First package (book) had damaged corner as it had evidently been dropped in transit by Hermes. Supplier kindly sent replacement...by Hermes. “Attempted delivery” whilst I was actually home, which was not evidenced. A few days later “out for despatch” and never arrived. Seems lost. Supplier has sent a second replacement which arrived promptly by Royal Mail. Hopefully suppliers are realising the unreliability of Hermes.

Hermes delivered a package with the goods ordered replaced with two pairs of trousers. Cut in the packaging and sealed back up with parcel type. Removed a pair of boots. The company probably does not robustly do staff checks on who they are hiring.

I've had several packages go missing with Hermes over the past 3 years. In fact, 40% of my packages delivered by Hermes have gone missing. Tracking shows as "delivered" and "left with front desk", though there is no front desk in my building. When attempting to contact them, you can't get through to a human, only a joke of an automated online system that is ZERO help. When you phone the number provided, it tells you to check online. When you check online, an automated response says the package has been delivered or is lost and they can't help. They clearly don't want customers to contact them, nor do they care one little bit about lost packages. I've had to contact the sellers in every case and, thankfully, they re-sent the items, but only after days (in one case, weeks) of red tape and hassle. Hermes drivers know that sellers will re-send items, and I have NO doubt they are outright stealing packages. I only pay with PayPal for online orders now because of Hermes. I dread it when I discover a retailer is using Hermes, because I know there is a high probability the item will never arrive and that I have to go through the seven circles of hell to try to get a replacement. I have done a LOT of online shopping, and I can tell you that Hermes is the absolute WORST courier I've ever encountered. I don't know how they stay in business.

My hermes is rubbish delivery company, always lost the parcel in post , no customer service dealing with problems, don’t use them lot any more. Some one always stealing things.

Worst company ever - got a text last Sunday saying my parcel was going to be delivered between 5-7pm - it never arrived, tried calling them only to hear an automated service telling me my parcel had tried to be delivered - not true - unable to actually speak to anybody - 4 days later I am still waiting. Their customer service is appalling

Parcels all ready to be collected - waited all day - no communication - at the end of the day checked my account - parcels marked as 'collected and on their way' - customer service closed - only computer assisted programme repeating same message - next day speaking to customer service - confirming parcels have been collected - nothing they can do - delivery boys get paid according to the number of parcels they collect/deliver, in other words system is totally open to abuse! - will get a refund in three days!!! - no offer for an upgrade - have to start the whole process again - lost a whole day - hopefully will get my parcel delivered on time for Christmas - avoid this company like the plague!!!

Possibly the worst service ever - Hermes have my parcel apparently my address isn't complete so they cant deliver it, yet the address is outlined in FULL - I live on a high street and the number on my door is 15 centimeters high and you'd have to be blind not to notice it. I have had many other parcels delivered by them but for some reason they cant deliver this one. Zero response from the automated 'bot' on line - zero response from email after 3 days, cant get through via phone - shoddy shoddy shoddy customer service - there's a reason why they are so cheap because its the WORST service out there. Will Hermes EVER get their at together???

DRIVER ON THE BOWERHILL MELKSHAM WILTSHIRE AREA CAME TO MY HOUSE THE OTHER WEEK AND TOOK A FULL FRONTAL PHOTOGRAPH OF ME. THE NEXT TIME HE CAME GAVE ME THE PARCEL AND I SHUT THE DOOR, HE THEN BANG AND BANGED ON THE GLASS FOR AGES SCARING MY WIFE WHO HAS JUST HAD A OPERTION AND ALSO SCARING MY DOG WHO HAD JUST COME BACK FROM THE VETS JUST HAVING 13 TEETH OUT.( WE ARE NOT MENT TO COME INTO CONTACT WITH PEPOLE DUE TO MY WIFES OPERTION) -I HAD TO OPEN THE DOOR BECAUSE OF THE NOISE I TRIED TO EXPLANE TO THE DRIVER WHO THEN CALLED ME A P---K 'HE SAID HE HAD TO TAKE A PICTURE OF ME WITH THE PARCEL( NOT TRUE HE CAN LEAVE IT ON THE STEP AND TAKE ONE) HE CAME 2 DAYS LATER WITH ANOTHER PARCEL AND SAID AM I GOING TO SAY SORRY I SAID ITS YOU WHO NEEDS TO SAY SORRY.FOR CALLING ME A P---K HE THEN SAID I WILL NOT GET MY PARCEL AND TOOK IT AWAY WITH HIM ,NOW ALL MY OTHER PARCELS ARE GOING MISSING.( INCLUDING A PRESENT FOR MY ILL WIFE FROM HER SON IN SOUTHAMPTON) WHO NOW HAS FOUNG IT BACK ON HIS STEP IN SOUTHAMPTON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Hermes has lost a parcel in transit and also when a different parcel was delivered it was thrown over the back gate. I have a enclosed porch which every other delivery company use safe and items don't get broken. Hermes are so unprofessional

Hermes are not even deserving of one star... I payed £120 for a parcel that was meant to be delivered by the end of November. After contacting the company I purchased the item from and asking where my parcel is, I was told that Hermes have lost the item and as there are no more in stock I cannot be sent a replacement. This was meant to be a Christmas present for my Son and now I have a week to try and find something else. Nice one Hermes for ruining Christmas. Most useless company I’ve ever come across.

If I could give -* I would, Driver left parcel outside in rain..did not ring bell or knock... complete f......ing waste of time. my delivery was a right off. do not know why companies use them..

I dont understand why anyone would actively opt to use Hermes as a courier for any type of delivery. They're beyond shocking. Sh*t company, sh*tter 'customer service' that dont even get back to you. They lost my parcel and hadn't mentioned it to me - luckily the company I ordered through resent my item via DPD special delivery which I received the next day. I'm currently awaiting another parcel which is coming via Hermes (if I'd have known it was through them I wouldnt have bothered) which doesn't look like it will be here anytime soon which is frustrating as its meant to be a Christmas present. A friend sent me some bottles of cider as a late birthday gift via Hermes - the package had 'fragile' written all over it and they still proceeded to throw it over my back gate (luckily the bottles did not break) but honestly this company should be investigated and shut down/cease trading in my opinion as they clearly dont care and are useless worthless scum in my eyes.

Disappointed!!! Where are my parcels??? Where is your customer service?? And where are your couriers??? I don't know the answer to these questions and I bet Hermes doesnt either!!! Don't give me a delivery date and time if you are going to fail to deliver my parcel. And don't tell me that you attempted a delivery while your Van didn't even pass my front door!! I hope I don't need to use Hermes again and that online shops switch to other more reliable companies.

They are the most useless delivery company ever. Items turn up smashed or don't turn up when they should or at all. The customer service is the worst I've dealt with and are complete and utterly useless would advise everyone to stay well clear of them and any place that uses them as a courier service cause anyone that uses them are just as incompetent as they won't chase it up or anything so your left waiting a week or longer after the delivery dateam. I will be going on every review place and leaving a bad review

Disgusting service. 13 parcels failed to collect in 3 weeks. Failed to give compensation for any of them even though some were lost by them! Now they've switched off their phone lines & Live Chat too!

Absolute rubbish. No matter what is done - cannot track the delivery that is expected. Contacted the seller who have informed us that purchased had been dispatched and is with Hermes. Cannot contact Hermes and yet still waiting.

More than useless! Sent parcel next day delivery and 4 days after still not delivered! I will never use Hermes or trust them with any of my parcels again!!!!😤

The are absolutely 💯 rubbish full of lies Sunday delivery times between 4 and 8 not, yesterday between 5 and 9 not, the have my delivery from Saturday now Wednesday 5 days lol I only tuc 7 days from Hong Kong omg
