Lost one of my parcel and damaged the other parcel. Refused to refund the money of the damaged item becouse they itemised it up as fragile!!!No way any of these reasons get accepted by any human being.

Unreliable and useless and I being nice. A parcel was to be delivered and told by 2000. 1930 told can’t del today but next day by 2000. 2000 changed running late but coming. Nothing. Total silence. I will check in future what courier a company uses and if says them my reply will be no sale.

They left my parcel unattended under the recycling boxes! On a refuse collection day! They got collected with the recycling within an hour... unbelievable! So unprofessional. Could also have been stolen!

Still waiting for 1 item that's a week and a half late now.. and my next day delivery parcel still hasn't arrived either.. worst delivery company everytime me or my wife orders there is a problem

I cannot leave 0 stars which is a shame. Ordered some essential equipment for my work and the delivery driver left the parcel not in my hands, not in my letterbox, but in the completely insecure, communal hall of the block of flats, where the parcel was promptly stolen. After contacting them, I received a reply that stated that the driver had delivered the parcel to my address, followed the procedures and my parcel was now unaccounted for. This shows a complete lack of any sense of responsibility, unprofessionalism and the inability to deliver a parcel correctly, which is the entire point of the company's existence. They advised me to contact the seller of the item, which seems ridiculous as it is not their fault that Hermes decided to leave a parcel in a communal area where anyone could just pick it up. The delivery photograph clearly showed it left in the communal hallway as well. Awful, awful service. Steer well clear if you can

Hermes was previously quite a reasonable delivery service. However, since the virus hit the UK, and possibly a huge upturn in deliveries from mail orders, the service has become far less reliable and the reimbursment for lost or misdelivered items is not operating correctly. Locally (Bridgwater. Somerset) we had a report of a dishonest depot working stealing parcels. Have now been waiting on their helpline for ten minutes and been cut off. Dreadful. If Hermes cannot cope with the business they should stop trading.

No true update on when delivery will take place. State at local depot at 07:00 but will it come today or tomorrow ? It’s a guessing game with this company. Even get an email stating Hermes is awaiting Hermes !!

Hopeless delivery service. Parcel always gone missing with dodgy delivery photos which mean nothing showing ‘delivered’. Zero confidence in ever receiving anything from them.

They delivered my package to the wrong house, then claimed they'd delivered it to me when I raised it with customer service. They pointed to a photo of the delivery with a woman with a completely different skin tone to my own accepting the parcel. She does not live at my place. They could not tell me where they had delivered it. And when I pressed, they basically told me they weren't going to help me anymore and if I had a problem, I should contact the retailer who used them. Zero responsibility. Absolutely appalling.

This is the worst service possible I have been told my parcel for return will be picked up twice it’s still here when I track it it says they have picked the parcel up and is on its way to sports direct. It hasn’t the parcel is still here. And I tried to call and speak with a person but it’s impossible. I would give 0 stars if the system allowed.

Absolutely the worst service ever and the robot is a joke, trying to speak to a real person is impossible!!!!! Oh and my parcel has been delivered to an empty house next door despite us having a number on our door !!!!!!!!!!

Absolute joke of a company, I shall be doing some homework before ordering anymore goods and shall NOT order anything else from ANY company that uses these fools. No parcel....Didn't try and deliver, this was an outright lie...No customer service and if I could give less than 1 star in my review then I would. You my friends are a waste of oxygen. And I wish your company untold losses and bad luck !!!! (I have zero problems ordering worldwide but these fuckwits can balls up a local order, go figure?)

Appalling. I buy about 6 or 7 items a week online shipped by package delivery companies. For every five items I buy that are shipped with Hermes, I get three of them. The others go missing but are marked as being returned because I rejected them which is an outright lie. Its been a lockdown, I'm in, where else am I going to be, no one comes to my door to deliver them. We have CCTV on the front door, the Hermes delivery man must be invisible! All the other delivery companies deliver faultlessly, never had one go missing. Of the Hermes ones that get marked as returned not a single one has ended back with the seller. It's caused so much grief as I collect rare items, once they're gone, they're gone and they're gone for the seller too. I report this every time and I've complained to Hermes and had absolutely zero response. I can't give you a barcode Hermes, I'm the buyer all I get is an eight digit tracking number. I'm prepared to believe that it's a local issue but Hermes sort it out! I now have to instruct sellers not to ship Hermes or I won't buy.

I have had three messages from Hermes on three separate days stating that the driver has problems with the delivery address. It also states, 'not to worry, we'll deliver again tomorrow.' It is impossible to talk to anyone as the phone line is automated and it is also an automated chat on their web site which is worse than useless. I have no idea what their problem is yet that have my telephone number to call. If anyone from Hermes reads this, or is in the least bit interested about service, they should know that I have contacted the online store (Dunelm) stating that I cannot make any further purchases from them as their chosen courier service is so utterly unreliable.

No delivery, No help, No contact available - worst customer service that I've ever come across. It's just an automated system clearly designed to frustrate the user and to force them into giving up on their enquiry. There is clearly something very unscrupulous about the way this company operates and no doubt we'll read about it in the local news someday. I'm going to see if the local trading standards department can help.

Not even worth 1 star. Terrible service. Can't contact them. When you use their automated (stupid Holly) never get a reply. Worse service ever. I will never buy anything again that supposed to be delivered by Hermes. Unless I am prepared to wait a week, for next day guaranteed delivery. Ha what a joke

Ordered some high end batterys. Not standard from China. Seller used hermes. Hermes received the items on 16th March . 23rd March they had a problem and would despatch in 24 hours. Now 4th April still no batteries

Horrible company I started to use this company due to the expensive royal mail costs but the lost and broken deliverys are far to many and don't bother trying to claim its horrendous processes switching back to royal mail
