I wrote a review about my experience with them on Trustpilot, only to receive an email from Trustpilot the following day saying that they asked for information about me which I must provide, otherwise my review would be "taken off line"!! The information is personal, my full name, my phone, my email, plus some! I thought there was an element of TRUST in Trustpilot! At any rate, they can't own the entire internet and bully other sites to remove reviews, so here goes: I was trying to book a ticket with them, and all the good prices were labelled "prime", you'd have to purchase a prime subscription to get those prices, and the cost of that will be added to your ticket price. So far, so good. Many airlines have such a system. HOWEVER, I looked EVERYWHERE on their website for the cost of Prime, and it was absolutely NOWHERE to be found!!! I clicked to chat with what was a "chat robot" and even though I asked a VERY STRAIGHTFORWARD QUESTION: "what is the cost of Prime?" I did NOT get an answer, the robot "didn't understand"?!! Now imagine you are buying something and they tell you to just give them your credit card details without letting you know the price, how is THAT good business? I wrote the FACTS on trustpilot, got an email saying Opodo requested certain "details" (my personal information) and if I didn't provide it, my review would be removed! When I clicked reply to explain the situation (again) to Trustpilot, the mail bounced back as if it were an invalid address (!?). Anyway, a website that REFUSES to show certain fees until after you buy is NOT an agency to be trusted. Given there are countless other websites that offer flight deals, then why on earth book with them?

Never! Never do not use OPODO! The company does not return money for more than a year. Opodo made a mistake in the reservation number and referring to the ticket was non-refundable, does not return money! Staff is lying all the time. A large number of calls to the call center and emails did not lead to any result. Worst company I have met!

Opodo withdrawed 300€ from my account on tip of the ticket price and even after 4 month of calls (about 30 calls) never returned the money

No refund since cancelled flights in May 2020. Absolutely disgusting how they thing they can get away with it. 😡

PLease avoid this company however tempting the cost may appear. If anything goes wrong with the flight you will not get there. It is impossible to speak to a real person and their chat bots just churn out nonsense. Promise after promise but they do nothing. I am amazed they are allowed to operate!

Don’t book tickets with opodo It’s a scam you will cry. I booked a flight on behalf of my husband from Edinburgh Scotland to Harare Zimbabwe. I didn’t know that the ticket did not have any checked in bags. It was to day when l was going through the itinerary that l realised that there was not even one checked in bag. After calling them was told to pay £140 for 2 bags on top of the of the £466 for the one way ticket and £59 Prime what what which they took out of my account unknowingly. To make matters worse l am going to pick up my checked in bags in Johansburg South Africa and checked them in to a connecting flight to my final destination. And the flight doesn’t accept my 46 kilograms that l paid to KLM it wants only 30 kilograms and a very small carry on bag what a hassle what will l do with extra 16 Kilograms that l bought for my first flight. OPODO is a scam⚠️❗️

AFTER A MONTH WHEN I ORDERED A TICKET FOR OPODO THEY WITHDRAW MONEY, WITH THIS CARD I BUY TICKETS ONLY FOR OPODO. SCAM. I propose to unite to hire lawyers and give these crooks in the teeth. There are a lot of such scammers, THEY HAVE NO WHERE TO EVEN CALL!!!! THE MATTER IS NOT ABOUT MONEY, BUT TO PUNISH. korbytmatvii@yahoo.com

Rouges! Booked tickets to Italy wit their so called 30 day free trial of Prime membership. Tried cancelling this multiple times via the App and online over laptop. No provision to cancel, no cancellations confirmation emails. They then try taking £59.99 multiple times despite DM via their twitter account where they said they would refund and cancel. Guess what months later they take 59.99 again!! Now have refunded only when threatened with a formal complaint to the ombudsman. NEVER USE OPODO (based in Spain as we found out in the process).

Avoid this deceptive company and please pay attention to negative reviews. Upon having to cancel a planned family summer holiday in advance, Opodo assured me the airline would provide an open ticket voucher to the same value. Received email from Opodo confirming this open ticket. No offer of my legally entitled refund. I recently tried to rebook these flights for the summer and was refused. Opodo insisting that flights must be used before March 23. Have also learned that the airline do NOT even fly this route again until April 23. I hope customers do their homework and avoid booking with Opodo & they are investigated for these practices. Appalled Customer

I bought from the flexibility option where , i could change my flight by paying some extra money and fare difference. But , when i wanted to avail this , they said airline does not support it . But then why did they sold me this option at first place. They know which airline works on what conditions. You lost my trust. Secondly, they new the Air India flight from Frankfurt to New delhi has new time for departure weeks in advance. The new departure time was 1 hour earlier. But they just informed me 4 hours before the departure time . This was my first and last time with Opodo. Never buy addons from Opodo

The worst service you can imagine! Booking with Opodo is waisting time and money! I am fighting over and over to get my refund back for a mistake Opodo did while booking my ticket and because of that, I couldn't fly back home. Unbelievable.

So be very careful when booking flights if it comes up opodo This case was Ryan Air now For some separate reason my flight Was 50 each for two I have just woke to" my phone on Christmas day" taking 70 pound Just like that so now I have to chase this and have the headache again I just wouldn't fly Ryan Air has already had issues on the way and on the way back costing more money Happy Christmas just been robbed

Don't book with these guys. The purpose of an intermediary is to improve the customer experience. Opdo has made my experience several times worse. And the "Prime" moniker? Prime mug! I had a flight cancelled last Friday. After receiving a text and email from Lufthansa notifying me of the cancellation 3 hours before I was due to leave, I immediately called Opodo. Opodo explained that their system stated that the flight hadn't been cancelled and offered to book me on to the flight. THey were unable to (because it had been cancelled) and suggested I call the airline. After continuously getting an engaged tone with the UK's Lufhansa office, I called the head office in Germany - I was 75th in the queue. I then called the Irish office, who confirmed that the flight had been cancelled. After 2 separate calls Lufthansa (in Ireland) was able to check me out of the flight and offered me an alternative leaving 2 days later. I explained that this represented nealy 50% of the holiday and wasn't acceptable. Lufhansa referred me back to opodo - who once again tolds me that the flight wasn't cancelled. I invited Opodo to book me (and my wife and 4 children on to the flight). They couldn't because - guess what - it was cancelled! I asked them to provide me with a refund and they said that they would investigate and get back to me by email. I got an email 24 hours later explaining that I was ineligible for a refund because the flight went ahead as scheduled. Triple checking, I logged on to the Lufthansa website to confirm, once again that the flight had been cancelled. I have spent the last week trying to get a refund. Opdo is still insisting that the flight went ahead as schedukled despite providing a screenshot from the Lufthansa website with a big cancelled banner against the flight - together with the email that Lufthansa sent. The thing is that Lufthansa were awful. But Opdo has made the experience considerably more stressful. I will never book with Opodo again!

Opodo and edreams,They are a bunch of scoundrels, I have been trying to get my money back since December 2021, a refund that never comes, calling them on the phone and waiting for hours is useless, they are well-structured thieves to keep people's money. shame of company, scammer. Groups of people around Facebook, Instagram, twitter with the same complains and this company just don't give the money back. We have to stop using them

In short: the money was refunded by the airline but Opodo is blaming the airline (and lying to costumers) that it's because of Wizzair they cannot transfer the money back. More details below: I booked two return tickets to a Wizzair flight through Opodo. The flight was cancelled and Opodo informed me: "The airline has cancelled your flight. As your travel agent we have requested a cash refund on your behalf." I said, that's a shame to have the flights cancelled but at least I will get my money back... Little did I know! This happened in July 2021..and the money is still not in! Of course, I spoke with their call center immediately after the cancelling about the refund and several times after (even sent an e-mail with all the details as they requested) and I was assured that the money will be transferred as "We are in phase "request pending airline authorisation", and it usually takes 3-6 months to get the airline/ Wizzair approval." I checked with Wizzair and they confirmed the money have been transferred to Opodo on 30 September, 2021 (!!), and in fact Opodo has requested Wizz credits and not cash. ;) So..the money was refunded by the airline but Opodo is blaming the airline (and lying to costumers) that it's because of Wizzair they cannot transfer the money. The next step would be hire a lawyer as it's also about the money - 600 EUR, but also the ethics. P.S. Booking reference is 7340449217 in case anybody from Opodo is actually reading this. ;)

DON'T USE THIS SH@#TY SCAM COMPANY!!!!!! You will book tickets. You will then try check in to your flight WITHOUT ANY SUCCESS! You will then try contacting "opodo" WITHOUT ANY SUCCESS! You will get stressed. You might get hold of an actual person after communicating with a chat robot after a few threats. They will tell u the flight has been cancelled. You will contact the airline directly and they will have no idea wgat you are on about. You will then have to book new tickets last minute at additional cost. You will be offered a refund. You won't receive anything or any further correspondence from "opodo" even though they said 3/7 working days. You will then chat with your favourite chat robot for a few more hours. You will be told a number of lies. Like they need to wait 30 days to contact airline. You will not hear anything from them until after the 30 days you contact them again. You will be sent fake sincere emails of apologies with a number of excuses. Like you are not eligible for a refund as the airline cancelled. Or you flew on the flight according to there systems. You will think u are smoking crack. Because you sure as he'll did not fly. You will then give up with the lies and contact your bank to request a refund for services not received. Your bank will temporarily refund the money . 2/3 months later your bank will notify you that the "opodo" SCUMBAG SCAMMERS have requested their payment. You will be waisting loads of time and effort and you will be unnecessarily stressed for your efforts. DO NOT USE "OPODO "!!!!! THATS WHERE IM AT. WHERE ARE YOU AT? SOUND FAMILIAR?

Opodo is a trash. We booked a national flight in Peru, opodo sent us the tickets, but in Peru nobody has known the airline, because it does not exist. The chat robot is an idiot, it is imposible to get any answer.
