Dont sign up because the company is a trap. So they charge you for prime substription more than 75 euros and when it comes to refund they talk you into keeping your subscription and crediting you a voucher on your next flight. the strategy is deceptive and the company has bad service. So disappointing

They took my money. Despite can elling ten days before the end of the trial period they took the money anyway. Then when the airline cancelled the flight I only got half my money back. DO NOT USE Opodo. Total scam!!!

Terrible Experience with Opodo Prime Membership Dear Customers, I regret to share my disappointing experience with Opodo Prime membership and their abysmal customer service. Recently, I encountered a distressing situation where I was charged for Prime membership due to a fault in Opodo's system. Despite canceling my Prime membership on time, I was billed the full amount. Upon raising the issue, Opodo assured me of a full refund, attributing the error to a system glitch. However, it's been over a month since mid-February, and despite multiple communications, I am yet to receive the promised refund. Initially, Opodo refunded only 65 EUR, promising the remaining 20 EUR would be credited within seven days. Regrettably, this amount has still not been refunded. It's disheartening to witness Opodo's reluctance to refund a mere 20 EUR, which might seem insignificant to them but holds significant value to customers like me. It's concerning to imagine how many others might be affected by such deceptive practices. I urge potential customers to exercise caution when considering Opodo Prime membership. Their failure to honor refund commitments and tendency to withhold funds under the guise of system errors is unacceptable. My interactions with a Customer Agent named 'Arsalan' only compounded my frustration, as promises made regarding the refund were not upheld. In conclusion, I advise against engaging with Opodo Prime membership, as the risk of financial loss and poor customer service outweigh any potential benefits.

I booked flights with you going and coming back , both in evening. Woke up in the day of our flight ( due to fly at 19.45) only to print boarding passes out and it’s says 12.00 midday. We were shocked as no one had warned us. Opodo was still saying 19.45. We were nearly late as found out at 8am when we got up. Same on return flights were at night 21.30 printed boarding passes off and it was 11.25 that morning. Il never use again it mucked our whole holiday up. Very stressful. Don’t ever use they are appalling.

Nous avons réservé un vol aller-retour avec des suppléments de plus de 160€ pour changements de dates et remboursement, où il était précisé que tu pouvais faire tes changements jusqu’à 24h avant. Au moment nécessaire ils nous dénient les deux actions parce qu’ils disent qu’il fallait changer la date du vol de retour 24h avant notre vol d’aller MAIS CE N’ÉTAIT ÉCRIT NULLE PART ! Nous nous retrouvons coincés à la destination et à payer un autre billet et perdre le notre en ayant déjà payé une somme importante justement pour que cela n’arrive pas ! Je ne réserverai plus jamais via opodo et je ne vous le recommande pas du tout, faites directement avec la compagnie aérienne, comme ça pas de problèmes ni d’arnaques !!!

Ultra bad customer service, hotline no answer after 10 min waiting, online useless chat bot which asked the same questions and no answer. Impossible to change flight departure destination online. They advertise with a refund for cancellation 80% if you get the prime super vip abonnement which is actually kidding people and nothing more. because they obviously lost the skills for professional customer service. The 80% refunds are calculated wrong. In fact its only 62% of the amount.

Before signing up, try to find where you can cancel your so-called "prime membership" on their website. Hint: You can't. It doesn't exist. ~They say keep scrolling down, but more and more offers come up, until you hit the end. `there is no one-click option. In fact there is no option at all. You must call the numbers above. Then when you do, and are put through to some criminals in India, who promise you they'll cancel it for you, rest assured this time next year you're charged again. The you call, and they refuse to help you -- and when you ask them to cancel the subscription and refund you, they instead offer 'vouchers'.... Avoid like the plague, as they will continue to charge you every year. You will never escape unless your credit card company blocks them or you cancel that credit card. Absolute 100% scumbags thieves of the lowest order. The worst kind of misanthrope humans clearly run by psychopaths

Charged me twice for a booking and used my card to make the booking that they should have made with their own payment system. Clearly holding customers card details including cvv codes. Poor customer service took 55 minutes to get back some of the money and unfortunately made it very difficult to get a refund.

I needed an invoice for my trip and the auto generated one was with wrong itinerary. So I decided to contact them. Firstly the robot is not efficient at all. Then I waited 15 Minutes to be contacted with a person, but this is no where to see if you are on the waiting list and what’s going on. After the contact the operator lied that I will receive my new invoice automatically in 24-72 hours. This never happened. I had to request it myself in the app. Again the itinerary was wrong, but differently wrong. Again 20 Minutes waiting. Then slow responses with no solution. The operator send me as an „invoice“ free text in docx, without even the data from the company. Customer service is disaster

Opodo charged us money for tickets they never sent us. They did not return the money to us. We wrote complaints, but the money is not returned.

Awful company to deal with, when you get a problem, they don't help, all they say is wait, wait, wait! You need wait 30 days, 30 days goes by and nothing, you chase them again, you need to wait 90 days after the trip, 90 days goes by, nothing! Having agreed a full refund, we are now over 8 months later and still nothing. Not one update, not one call, email or message. Awful, don't use them unless you can guarantee no issues. They hide behind the airlines and state in their T&Cs that your contract is with the Airline.

Avoid at all costs, they advertise a low price for a flight and then make you pay much more than what you were supposed to. They offered to add extra baggage at a reduced price and then later to find out that no baggage was added when checking on the airline website. I’ve called to complain they told me they would fix the matter and I’ve been sent an email the next day to confirm that the baggage was added. To my surprise, this was untrue and after another call to complain, I’ve been told that these baggage won’t be added at all as there is some sort of issues with the airline. I’ve asked for an invoice which with any professional company, should be sent shortly after the booking confirmation email. I’ve been told to wait for 72 hrs, to be shocked to receive it stating a price much higher than what was advertised and while I’ve paid around £300 for the extra baggage the invoice states only £109. Their customer service personnel are trained to be so polite and respectful but at the end of the day they have no authority, no power and if I ask to speak to a senior it is like asking to speak to the king or something. They just send back the customer service personnel to repeat the same words. I am asking for a full refund based on this horrible service, but they only offer that I pay for the extra baggage at the airport and then to submit a request for a refund of the money I’ve paid which still will make the original price higher than what it should be. They say a full refund will never happen under any circumstances. Totally dishonest and fraudulent service. First time to book with them and for sure willl be the last.

Where to address the complaint in order to demand money refund as the dates were changed by airline. Opodo is unable to sort out the refund process and every time I contact them via chat box there is no progress at all. Please advise.

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!...Opodo's management after the car hire company was even more appalling! I booked car hire via Opodo in Turkey. A car hire company called DMR. All paid up front and was suppose to have 500Euro blocked on the card as per Opodo documentation for hire on arrival. The company tried charging me 1000Euro then settled at 500Euro. Rather then blocking the amount, they charged it to my card resulting in transaction charges, contrary to the contract signed by Opodo. Most car rentals only block the amount so no charges made. On returning the car, I received no refund and the car company said they will return it after 4 weeks????. No where in any contract with Opodo or the car company it says this. On return and after a lot of searching I found the complaint email for Opodo to try and get my money back and get answers to numerous questions about how nothing seems to have followed the contract i signed to hire the car through Opodo. Someone called Nahed kept telling me it was related to extra insurance which is not refundable (clearly it was not!). Then eventually said it was a deposit but not actually taken from the card (clearly was on my statement with transaction charges), then even though I asked to have the matter escalated, this still did not happen and ignored my requests. I have supplied all statement, copies , charges etc....and still not resolved or spoken to anyone senior. Understand that if you use Opodo, there is no complaints process to escalate anything, the contract you sign may not be followed by third party companies, and they just do not listen or read your emails/complaint! I have never come across a company like this or the employee Nahed who repeatedly does not acknowledge to escalate a problem..... I need to find the regulatory body for this company. Even the CEO does not reply backor get senior management to look into the problems.

Tried to cancel my subscription and they are saying you cannot cancel until a month before they take out your money again! Also they put you on hold for ages. This is a terrible service and would encourage people to avoid using it! I will be taking this further!

Don't do it!! They have taken money out of my account without my permission. Twice!!! Just take a good look around reviews on them. SCAMMERS AND THIEVES. Would never use them again!!! Think you are getting a good deal but they scam their way into your bank account. I have reported them and hope that many more people are doing the same.
