I have had many transactions via Hermes but it was not until something went wrong that I discovered just how dreadful they can be. There is NO way to contact them on their website. Their so called automated assistant online does not respond. When a phone number was eventually uncovered, it turned out to be another set of recordings & after an option to speak to a person was presented, the line went dead. I paid for a parcel to be collected. I waited all day. No-one came. No email, no call, nothing. A 12h collection slot & the only information from them was that collection was pending. They failed to respond to requests for information sent via PayPal & STILL failed to collect the following day. I had to deliver the parcel myself & seek a refund by PayPal. I am appalled by the complacency that allows this company to operate with no facility whatsoever to address major problems. They are invisible to any sort of complaint.

Pushed a "sorry we missed you" card through the door right in front of oyr eyes. Tried to catch the currier, but he was allready gone. The lack of responsibility and negligence was out of this world. Just one word - appalling...

If you want to know what a bad delivery service looks like, use Hermes. It's so bad I won't even use retailers that use Hermes as a delivery service. Please heed this warning - you get what you pay for

this company has a completely un helpful customer service system. It is all automated and you cannot get through to speak to a living/breathing soul. Stay clear.

I am at home 24/7 with an ill husband.Parcel due to be delivered today 10am/12pm.Front door left ajar all day with note saying "knock loudly I am in".Checked tracking & guess what : tried to deliver today 11.23.You were not in".Yes I bloody was. Do I need to sit on the doorstep all day tomorrow ????

Shocking service. Sent a table lamp to North East England. The item could not have been better protected with lots of bubble- wrap and an extremely sturdy box which was covered in red ‘Fragile’ tape. However the lamp was delivered damaged beyond repair in many pieces. The buyer acknowledged to me that there was not a problem with the packing but commented that the box was badly ‘bashed’. This was obviously carelessness and rough handling on the part of Hermes. I contacted ‘Interparcel’ who advised me that they would take the matter up with Hermes but I have heard nothing. I will not use Hermes again. In the circumstances, I would have expected a refund on the cost of the item.

AVOID THIS COMPANY . Appalling service . Item delivered at N.14 5AS by a female driver . I explained I was self isolating and ask her to take the parcel outside the garage so that I could kick it inside as opposed to picking it up with my hands and she refused . For no reason other than to be awkward. Every other delivery I’ve had from other couriers has been with understanding and professional staff . Item was damaged too . WONT be using them again and have complained to the company who used them as an intermediary service to deliver my items .

First my parcel was 'damaged', then the next day it was 'lost'... Basically can't tell me what happened to my parcel, but I never received it and had to claim insurance!!

It’s a shame I can’t give you zero star! Worst parcel experience,they deliver item I was out post a paper says return to sender!! What no alternative no contact number no costumer service number !!! When I track my parcel it’s says delivered to your porch????? It’s not

worst delivery service about cheap is not always better sent a parcel by hermes 2 weeks ago still not arrived at destination now saying its lost total disgrace ive now lost money having to refund never use again would'nt even have given them 1 star customer service is terrible company needs reporting to trading standards and shutting down my advise never use this company its run by a bunch of halfwits

Hermes has lost my packages in the past and continue to this day, I have begun warning senders off using them but a lot of EBay sellers continue to do so. What's worse is the level of customer service, when they lose a package or miss a delivery they don't notify you they just ignore it and hope you don't notice. Only when the customer reaches out will they offer any sort of compensatino. Avoid Hermes and use their competitors where possible.

Have just had my delivery 5 days late but that's not the worst issue, I ordered a pack of 48 paper towels which I use for my business, on arrival there was only 24, when I asked the driver where the rest of my order was he said that was all there was, I asked to see his delivery sheet and he said there was only an address, I have now had a message through saying order delivered (48 rolls) and customer signed for, untrue, I was never given the opportunity to do so, any companies I deal with in future will be asked who they use , if these, then no order,

Parcel missing over the back fence. Note through the door. No sign of delivery. Asked company to trace driver. Said could not do not interested they kept asking for details I didn't have. Also resolver kept directing me back to Hermes goingrround in circles. Do not trust them.

Awaiting the collection of a parcel, twice now I’ve tracked to say the parcel has failed collection because I wasn’t in despite being at home and can see out the front. No way to talk to a human, the live chat bot is useless was told I’d get an email reply in 24 hours and never happened. Worst courier I’ve ever dealt with

I am struggling to give one star. Hermes supposedly had difficulty delivering to my address ( which is hardly rocket science to find). Trying to get help after using ‘Holly’ to confirm my address was worse than useless. Finding where my parcel is has become a nightmare and very stressful. I will never recommend Hermes in future.

I wouldn’t even give them 1 star, my courier driver is a thief. I got an email on Sunday saying no one was home when they attempted delivery I checked my cctv and no one came to my door and yesterday I got an email saying my parcel has been posted through the letter box. A box with 8 items was supposedly posted through my small letter box. What a disgrace. There is no contact number or email to complaint. This company is a fraud and the courier in Huddersfield is a thief
