Had a flight cancelled by the airline from Valencia to Lisbon under booking 10350634914 and to this day I'm battling to get my money back. Called numerous times, sent numerous emails including the CEO Dana and I am still waiting nearly a year later. Please AVOID this company AT ALL COSTS. They are ok if you don't have any issues with your travel but if something happens to your flight or holiday you won't get your money back. Their HQ is now based in Spain and no longer part of the ATOL Protection scheme leaving the UK consumer powerless. Check reviews and forums before booking. They seem to have 2 Trustpilot set of reviews now so PLEASE PLEASE check before booking your holiday.. This company is scamming customers. They keep blaming the airline for not passing the money to them, excusing themselves from the transaction. Please protect your mental health, family and your money. I will now be taking this to the small claims court.

The website is extremely slow and during the 15 minutes it took to confirm my flight, the price increased by 20% and they "invited" me to click "purchase" at the new price. I did - begrudgingly - and paid for the fare. I then received an email that read "Price drop for your flight" showing me a much lower price for the flight just booked followed a few minutes later by another email reading "Your booking is confirmed!" with the details of my reservation... Like this was not enough, I then received an email welcoming me to Opodo Prime - but the link in the email was broken... How low is the quality of the tech department? The next day I had to click through 8 consecutive screens to cancel the Opodo Prime subscription - and the US Congress is looking into Amazon Prime's cancellation policy which only 3 screens... I've rarely seen such a poorly organized company, let alone an online travel agent. Good luck using it.

Booked a ticket form Australia to NZ during Covid, when Au & NZ had a bubble happening. It shut soon after we booked it and or flight got cancelled. We got the email saying that the refund is on its way. Fast forward 2 years later (!?) and we just got the money back. We had to engage the lawyer to be successful at it. Cost us around $400 in lawyer’s fees but we have received ALL of our money back - around $2900. Spending $ on the lawyer definitely worth it! Do not bother calling them, they all say the same thing ‘we will escalate this case’ but nothing happens. They hope you will give up the money and so chasing them. Not me!!!

I didn t read opodo review before .. and bad luck for me as well .. opodo is like charging you for nothing and do ask for any help .. because they can only say .. take the prime option and you will see ...... well i saw nothing .. what i saw is that opodo is holding lots of not safe compagny .. like renting car ... i am still waiting for my refund .. and don t pay for the sit option or any flight option... the only ansewr you will have is a link to the flying compagny .. pfff runaway ..!!!!

This company is a scam. The problem is when I discovered they have automatically tricked to this Prime member take from me 69.99£ and when I tried to cancel this option the link was always corrupt. I wish to cancel this membership and my money back!!”

Be aware that OPODO are not authorised to sell Ryan Air flights. They also have stealth charges that they do not explain. We were charged £178 more than it would have cost direct with Ryan Air after paying £59.99 to join OPODO. We will never use them again.

This company is a scam. I booked my ticket here from Dubai to Japan viq connecting flights. But the Emirates Airline didnt let me board the plane as per them its not allowed to have transit in India via other airline. Tried to contact this company and email the complaint. But no one replied in my mail. Never again in this company. Such a waste of money for trustinf them. They are selling flights which is not possible, and dont care about passengers money. SCAM!!! They dont even deserve 1 star.

Not happy with service. Kept calling me a lier and refused to help me. All I want is my refund which the company is liable for as I received NO contact from them to inform me of flight changes.They lie to say they contacted me on my BIRTHDAY March 31st but this is NOT true. No contact was made and NO Email received. I am very upset with this company as they left me stranded in Kathmandu Nepal. I then had to pay another company to get home. I will never book with Opodo again. It even still says that the flight is leaving at 20:20hrs but it left at 18:00hrs! Proof in picture. Would NOT recommend using this company as they will take your money and mess you around just like they did to me and many others. 4 times they changed my flight to Nepal and not once did they tell me about the flight changes for my return flight. All they say is not liable for a refund as part of airline policy. They won't help you. Don't book with these people.

An automatic reservation was made from my card for a subscription, in the amount of €65, without warning me about it, and while they said it was free for a month, avoid it at all costs!😤🤮😤🤮

I rent a car in France using Opodo and paid fully in advanced. Opodo sent me the car hire voucher stating that the UK driving license is accepted in France without the need for an international driving license. When I arrived to France, the Europcar rejected to give me the car as they needed an international driving license. I showed them Opodo car hire voucher and called Opodo customer service which was not helpful at all. Ended up paying 82 £ bus fees to get to my address. Opodo promised to get back to me in 48 h then in 20 days and it has been a month without hearing from them. Please stay away of this company as you will lose your cash and you will not get the service you are aiming for. They ruined my whole trip and I'm considering to sue them soon.

Very poor!! had no clue that the airline I booked was not going to be the one I would be flying so I find out there are two different airlines with different baggage allowance which I still don't know if I have any carry on allowance at all, the itinerary on the app said air Transat but when I logged into Thier website the itinerary was different operator.l was told during booking I could add luggage after payment by going to manage my account on app but no I couldn't so I tried with airline but apparently I can't add any hold luggage as flying economy why wasn't I told this ? The help centre can't help either . However the airline were quite happy to allow me to pay to select our seats !

I booked flights with internet check in. Tried to check in before flight and couldn’t. Opodo said it was an issue with Ryanair. I couldn’t check in with Ryanair on line so had to do it at the airport. Ryanair charged us£55 per passenger, and blamed Opodo? Opodo then credited my account with £16 for not being able to check in online. I am £220 down and still have to go sort my return flights. I will never use Opodo again a total scam. Really dissapointed.

***DO NOT USE OPODO*** I booked two flights from an airport in Italy to an airport in Greece through Opodo on 3.7.23. The full amount of uk pounds was immediately taken from my account but I never received confirmation email with reference number. Ryanair never received any request from Opodo on my behalf to book tickets. Family members travelling have had to book/buy tickets directly through Ryanair to ensure travel. Opodo should refund the account that they took the payment from. DO NOT USE OPODO!

Avoid Opodo at all costs, especially their Prime membership. I am an Opodo Prime Member and booked 4 flights with BA through Opodo. BA cancelled the outbound flight on the night we were due to travel and waiting in the airport so my party had to travel from Heathrow to Stansted and travel with Ryanair to reach our destination. More cost, more inconvenience. I raised this with Opodo next day to get my refund who told me to contact BA. I contacted BA who told me to speak to Opodo. I am due a refund which should legally take 7 days, I'm then told it will take 30 days, I'm then told it will take 8 weeks and I'm then told it will take 10 days. Go figure. I have been told the refund has been requested but nobody can provide any evidence to this effect, all I have is an online chat and call agents telling me that is what they can see, but they can't tell me when it was requested, when it will be paid or how much the refund will be. Effectively, this is all a scam as the airline keep your money for as long as possible and Opodo renege on doing the decent thing which is refund their customer (me) whilst they seek the refund from the airline. However, they can't do this as apparently Opodo don't know how much BA will give them back. In short, what you pay is not necessarily what you get back. It's a pretty good scam. I also discovered that since Brexit, Opodo moved their HQ to Spain so they are free to operate with much lower standards now that they are no longer a UK based/owned company. Wish me luck getting anything back at this rate. Further to this, I have since booked other travel elsewhere due to my concerns with Opodo (once bitten twice shy) and I discovered that booking direct was much cheaper than the so called benefit of being with Opodo. Therefore, the Prime membership is more like a set of shackles and its makes things harder for you to resolve matters when things invariably go wrong. In short, look at the negative reviews on here for Opodo because I believe the majority of complaints are by decent people like me who paid a small amount for a premium service but actually got hoodwinked into a scam that not only leaves you out of pocket but also on your own when things take a turn for the worse. Come on Opodo, just do the decent thing and give me my refund on my flights.

One of the "ostensible cheaper" service. After booking I faced with extra "eDreams fee" which in addition was not refundable. And finally when the airline canceled one of my flight, had to wait half of year for a refund!
