Hermes. Untrustworthy and dishonest. I recently sent a framed picture using Hermes. The picture was well packed, marked “Fragile” all over and I paid for it to be insured. Several days after it was supposed to be delivered I was informed it had been damaged and Hermes had actioned a claim on the insurance. This could take up to 14days. 21 days later after many emails they told me it wasn’t covered. They also sent me a list of items not covered. Well the list of items not covered covers every item imaginable. Hermes insurance is a SCAM. I asked for my damaged property to be returned to me and was then informed Hermes had decided to destroy my property without my permission. I have had to reimburse the buyer of the picture and the insurance I paid for is evidently worthless.

This is the second time I've had to deal with this this shower of s,,,,t company.i placed an order with a well known company for next day delivery. Which I pay extra for but because they chose Hermes it's allready one day late.and my previous order was stolen as it was left in the corner of an open car park and no note as to where it was.VERY poor company.

Said they had delivered my parcel at my house NOT TRUE I had to go walking round to track my parcel I've had triple heart bypass would not recommend this company

Drivers constantly lieing saying they’d tried to deliver parcels but hadn’t even been . Shocking ! Most items end up getting returned then I have to wait for my money back . Worst of the worst

Waiting on a Christmas gift since 4th of Dec . Called help line many times waited 15mins plus and still never spoken to anyone . No reply to emails . If this was my business I would be ashamed of the customer service . Every contact is a dead end live chat just fob you off . Management should hang here head in shame .

This company should be closed! Real nightmare. There is no chance speak to humans, just robot Holly. Waiting for my parcel from 15 January.

Waiting on a package that I ordered on the 6th Jan. No tracking updates. Probably lost or stolen as stated in other reviews. Really shocking service. Other items ordered from the UK to Ireland arrived under 2 weeks.

Absolutely shocking service. Paid for next day delivery and the item never arrived. Blamed Covid, then the weather. I've never had a problem with Royal Mail. I now only purchase items without a Hermes carrier only option.

I had next day delivery with hermes days later still waiting they are so rubbish look at reviews state of depots.The worst thing you can't contact anyone impossible my app still says we will be with you 24 hours. So lucky I can get refund from my sender amazon pay peanuts get monkeys

Awful. Parcels go missing Parcels are often late and I mean at 9 or 10pm. Unreliable and just awful.

Avoid sending items of value, they will disappear without any consideration Parcels of value always got missing. Any parcel I sent that had high value went missing no explanation given. This is main problem with this currier that allowed this to go on for many years now. I will be starting police investigation as strongly think here is organised group of criminals within that allow this to take place. They don't show any consideration or proper investigation to try and find parcels even give any reason to why and how, completely ignore you despite having caused you mayor losses. typical criminal behaviour.

This is the worst one in my life, the parcel wasn’t delivered and there was no updates since 2 of January and the funniest fact, there is no way to get in touch with the company and they do not care about that at all. The worst one in my life ever, I have never dealt with the company worst than myHermes... The tracking number is 9815170247747987 as evidence

These clowns have lost my parcel and that has been compounded by the couldn’t care less attitude I have encountered whilst trying to sort this out. You have to wait a really long time on the phone sometimes over 30 minutes before you get through to a person and to say they just couldn’t care less about my parcel is a serious understatement- just a totally apathetic approach, absolutely terrible customer service - if you do have a problem sending a parcel with hermes you will not receive any help you will have to wait ages on the phone to actually get to speak to someone who will not help you because they just couldn’t care less and you will basically encounter a brick wall. hermes has a seriously appalling customer service attitude way way worse than anything I have ever encountered before you will be on your own because they truly truly ‘Couldn’t Care Less’

You damaged the parcel in transit, did not update tracking, ignored the sender when they contacted you and you are keeping the parcel. I have lost so many parcels in transit to your company and I am well aware parcels are stolen and sold at auction. I do not believe you damaged it and I want to be compensated by you, not the sender who filled their side of the deal, YOU. You damaged it, you replace it. No excuses. H003PA0000848471

Hermes are a terrible courier. I can accept that at times parcels go missing in a system which delivers thousands of parcels. What is totally unacceptable is the Hermes response once a parcel goes missing. They are impossible to talk to, their website promises response from real people, this is a lie. The website phone numbers are either incorrect or you cannot speak to anyone. If you wish to make a complaint, well good luck with that! Whatever you do, do not use this company!

Has to be the slowest delivery company in history. I mean, what the heck are they DOING with stuff? It takes a day for them to collect. Then another day for it to arrive at their depot. Then it stays there a day until they send it to the local delivery warehouse, where it stays for another day. Then it goes to the courier where, guess what, it stays another day. If you're lucky, you might get it delivered the following day. That's providing that it hasn't been sent to the 'wrong' depot at some point on it's stupidly convoluted journey and had to go back to the starting deport for the whole rigmorole to start over. Ridiculous. It shouldn't take a week for a parcel to be delivered - if FedEx, UPS and heck, dare I say it, EVEN Royal Mail can deliver a parcel in 24 hours, Hermes could if they wanted to. It's an awful, almost useless company and I recommend you use ANYONE other than them. If someone offers to take your parcel by horse and trap, pay them instead - it'll be quicker

My parcel was posted in the 19th of January. Today is the 26th. It has been not delivered. I posted a parcel via Royal Mail standard delivery the same day. That was delivered on the 21st. This service is rubbish. There is a number to call but that is useless as well

Sent back trainers over a six weeks ago to sports shoes direct. They didn’t receive them. Thankfully Amazon have said they would pay out anyhow. Since then I’ve been notified that the trainers now have been received back, (five weeks later) but no refund forthcoming as yet so I’m in the dark. Annoying, time consuming and unacceptable.
