When things go wrong that the true nature of a company is revealed.......just read all the hundreds of reviews below. I'm in the same position and totally frustrated by OPODO, having wasted weeks, trying to get through.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THESE GUYS! THEY BASICALLY STOLE MY MONEY!!!!!!!!!! STOP HIDING AND FIX YOUR PROBLEMS!!!!!!!!

Although not as bad as others on here.. Opodo never updated their app about the Coronavirus situation and they thought I was still flying with them the day before.. Luckily Ryanair had already contacted me about a refund so I did not have to go through this company. Opodo finally messaged saying important information which was actually for my return flight.. This is minimal in comparison to other reviews however speaks volumes of their service. I will not be using them again.

Shocking. We were stranded abroad having had flights cancelled. Because I booked seats directly with the airline they informed me of the cancellation, nothing from these bandits. Tried contacting them but it’s useless, live chat didn’t work, can’t email them and they cut you off if you call. We were eventually put on a flight organised by the embassy, it was just lucky that it was with the airline who originally cancelled us so there was no further charges. DO NOT USE. They will just take your money and leave you high and dry to fend for yourself if something goes wrong.

I've facebook them and been told to go to their support pages even when my tweet states not to direct me there as it no help, I've direct messaged, emailed, rung multiple numbers and called 45 times and tried their chatbot which now says the English team is not available!! Opodo are directly trying to ignore EU law and customer rights by preventing customers from contacting them. Worst company I have ever delt with, ever! They cancelled my flight out of nowhere with the fake reason of Corona Virus, i have called the airline and they told OPODO cancelled my reservation without even consulting me on my OWN money and booking, the whole holiday is ruined!!! Make sure YOU do not use OPODO!!! NEVER AGAIN!

After 2.5 hrs waiting on the telephone I got some kind of connection. It seems to be to a family home in India. Lots of loud noises, people, speaking, banging around, soft and loud music on my phone. My issue... SAFE travel from LONDON home to Australia. The flight they say that I am booked on IS NOT LISTED. NO customer service. The app and the website are not clear on this situation. My booked airline has 4 other flights on the same day :-). DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE HAPPY TO ENDANGER YOUR LIFE!!!

I have flights booked in the next two weeks in Vietnam / Cambodia , due to coronavirus flights either cancelled by airline or I cannot use therefore I want my money returned. To date OPODO don’t contact me and I am struggling to talk to them. I will never use them again and advise everyone to avoid this company. If anyone has any suggestions how to get a full refund plse let me know… I am very frustrated with this company

If there where no stars I would have chosen that. #Opodo took my money( booked 6 months out) for prem eco Aus/Euro retetn. Then a week before dep re send conformation for economy. Took 2 months to get $ back and countless emails and time on calls while travelling Europe for 6 weeks. AVOID OPODO.

Opodo have failed us in every respect. I have been stranded abroard for days looking to get in contact with Opodo. I have spent no less then 18h on hold in total with them, they refuse to answer their phones. The single time I got through they quickly put me on hold saying I needed to speak to another team (I suspect was a lie, I rang customer service and there are no options for departments), the phone was on hold for another 2h and then out of the blue gave me a customer satisfaction survey and hung up!!!! I've tweeted and been told to go to their support pages even when my tweet states not to direct me there as it no help, I've direct messaged, emailed, rung multiple numbers and tried their chatbot which now says the English team is not available!! Opodo are directly trying to ignore EU law and customer rights by preventing customers from contacting them. Worst company I have ever delt with, ever! I highly advise working with any other travel agent Even their contract tries its best to excuse them of any complaint by saying it's not their issue is the airline who say the opposite as Opodo sell the tickets. Consider using this company carefully, and at your own peril

Disgraceful service from the beginning of the booking, and still the same now when airlines are cancelling. Incompetent customer service, Skyscanner need to stop allowing this fraud to continue. Wish I’d checked the thousands of bad reviews before using Opodo. DON’T EVER USE OPODO. Called them, emailed them, tweeted them & got nowhere

Firstly they advertised a flight as a connection but it was self transfer. Second, the first flight of my journey was cancelled so I missed my second flight. No communication about the cancelled flights or a solution (even though I had spent £800). Apparently (according to the airline) Opodo rebooked me onto a new flight, but rebooked me on a flight where I had to pay a £2300 difference. I had to pay this as it was one of the last flights Emirates were doing before they suspended all flights. So far, 10 days after my fight was cancelled ive still not received any communication and can’t get any money back. DO NOT BOOK!!!!!

Booked and paid for a flight. I have spent 10 hours trying to contact them and cannot speak to anyone. Other contact methods are ignored. They didn’t even have the courtesy to tell me my flight was cancelled (I presume it was cancelled as when I went to the airline they had no record of the flight we had booked, neither did the departure airport - not showing as cancelled - just nonexistent) yet on Opodo the booking was still showing as in place. No communication from them. No way of communicating with them. No answer. No help. No support. So right now my non-existent flight has presumably been cancelled but I can’t get hold of anyone from Opodo to get a refund!!! So I’ve paid for a flight that seemingly doesn’t exist, certainly didn’t go ahead, had zero communication or updates and I can’t speak with them to resolve. This is the worst customer service I have ever known in my life. This is the worst company I have ever been unfortunate enough to experience in my life. They have caused untold stress, distress, anger, frustration, despair and wasted time. I hate Opodo. I will never ever go anywhere near such a disgusting company in my life and will probably-actively be ensuring that everyone who I can influence does the same!! I have selected “Not Applicable” for communication method below as I’ve tried every avenue but cannot contact anyone from Opodo!

Minus 10 rating. Avoid this company. All the reviews are absol true and real. Completely unreachable and don't provide us with changes/refunds/vouchers that passengers are entitled to when flights are cancelled. Only option is to take them to court so they won't play with people's hard earned money.

My flight has been cancelled by the airline. Can’t get through to anyone to work out what’s going on. The flight shows as confirmed on the Opodo site. No way to send an email and no customer services available to help via phone or chat. Awful

Awful company that is content to leave customers stranded and take no responsibility whatsoever! Not trustworthy at all. I like many others have had my flights cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic and though the airline is offering free rebooking or credit Opodo are not assisting with this. In fact they aren’t assisting full stop. Mainly because: They DO NOT answer Facebook messages They DO NOT answer Twitter messages They DO NOT answer Email messages They DO NOT answer their phone Avoid at all costs.

With booking number 5069543656, they replied to my email, there were changes in price. From 79.1 pounds to 81 pounds. I tried calling their numbers that i end up spending much because it is international call. Pls refund me and cancel the flight i booked. Help me pls

They are not picking up their calls, can’t contact them at all. I have to go back to my credit card company to get a refund, so I happy I paid via credit card.

Last "call" with customer service today (27.03) 3h and no joy!!! “Received an email stating my flight was canceled by the airline. Need to contact Opodo within 48 hours. Can't reach anyone at customer service. Calls are rejected everytime!!!”
