It’s a con. Two years now they have taken £89.99 from my bank account without permission. Despite many phone calls I haven’t got any money back. I used them once 3 years ago by mistake and have paid dearly…..

I purchased a ticket and cancelled within 24 hours. The airline acknowledged the cancellation and sent me a confirmation email, likewise so did Opodo. The airline credited Opodo and told me to get my refund from them. I contacted Opodo and they refused a refund, stating that the airline refused to refund. I know this is not true as the airline have confirmed in writing they have credited Opodo and a refund is due to me. The service from the agent's at Opodo is shocking. I don't understand why a company thinks its OK to steal from clients. Definitely not leaving it and will take further action.

Scammers!! The company takes money from your bank account without authorization by sending fraudulent emails to incorrect email addresses.

I can only assume that the customer reviews on this page are fake. Anybody referencing a "customer service representative" has clearly never tried to connect to a human being employed by this disgrace of a company. We booked a flight a few months ago and accidentally got one of the names wrong. We discovered the error immediately and tried to get Opodo to change the record (according to their policy that's possible within 48 hours). We tried for days to get this corrected and ultimately ended up in a loop of automatically generated messages. We ended up having to rebook a ticket because Opodo was incapable of making the necessary changes and have since blanked any request for refund. Stay clear of this "service" provider!

Worst booking experience I've ever had and if you reach the support, they are not able to help you because the only care about their margins and making money from fees to "create a seamless booking experience" when you actually get the right opposite and they only care about getting more from you

I bought a flight ticket from opodo. During the purchase, opodo asked me whether I want to try 15 days prime subscription. It said, I could cancel my membership anytime. I bought my ticket and accepted the prime subscription. After day 13 I wanted to cancel. Despite 90 minutes on the phone with different people, I didn't manage to cancel and was forced to pay the yearly subscription. They said they would send me a voucher. But I never received this voucher. I later booked a second flight (as I have the stupid subscrption anyway) and read very precisely: You get one free cancellation. I had to cancel and AGAIN that was a scum. I only got 30 % of my flight price and ONLY in terms of another voucher that can be used for another flight. THey are a bunch of criminals. I cut my losses but will contact my credit card issuer and dispute the transaction. Do NOT fall into that trap. Their reviews are cheated as well. The real reviews are all disgusted customers.

I bought my ticket and accepted the prime subscription. I made my purchase with Paypal. Paypal asked me the flight ticket amount and I approved. Later, paypal showed me a notification opodo booked 120 euros from my paypal account for prime membership. I made a complaint to opodo they said that I made 2 years ago a trial prime membership and I cannot again do another trial. Hence they automatically charged me with a real membership. First of all, they didn't tell me this during my ticket purchase. Secondly, paypal didn't ask me for authorization of this payment. Both paypal and opodo made an illegal transaction. They do not even accept their responsibility.

Do not use this company They are terrible and take NO responsibility The worst flight booking I hv ever done and I hv done hundreds Used them by mistake and boy was it a mistake Ryan air blocked my booking because I used them Use at your peril !!!!!

This company is a scam. They sign you up for a free trial of a subscription service without you knowing and then keep it very quiet for a whole year. After a year they take £90 out of your account with no warning. If you try and call them to get your money back you will be in a back and forth fight with one of their useless employees who try and resell you the subscription for a reduced fee as a "curtesy". If you want your money back just keep going back and forth with them until they get bored and eventually cave in. The trust pilot reviews are false do not believe them, I believe this company are forging 5 star reviews. It seems odd that there was hundreds of 5 star reviews all written in the same way last week.

חברה נוראית, רמאית המקשה באופןMy Opodo prime account is most terrible אבסורדי להתנתק מהמנוי השנתי. התייאשתי מהם, כבר בשנה שעברה בקשתי שיבטלו לי את המנוי במקום זאת זיכו את חשבוני 64£ אני בקשתי ביטול אפילו דרך הודעות בפייסבוק, כלום ושום דבר. אין אפשרות לבטל את המנוי באתר, ראו הוזהרתם.

Shocking! Shocking! Missed my Prime subscription trial cancellation date last year. I contacted the call centre and was told it could not be refunded. I do not use this service as its not something I would use regualrly or even annually as I dont travel often, I requested that the handler cancel the subscription completely. The handler advised that I had membership for the next year anyway, so it would be best to continue on until the next renewal where the handler would put onto the account that the next subscription would not be charged. He also offered a voucher for money off a flight - which I told I told him I wouldn't use. (As a note I didnt even recieve this voucher). Low and behold today I recieved a notitifcation from my bank to state 69.99 had been taken by Opodo. I called them immediately and explained last year I was assured my membership would be cancelled before the next renewal date in Dec 24. The handler at that time put ZERO NOTES to that effect on my acocunt and the person i spoke to today said I could not be refunded. I protested - then it was conceded that they could offer me a partial refund of half the money. After discussing the complaints process etc which was completely ridiculous and all effort being put on me the customer I decided to cut my losses and accept the partial refund. I also requested to cancel and the handler AGAIN said I mayaswell keep the subscription open until next year! NOPE! Wow - I have worked in some sketchy call centres and this is a sketchy call centre. Retaining is all they are interested in. As soon as the refund is in my bank I will be calling to ensure the membership is cancelled. I will aslo be raising an investigation with my bank and blocking this "company". Absolutely disgusting customer service. disingenuous call handlers who effectively lie to the customer to secure next years renewals. I will be shouting from the rooftops for people not to use this service ever

I hired a car from Opodo for 4 days but I did not get the service when i reach that destination they were charging me extra for being one hour late despises that i supplied my flight number the guy from Addcar in Bucharest was so rude and i contact Opodo from Bucharest but they did not do anything, that was the worst experience.so i would not recommend anybody to even think about booking anything through opodo

Underhanded and unethical company that take your credit card details and charge you for a yearly subscription without your knowledge. I've been calling them ever since I saw the charge of 90 EUROS on my account and have spoken to countless agents. Each promising my refund is happening only for it to never eventuate. I spend on average 20 minutes on a call each time I ring. I've been calling for a week and have spoken to at least 7 or 8 different agents. NEVER EVER BOOK ON OPODO. DISGUSTING UNETHICAL and a total SCAM!!!!!!

I booked a flight and hotel package with OPODO, they took full payment and next day messaged to say outward flight was full and to call to change flight or for a full refund, I was refund £234.28,I paid them £1133.30,my accommodation was fully refundable up until check in time, This company are Scammers, do not use, Scammers and thief's. I paid them on August 29th, 2024,now December 1st 2024 I am still trying to get.my money back I am owed 868.50 .Do not use this company, check online reviews there are so many, none good.

I booked a flight with them about a year ago, now I have a £90 bill on my card for prime membership I DID NOT KNOW I HAD! I have called them multiple times to say I do not want this membership, did not know how I was registered for it and really need a refund for this service I will not not use and cancelled immediately! They will not refund and have instead stolen this £90 from me. I would advise anyone to never book with them as you can never know what charges they can put in your account once they have your bank and card details. Stay safe and do not book with them! Very disappointed!! This is a fraudulent scam site - filter by 1* reviews - the others are obviously fake. It is worrying they spend so much time on fake reviews rather than sorting out customers issues. They should not be allowed to operate! Update to the response below - I still have not received any money back from what they fraudulently took from my account. Do not give this site your bank details they cannot be trusted.

UNBELIEVABLE AWFUL. I GOT RIPPED OFF BY THEIR PRIME ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION I SPENT HOURS ON THE PHONE AND GOT BOUNCED AROUND 5 DIFFERERNT DEPARTMENTS WITH PROMISES OF A REFUND - IT NEVER HAPPENED. DONT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY AND WATCH OUT FOR THE VERY SMALL PRINT OF ANNUAL PRIME SUBSCRIPTION, IT IS BADLY EXPLAINED. MONEY WILL VANISH FROM YOUR ACCOUNT WITH NO WARNING. REALLY UNHAPPY.

Never using Opodo again - AVOID this company! I booked return flights from ATH to MLO through Opodo. I received booking confirmation by email and the Olympic Airlines booking reference number. I flew ATH to MLO fine, but was refused boarding on the return trip (MLO - ATH) - the check-in staff stating they couldn't find any booking in my name. I was therefore not able to board the flight. I was not offered any alternative flights and all the other flights from MLO were fully booked. I then missed my connecting flight from ATH to LGW the same day. I then had to re-route in order to get home. In addition to the mental stress and anxiety caused by this situation, I also paid for a taxi to the port, ferry to Santorini, bus to the airport, replacement flight to the UK and train from the airport to make the trip home - all additional costs to what I would have paid if I had been able to board the flight I had booked and paid for. When I called the helpline a few days after this incident, I was told it was the airline's fault - so then contacted the airline. They have said there wasn't a return flight booked in my name - so the fault lies with Opodo. I have spent the past six weeks trying to find out what went wrong with the booking - but Opodo are yet to offer any help, a refund or compensation - a terrible company!

I booked a flight and was misled in joining "prime". Then they charged me again for renewal a few days later with a new fee and without my consent for another year after the flight. IMPOSSIBLE to cancel "Prime" on line as their web site is not operating. I had to call them and request to unsubscribe. Took me 25 min to persuade the operator but I lost some 100 € again as they refuse to reimburse me. Also I never got an invoice for all the moneys which I spent on the flight. Never again! Be warned!

They tricked me into Prime membership and then you have to call them to cancel it. You cannot do it online. I wonder if that complies with EU data protection laws?? Someone should report them
