I got scammed for 1200 EUR. Same stiry as everyones, don’t even have the energy to explain it in detail. They took my money, never confirmed the flight and no money back :) just wonderful

In short: the money was refunded by the airline but Opodo is blaming the airline (and lying to costumers) that it's because of Wizzair they cannot transfer the money back. More details below:  I booked two return tickets to a Wizzair flight through Opodo. The flight was cancelled and Opodo informed me: "The airline has cancelled your flight. As your travel agent we have requested a cash refund on your behalf." I said, that's a shame to have the flights cancelled but at least I will get my money back... Little did I know! This happened in July 2021..and the money is still not in! Of course, I spoke with their call center immediately after the cancelling about the refund and several times after (even sent an e-mail with all the details as they requested) and I was assured that the money will be transferred as "We are in phase "request pending airline authorisation", and it usually takes 3-6 months to get the airline/ Wizzair approval."  I checked with Wizzair and they confirmed the money have been transferred to Opodo on 31 September, 2021 (!!), and in fact Opodo has requested Wizz credits and not cash. ;) So..the money was refunded by the airline but Opodo is blaming the airline (and lying to costumers) that it's because of Wizzair they cannot transfer the money. The next step would be hire a lawyer as it's also about the money - 600 EUR, but also the ethics. P.S. Booking reference is 7340449217 in case anybody from Opodo is actually reading this. ;)

Same experience as everyone else, duped into a scam membership, I wish I'd read these reviews before booking my flight which got cancelled in 2 days, no help from that point in at all!!! They did pay my refund out took £59.99 membership 4 weeks later without my proper concent!

It is impossible to contact them by phone if you don't have a flight ref. They don't respond to emails either. The chat bot is infuriatingly limited. Avoid at all costs. They ought to be run in.

Bought flights through Opodo Hanoi to Phu Quoc return with Vietjet. When checking flights 2 weeks before departure, outbound flight was not what was on our confirmation. Contacted Opodo, told we would be refunded. Booked new flights direct with Bamboo (who were excellent). Then get an email stating we had to deal with Vietjet direct. Emails and phonecalls later and no response from Vietjet. Tried to cancel flights online, booking ref not accepted. Once in Vietnam, asked the hotel concierge to call Vietjet. Vietjet confirmed they only ever deal with the booker (Opodo). Do not deal with this fraudulent, morally bankrupt company. Look on Twitter at the 1000's of people they have stolen from. Facebook also has a dedicated group. Trustpilot reviews are misleading as if you don't verify your review it's removed. People, please verify. It is so important to stop this company stealing money from customers. The Edreams\Opodo shareholders report actually cites how the Trustpilot reviews were more positive. Incredible.

Still waiting for a flight refund for a cancelled flight to Sri Lanka in March 2020 . They continually fob you off and their customer service is appalling. They have basically stolen my money. Do not use this company under any circumstances.

PLEASE DON´T BUY WITH OPODO: NEVER The worst company to buy your ticket. I bought a ticket with OPODO, my flight was changed the day and when I requested a refund for it, they put me in looping in a chat for days, and after couple of days sent me message that is not possible to do refund without a reason. worst company, worst customer service, worst...

I used opodo to book a ticket for my company, i have requested my invoice 3 times in website and 1time in chatbot. No one reacted on this. Horrible experience.

I have bought a ticket through Opodo and while filling out the details the ticket price went up but also I have not received booking confirmation immediately which I found to be suspicious. When I went to check in the app it was showing "cancellation request under process". They took my money and cancelled my booking! and nowThe company is a scam , please STAY AWAY from it. I CANNOT understand why Kayak still retrieves results from Opodo considering thus company is a sham

why dont the banks put a stop to this obvious scam it is very clear that they have robbed so many people i am still waiting for my refund after 2 and a half years after airline cancelled my flights the airline paid opodo/edreams my refund yet opodo dont pay me it is just one big scam please banks block this scam company NOW JUST DO IT

It is not the fact, that the customer service bad is - he is not existing. A little error and our whole trip was canceled without refund. I can only warn against using this company. Except for a small deviation: nobody will help you, nobody will talk to you. However, your money will be collected on time.

I booked a car via OPODO at EUROPCAR, and I did not get a car and did not get a refund for a week prepayment (390 EUR). on 20th of September I have booked a car for a week and paid in advance 389.8 EUR. When I came to a register desk my driving license was not accepted and I did not get a car. Worth to mention that my driving license is accepted in other rental companies and I am driving in the country (Germany, Frankfurt) using that document. I had to order another rental car and pay extra. Rental company - EUROPCAR did cancel the order so OPODO was not charged. I asked OPODO for a refund and I was told that it is not possible and I need to open a case (02018814). It's been more than a month and I haven't receive the money and any onswer on my case. If I don't receive an answer, I am going to pass this to my lawyer and ask for refund and for compensation of my extra costs and stress.

Don't use this site it's a scam! Took my booking, paid for a fully flexible fare and then when I tried to change my return flight couldn't contact them and had to deal with the airline direct. Automatically subscribed to Prime and charged even though I did not consent to it and now cannot cancel as I never actually opened the Prime account!!

Didn’t receive confirmation email. Their app said it would check us in automatically. Got to the airport and was told by Ryanair our flight was booked by Opodo illegally, and had to pay £275 to board, and told we will have to pay £275 on the way back. Ryanair said Opodo scammed us so they could take our money; tricking us into thinking we had cheap flights with them. Apparently they have over 30 people a day with the same problem as us. Avoid Opodo!

Thats a joke of a website Automatically the subscribe u to Prime and charge 74.99€ eventhough you never consent to it and you can not cancel cos u never actually opened the Prime account- and thats the way u can cancel only!!! Thats a rip off and scam

I've wasted hours over the last seven days trying to get an invoice which shows how much each passenger in my Opodo booking has paid. I requested it through: (1) ticking the invoice box when I booked, (2) managing the booking account, (3) the chat robot, (4) the automated phone line, (5) chatting to human A, who asked me to wait 24 hours, (6) chatting to human B, who asked me to wait 4-5 hours, (7) chatting to human C, who asked me to wait 1-2 hours. None of these had any effect on receiving a basic receipt which I need by tomorrow, and which should have been sent to me by default. Pathetic service, and appalling customer support.

After being told by my airline my return flights had been cancelled. My request for a different flight still hasn't been sorted out even though its 6 days later. I would strongly recommend you don't use this company. They simply pay lip service to you. Nothing is done and I'm continually being told to wait another 24 hours. I wish I had seen these reviews before I bought my flights. Seriously I would not even give this company 1 star.

No tickets received, we was panicking all the way to the airport incase the booking was a scam. Then we were charged a membership fee we had no clue about. Total dishonest, disgrace of a company!

You charged my credit card and I never received the ticket reservation or any conformation code. You never answered my e-mails. There is not even a customer service that answers calls.
