Would give no stars if possible ! Took money that wasn’t theirs and refuse to refund it back can’t get in touch with them and if you can they magically loose the connection ! Thieves without a face !

Can never get a delivery right - it’s a joke. Can’t speak to anyone and just left in the lurch. Terrible service

The worst experience ever ! Arranged del to neighbour delivery driver didn’t go there no explanation why but arranged through the company Said was left in a safe place in my porch ( of which I haven’t got ) there proof was a picture of 2 bricks close up! Then when I pointed this out they changed their story and said they had left with a young child who said there mummy was busy ! My son is 21 and lives away at uni ! When I pointed this out they wouldn’t escalate to a manager and said if I wasn’t happy I could re open case in7 days and it was resolved ! Can’t call either number not in use or answer machine saying head office closes at 6 ( I called at 5pm!! ) Absolute joke I hope people avoid them at all cost!! Wouldn’t give it 1 star that bad !

No attempt to deliver parcel today as a set pf temporary traffic lights are currently outside my house, the extra 25 yards the courier would have to walk must have been to much for them. Shocking service!!!

100% down right useless company in ever respect. Admitted to having my item but did not do any more, stole it? sold it? lost it? WHAT HAPPENS TO ALL THE MISSING PARCELS WITH HERMES????? No more online shopping ever again! They said to my seller that it would take 24-48 hrs just to investigate what the situation was with my order 11 days after it had been dispatched by seller and 7 days after Hermes had acknowledged receipt of it. Have to stay in every day as it has to be signed for.

Shame that I cannot give Hermes zero stars! Useless company. Did not deliver my parcel but forged my signature and showed innacurate "tracking" data. Hermes has a so called Complaints Department whose sole purpose seems to be to fob you off with stock phrases drawn from a book of excuses: I have 12 of these repeated word for word. Don't bother complaining because it will get you nowhere! You may guess that I do not recommend them!

Worst company I have ever dealt with, excuses of van breaking down, week later still no parcel, they apparently picked it up but haven't delivered to me and I haven't a clue where it is as can't track it either..never will i use this company ever.still don't know where my parcels are ...

I have used Hermes for years with just the odd hiccough. Sadly at Christmas I decided to send a very important parcel with them, it was special hand made christmas gifts to my daughter little friends, 3 children. I posted the parcel on the 9th December. Before even registering at the local depot the parcel disappeared! I spent hours on the phone, emails etc and yet still no parcel. I kept being told to put in a claim as it was "lost". Finally I saw the local Hermes driver and asked him to ask at the depot. Miracle of miracle the parcel appeared that day, nobody has yet told me where it was! It was delivered one month after it was posted!!!!!!!!! I then complained again to Hermes about the delay and was offered 50% off my next parcel, I said that I wanted my money back for the parcel that took a month to be delivered (£4.05), eventually I was told 50% off a new parcel was all they would be doing. I am disgusted and wont be using them again. 3 children didnt get their Christmas presents on time and I have spent hours of my time trying to find this parcel when Hermes couldnt have cared less

Ordered next day delivery for my son's birthday we are a Pub Hermes said they tried to deliver which is a lie - we are a pub we are open. Tried to call automated system asks for tracking number which I gave to it and it just repeats asking for tracking number. I rang again this time saying I didn't have tracking number and the automated system said can't help you then and puts phone down. My sons birthday ruined appalling service from a large company

Ordered a cardboard box for packing a guitar I'm selling. The box being delivered by hermes returned as 'damaged beyond repair'. I mean, they can't even deliver cardboard without damaging it!

Recieved ANOTHER damaged parcel today delivered by Hermes. I suppose i should be glad it actually turned up and was brought to my door as they are usually thrown in my yard or go missing! Useless company

last month something i was waiting for went missing worth over £250!! this month yet again another missing parcel this one worth £500. Ebayers need to stop using them there cheap because there thieves.

My parcel was stolen (they said 'lost') at my local depot, and it took weeks and many phone calls to receive my compensation. Hermes have the worse customer service, of a company their size, I have ever experienced. I am now telling retailers I do not want parcels delivered by them, and certainly will never send parcels with Hermes again.

I brought a item which was posted using Hermes and was to be delivered 24th or 25th so I stayed in and didn't move from my property. It did not turn up so I checked tracking number and for no reason that I could see it was sent back to the person I had brought it from so I tried to phone Hermes! That was a joke as there's no way they have any humans working there to find out why this had happened. Come on Hermes why are you messing your customers around! Is this why you don't have humans on at you company because you would be inundated with phone calls from upset customers? I am expecting Hermes to come back and say they tried to deliver my parcel but there was no reply my butt number one Hermes I was in for 2 days a number two to I have cameras that can prove that you did not try and and deliver my parcel! Why anyone would want to use this company I have no idea. When you can give stars one star to five stars there should be an option to go one to five stars minus because I know exactly what I would choose. -5 review for Hermes!

Until recently I had all positive experiences with Hermes, both sending and receiving. But when things go wrong.... I sent my mother a Bosch cordless vacuum cleaner a fortnight before Christmas, but the tracking stopped at my local depot. I started to chase it immediately, but customer service were unable to phone the depot, and they took days to reply to an email requesting they look for the parcel.By the first week of January I was eligible to submit a compensation claim, as I had taken out cover for £139, the amount I paid at a Currys sale. I was told I had to wait fourteen working days before a decision was made, this equating to nearly three calendar weeks. I had to make several calls to the claims department before they finally transferred the insured sum, plus shipping refund. Of course I can no longer buy the vacuum at the sale price, the cheapest is £189. You cannot over-insure your parcel because the claims department want to see receipts for everything. I believe my vacuum cleaner was stolen at the depot- foolishly I sent it in its original carton, with photographs of the contents. Considering my parcel had label envelopes there is no way it is 'lost' in their warehouses, if that were the case they would be knee deep in lost parcels, every week. I am now looking for alternatives to Hermes, even though it will mean a longer trip to a drop-off, or pay for collection. Before my bad experience I would have given four stars, but I can't forgive the appalling level of customer service, and the amount of my time the whole episode has taken.

Absolutely hopeless. They email to say parcel arriving between 2pm and 7pm. At 4.25pm email arrives to say unable to deliver parcel. This routine repeat for several days. No way to contact them ..their website has been meticulously designed to prevent you contacting them. Parcel then disappears off their system and vendor has to resend via Royal Mail arriving the next day. This is NOT a one off ... several parcels have followed the same path.

I didn’t even want to put a star but there’s no choice! Absolutely rubbish company! I just don’t understand as to why such big names branded stores use them to courier items! Poor service, poor everything! You can’t even get in contact with a human to complain!! So unfortunate as most stores use them so I have no choice! Total rubbish!

I've had several bad experiences with Hermes recently, there is no way of getting in touch with them when things go wrong (they sent my parcel to the wrong address with a photo of someone else's porch where they had left the parcel). I tried the live chat multiple times and was just given an automated 'hi my name is holly, what's yours' message and I finally found a phone number for them but was just re-directed to the live chat by a robot?! I don't give reviews but they are too terrible not to

I'm waiting for 3 (!!!) parcels. All of them was delayed and on it's way to me more than a week ago... I can't contact with them at all. Where are my parcels???
