee LIED about me signing for a parcel when I wasn't even in when it was delivered). How DARE your workers behave like this? And, to cap it all - it's almost impossible to complain! Have written to the CEO but it probably won't make any difference.

Parcel said now to have been 'held up'..for six days. No further explanation, nor any way to demand it. I have had two previous bad experiences with Hermes, once when they delivered to a local Tesco instead of me,one door away and with a clear house number; another time when they gave me someone else's parcel so i had to find their house....

The worst scam company to work for. I worked for them for 1 month. The Chatham depot manager Lisa Hyett, said that I’d be paid weekly for the first month but I only got paid 37 later than my first day of work. Also, she told me that delivering the large boxes that she was giving me would pay £2 per package. In the end I had delivered around 170-180 large boxes in 9 days and only got paid £144 🤯. After I kept chasing it every day they finally gave me a second payment after another whole month delay of £21 😂. The manager refuses to answer any calls and the head office tells me that it is the managers responsibility to process the payments right and pay what she agreed with me. So I’m forced now to go through the small claims court to get my money. They owe me at least £120 extra plus £15 from the bonuses of getting my target ETA in time most days. I don’t understand how that manager isn’t embarrassed of herself and how a big company like that is trying to make profits by robbing a few hundred pounds from its drivers. It’s disgusting. Wasted 36-40h on the road delivering for them just to barely get paid back my fuel and be constantly mocked by the manager telling me not to worry that I’ll get all the money that I‘ve been promised in time, until now that she refuses to respond.

This company must shut down asap. There's not been ONE single shipping done properly. ALWAYS late, even if you're fool enough to give these people more money to have it delivered faster. Their chat and customer support is an absolute joke exactly like this utterly ridiculous company. Sadly some online shops still use this wreck of a company. HERMES, when will you finally just give up and shut down your ridiculous service?

Truly the worst delivery service there is in the UK, time and time again they have delivered the parcel 2-3 days later then expected, or even lost my parcel in 2 cases. When you are having an issue there is no way to speak to an actual human just a poorly designed robot chat that can only answer 1 of 5 questions. I honestly do not know why people continue to use Hermes after all a large percentage of parcels just end up at an auction house in Birmingham. When I see someone using Hermes as a courier from now on I will refuse to buy products from them as using this delivery service causes nothing but hassle. Hermes need to step the game up, the only courier that is not competent at the only thing it is meant to be doing, delivering.

Totally unreliable, got notified two days in a row that delivery has been attmpted and I was not in even though I was. Very dissatisfied.

Myhermes. Seems to be a totally unreliable delivery service. I have ordered from M&S but no sign of delivery as yet two day's late no contact except notice of it's been dispatched, I will have to give up on M&S clothes unless they can change to a better service, I'm a very unhappy customer.

Hermes is spamming me with emails demanding I review them on Trustpilot. I don’t want to review them. I can’t mark their emails as spam as I do actually want to receive emails relating to deliveries, just not their incessant spam emails demanding a review. So, ironically, their insistence on reviewing them has made this a one star experience. I don’t have a Trustpilot account, and don’t want one. So I have no way to get out of this spam loop because the delivery was three weeks ago and I still get an email every few days. When I phoned I don’t actually have an account with them, the seller I bought from does, so there’s no account preferences to update. Their staff are useless, there’s no escalation process and I’m beyond irritated by this entire experience. If I had Hermes terrible reputation I would be trying to avoid reviews. They’re generally not good.

Second delivery in a week through two separate companies that is late. Marks and Spencer package supposed to be delivered yesterday but says delayed and will be with me in 24 hours. Yeah right, that message was put on 24 hours ago and no sign of my parcel?? Can't get through to anyone. M&S have been really good but not a lot they can really do. Paid for next day delivery but according to the hermes website, in their world next day means 1-2 business days! Okay!! Very unhappy with the service received on both occasions, especially as I complained to hermes about the first one and they were 'investigating'. Still not heard from them.....never ending with them. Would never willingly use they're a complete joke.
