Absolute India based crooks. Arrogant, rude and rip off merchants. I will never make the mistake of using them again. Please avoid and go direct to the airline or at least another travel agency. Anyone but Opodo.

I strongly advice anyone not to use opodo. Their customer service is incompetent, annoying slow and useless. They informed me with an e-mail that I HAVE TO CALL THEM because there are changes to my flight. I spent more than an hour waiting on the line just to be reschedule with a mistake - my rescheduled transfer flight was supposed to take place 5hrs BEFORE my arrival! They didn't send any confirmation of that or anything. I called them after 2 days to make sure everything is correct - another 2 hrs on a phone line - and they informed me - ohh, there is a mistake, they sent me from one customer service to another - non of them speaks English in a way allowing you to understand anything. Moreover, to talk with them is less productive then to talk to the wall. They ask you to wait all the time and your case is not moving forward! WORST customer service EVER in my life. It is for sure last time I use their services.

The whole process is bombardment with unwanted adverts. They tell you that it is intuitive and easy to understand. It is not. Their so called Instant response when you use their help takes ages. Don't bother with Opodo. They are utter SH1TE. Round bouncy objects to Opodo.

Awful customer service I had to cancel my flight booked through Opodo for health reasons. I am claiming on my travel insurance. The insurance company asked me to get a final invoice from Opodo showing the costs less the repayment of the Air Passenger Duty. I called Opodo's contact centre and was told the invoice would be emailed to me within 24 hours. After 48 hours nothing had happened. I called again, and again was told the invoice would be emailed out to me within 24 hours. I waited three days, still no email. I called again, was told the same, and assured the email would be with me within 24 hours. After another five days I have not received the email. 4 days ago I completed their complaints form. I have no reply. I started this process 2 weeks ago and was told I would have it in 24 hours - but I still have nothing. This organisation does not know the meaning of customer service. Does anyone know how to get the closure invoice that the insurance company wants???

Opodo booked successfully airline tickets but send me the cancellation. To get refund force me to contact airline customer service to cancel the booking. Extremely unreliable company with a unreliable software and customer management service.

Terrible customer service - they advised me of cancelled flight four weeks ago but no refund. Customer service department keep you hanging on for ages - never resolve the issue - I would advise don’t use them.... all reviews are poor

Watch out with their "Flexible Travel Dates" insurance - this is not at an insurance, it is an unregistered and unauthorized product, and absolutely delivers no value at all. It is just an "administration fee".

The worst airline ticket company I have ever used. Their "customer service" is a joke and I actually think they may be crooks dressed as travel agents. DO NOT USE.

DO NOT USE IT!!!! They are completely unprofessional. I use it to book a ticket. My flight got canceled and even though they received the money,Opodo didn't contact me or refund me. I tried for 2 months to get my money back, after the 4th or 5th mail they stopped answering to my mails altogether.Thank God I have used paypal to pay them and I managed to get the refund through them.I received the money from PayPal in November.. Opodo still haven't contacted me about that but they still sent me promotional emails.. Like there is ever a chance to use them again.. It's been 5 months and there wasn't been any reply. Extremely unprofessional

Opodo are just horrible - after I booked a flight they kept my request on hold sending the day after an email asking for higher price. The email also said that the purchase hasn't adn won't be complete until I agree to that higher price. And since I didn't want to agree to that blackmail, I went straight away to the airline website and purchased a ticket. But then the day after Opodo came back and said they processed the transaction taking away money from my credit card. And all that without myself authorising it! You fraudsters!

Never book via Opodo .. they cancelled my first flight and asked me to call them , i did so and got told that my query is not urgent as the flight is in 4 months time even though they asked me to call them .. called them again after they promised to call back in 24 hours and didnt , to be told by the representative i am not a priority , then was expected to fly a day earlier but still catch the same flight which would result in a 13 hour wait in the airport .. after refusing this as it was them who cancelled the flight spoke to another representative around 5 days later who gave me a whole new flight plan which worked out better to then receive another email where i was then told the flights were not confirmed and they had only emailed the airline even though they had told me i will receive confirmation within 72 hours .. worst customer service ever , been getting the run around from one customer service agent to the next and nothing being actually sorted .. AVOID OPODO ALTOGETHER AND BOOK VIA OTHER MORE TRUSTWORTHY TRAVEL AGENCIES .. how they have 5 star ratings i have no idea i can only assume they have written those themselves or paid people to write fake reviews

Not a terrible story but annoying and a sign of the type of business that Opodo run. Ryanair refunded £13 because my son does not have to pay the air taxes but Opodo are not giving me the money. I wonder how much money they make by simply not passing on the refunds...

Opodo is an awful company. If you have a problem they don't do anything to help you out. Customer service is like talking to a robot with a default messages. The website crash when I was doing a booking they charge me twice and they don't respond e-mail either. In the end I called the hotel and they told me I had a double booking but Opodo was inform and they did a refund but the refund hasn't been pay ban into my bank account. I will never use this website again

Don’t book with Opodo! I booked a flight and Hotel to Istanbul. Hotel was confirmed but not the flights. I chatted with the support 12 hours before departure. They told me not to worry and to wait another two hours. Two hours, 4 hours, 6 hours the same story: „Trust us your flight will be confirmed shortly.“ 4 hours before departure, sorry we can’t confirm your flight we will refund me. They only refund the flights not the hotel and not the ground transportation! Luckily, I managed to book the same flight directly with the airline, 3 hours before departure for the same price! I have no idea why opodo couldn’t do that, I assume they simply never tried!

KEEP CLEAR!they sell flights they don't have and then try and blackmail you into paying more for another flight,which is cheaper elswhere never use the word' cancel' or you will get charged and don't hold your breath for the return of your money you'll have to fight for it

Please DO NOT use Opodo Please DO NOT use Opodo. they are deliberately evasive and unhelpful. Our flights were with Thomas Cook and were cancelled - we received no message from Opodo to say this was the case. When I called to check if the flights were ok- I was told everything was ok. It was only when I mentioned that I was worried that they were cancelled I was told 'oh, yes thats right, your flights are now invalid- you need to rebook'. We are now trying to get a letter from Opodo to say that they will not be issuing a refund. We need a letter to try to claim back from our credit card company, but Opodo will not give us the letter. They say they are waiting to hear back from Thomas Cook. Asked to speak to a supervisor - told we have to wait 50 mins. Left exasperated and extremely disappointed.

I cancelled my booking within the 7-hour free-cancellation period that my flight had when I realized I need a different flight plan. It's possible to do this online, even though Opodo says on some sites that you should call a hotline. Opodo refunded my money to the penny within 3 working days (only downside is that since my account is not in GBP I got screwed on the exchange rate, but that's my bank screwing me, not Opodo). One weird thing is that I still keep getting emails as if my booking was still confirmed and even when I log in to Opodo's site to manage my booking it still appears to be confirmed, only thing indicating a refund is that in the "Billing" section, the mentioned total is "Total: £0.00 Congrats! That's an amazing deal". Aside from this confusion, really good service.

Completely unprofessional, I will never use their services again and I will advise everyone to avoid them. They had cancelled my flight 2 months ago, they rebooked it for a different time and it was practically impossible to reach them to change it to something that suited my plans. I called them twice, every time the answer was, you will be contacted in 48hours to be assisted with a new ticket. I have complained about it and it has been 2 months of them ignoring me. The only way of communicating with them is through facebook messenger where the last 3 times I have been given the same answer: |wait for 24h to be "called/contacted". And of course " don't worry" which has absolutely 0 value in a B2C discussion. Please avoid them at all costs! Thanks, R
