Before you will paycheck price twice! Price before you add your card information is totally different comparing with the price after you add your information. It can be 50€ more expensive after. Be careful.

DO NOT USE DO NOT USE! If anything goes wrong with your booking, whether it's Opodo's fault or the Airline you are booked with. Opodo will lie, cheat and delay any refund that you are owed. You cannot speak to anyone other than their call centre, who will regurgitate the same lies and stalling tactics over and over again. I have been waiting on a refund for nearly two months from Opodo even though the Airline have refunded my money back to them. They are a scam of a company. AVOID AVOID AVOID

I was overcharged and they did not book the correct flight tickets for me. They were then extremely unhelpful on the phone, and wanted nothing to do with the issue. Thank goodness the airline were subsequently so understanding - but I have lost a lot of money and time. I have now been waiting (and chasing) for three weeks - and still no contact from them. I do not recommend this company.

AVOID they are scam - FRAUD I booked a flight with Opodo, they charge me more then showed in their website, had to change the dates, and they charged more, unfortunately I have to cancel my trip for personal reasons, and I asked them for the refund, they said they will refund me 80%, in 10 days, but they didn't I contact them lots of times, they tell different stories, each time I called I waited at least 40 minutes, their customer service is overseas, and they don't care, they don't have an email, or UK customer service, Honestly Opodo is the worst on earth, Avoid them, simply check their feedback here or search online, they are NIGHTMARE, I wish I have NEVER dealt with them. I am still trying to get my money back from them, :(

A warning to potential customers - practically impossible to get a refund! Have been trying to obtain one for a failed car hire booked via Opodo for 6 weeks now and they don't want to know! It's become a full-time job on my days off to get anybody in their customer service to take an interest. They just fob you off with standard responses and are the worst example of a call centre "nobody cares" practices. Avoid!

The most appalling customer service I have ever experienced, lack of communication between teams, and the agents on the phone do not listen, just merely recite whatever rubbish is on the script. I called because one of my flights was changed rather inconveniently to 24 hours later, i spoke to a lady who phoned the airline and told me that i could change the connecting flight free of charge so I wouldn't be waiting around for 26 hours- she then said I had to phone back to confirm this as she couldn't get through to the airport a second time. I called back another day and spoke to a man who did not listen at all and tried to charge me £360 to change the connecting flight- when they were the one to change the flight to begin with. One agent will tell you one thing and another will completely go back on that and tell you something completely different- avoid like the plague.

I am so stressed as I write this review I booked flights to Bali with Opodo and added their App and entered the passport details for online boarding cards The system took the info and then sent an email saying I needed to enter details their system is crap I re-entered the info and exactly the same happened So yesterday I rang them and after 40 minutes got through to someone who manually entered the details and I asked him to double check, he assured me all ok but the App is still saying passenger details outstanding It’s now 2 days before my flight and I have no idea if I’m going to receive boarding cards Just avoid them

I wish i had the option of giving zero stars. this is the worst service possible with no proper customer service. i made a complaint on 17th April and its been 3 months but i have still not heard back from anyone from their team. I have made numerous calls but the only reply I get is that we have escalated the case and you will get a call shortly, but no one bothers to call back. please do not use their services.

I will never ever use this site and I will tell every single human I know not to use this site, and everyone reading this comment. I use Opodo to save money form my 2 tickets but I ended up paying way more than I can get from the airline directly or from any local agency office. 1 the 2 ticket was for 200 each, when I pressed buy it gone up in 5 minutes to 217, and I had to pay $7 support to get a confirmation email, there was no instruction about the support and if you would get an email with no support service, plus they charged in gpd or so no other option was available so I had to pay a 3.5% rate to USF so I ended up paying instead of 400 I payed $480 so extra 80$ this never happened with Expedia and MEA this is the worst online ticket purchase experience I ever had. I used this site to save money not to pay more. the support is very very bad, there is no support only a robot answering.

NEVER BOOK WITH THEM, YOU'RE BETTER OFF BOOKING WITH THE AIRLINE DIRECT My experience with Opodo is a bad one, unfortunately. tl;dr book directly with the airline of your choice, don't go through Opodo. Not worth the worry, not worth the booking fees, not worth the wasted time/energy, not worth a one hour wait/phone call with their helpline. I'd bought tickets for my parents as a present, and upon purchasing them i found that it takes "up to 24 hours" to process my tickets. It rang alarm bells when after 24 hours, i still had NO confirmation on my tickets despite already having PAID for them! I phoned their helpline, and was on hold for 50 minutes! after a hurried conversation with the person, i basically was told to wait yet ANOTHER 24 hours for processing and confirmation. Here's where it gets fishy. The Opodo person told me to wait 24 hours, and if it's still processing, they'll release my tickets to me straight away. I asked how come they can't just release my tickets to me now, what's the difference between waiting 24 hours and having them processed now? He couldn't answer me and simply said "the process might be too confusing for you to understand" !!! How patronising! As expected, another 24 hours later (Mind you, it's now been 48 hours or more!) it still says "processing" on my booking (both on Opodo's website and mobile app). I phoned the airline directly and was told by the airline that even they wouldn't recommend Opodo. The airline person said that they would always discourage people from booking with Opodo because often times, Opodo will hoard all their bookings and release/process tickets in one go, not as and when they come in. This means that i would have had to wait at least a WEEK for my tickets without phoning to chase them! this is why so many people don't get their tickets if they book last minute and some don't get them at all! I phoned Opodo right after speaking to the airline, and they hurriedly released all my tickets. Why couldn't they have done this before?! i fly fairly frequently and i have never experienced this with any of my ticket bookings. They are always processed IMMEDIATELY. this is the first i've heard/experienced a booking that needed so long to process. It's ridiculous! My advice, and the airline's advice, is that instead of booking through Opodo, travellers should book directly with the airline of their choice. or just choose another service provider that's more reliable. It took me almost a week to sort my tickets out, had i booked with the airline, it would have taken me less than a day to get all my documents processed and ready to check in. thankfully i booked early. i feel horribly for all those who book with Opodo and don't get their tickets due to their "processing procedure" of accumulating bookings only to process them all at once, thus delaying everyone's ticket release. BAD experience, NEVER AGAIN! i checked the prices and it'd been the same if not cheaper if i booked directly with the airline because Opodo has hidden fees (admin fees, booking fees, etc.) PLUS the TWO HOURS i was on the phone to them needlessly added to my phone bill as well. They're not cheaper, and even if they were, it's really not worth the hassle!

Awful. I paid for baggage check-in, which they didn’t pass on to the airline and didn’t tell me, so I had to pay extra, and queue twice, at the airport. I rang Opodo immediately after I checked in the baggage and they admitted they had not been able to pass it on to the airline as it was a codeshare flight, and asked me to send them the receipt for the £45 I had just paid at the airport. What should have been a simple, immediate refund of £45 took constant chasing over 3 weeks - at least 8 calls, 8 emails, and most outrageously, for me to send them my bank statement to prove I hadn’t already received a refund from them. They jump straight to demanding bank statements before checking issues at their end - they said their first attempt at a refund had ‘been rejected’ from my bank (nope, I’ve no idea what this means either). Avoid at all costs.

Do not use Opodo! I booked flights & paid extra for ‘cancel for any reason’ insurance. Unfortunately I had to cancel the flight due to a change to cruise itinerary. That was the start of 3.5 weeks of chasing up to get the refund (they only refund 80% of the cost) my original email said they would refund within 7-10 days- it took 23 days & I have a huge phone bill as waited up to an hour each time to get through to someone. Will never use this company again.

Very bad customer service. Took me 5 calls from abroad until they picked up. Kept me waiting for 30 minutes on the phone. Charged me 100 pounds extra compared to the airlines to change my flight.

Booked a Hotel and Flight with Opodo but i booked the wrong week by mistake. I instantly called them within 10mins to asked to change the date. They said they wanted another £255 to change the flight which is twice as much as other websites so i canceled the flight but i only got a partial refund. He told me he could not cancel the Hotel and that he would send a email. After 3 days with over 10 calls to them they have turned round and advised the Hotel in non refundable even though it said free cancelations in 24hrs (see picture) They are refusing to accept this or refund. Lost £900 for a simple silly error that if id of gone elsewhere could of been fixed. Dont use them!

on 27, June 2019, I saw he price was show €280 something from NYC to LAX so I booked it. But when I looked the details on the flights non of them showed the price. So I thought, I wanted to try to see the price total before I confirmed purchase, but one I click purchase, it show me a confused bundle of insurance, and other add on with more charge. I try to take one and one of them automatic check for me and I can’t take it out. Then I click purchase, but I was confuse why €280 to way for two person was ended up over €890 plus €50 free. “Wtf” I was trying to fine the setting to change from € to $. The website didn’t have it! Then I tried to click purchase to see the summary page before confirmed my review, which I was hoping all about I didn’t tick mark add on stuffs would reduce the price. Well, the website went on charge my money more than €280 and €50 website free. What is a ripped off.

Booked and paid for a holiday in November and received confirmation then in June, 19 days before our holiday date received an email saying my flights had not been confirmed with airline. When I called Opodo I was told flights were cancelled and they wouldn’t transfer flights, I was expected to do it ( flights now triple price I’d originally paid). No one would return a call or email back although everyone promised to. After more than a week of waiting for a solution I agreed to refund but even with that I’ve to wait 10 days . Very poor service, customer service are polite but useless obviously just following a script. Definitely wouldn’t try again

1 Star is too good - DO NOT think about using them - they took my money for a return flight and without telling me that they decided they couldn't book the outward flight just the return flight - what use is that !!!! worse than that they charged admin fees for NOT doing it and 6 weeks later I haven't got a refund (less admin fees !!!) - not sure I will as I can't get anyone at Opodo to reply - I will NEVER NEVER NEVER use them again - CARE !!!!!

If i could give less than 1 star i would! I booked my flights to Vietnam through Opodo and it was the worst experience ever. My friend made a mistake when booking and missed a letter out of my name, i called opodo straight away who insisted on charging me £450.00 for my name to be spelt correctly, they said this had come direct from the airline. I spoke with Thai Airways direct who told me this was not the case and they had trouble like this all the time with Opodo. I tried telling Opodo that Thai airways said they could change the booking and all Opodo needed to do was charge me a admin fee of £50.00 This took five days and 16 phone calls, 5 live chats to try and fix, up to the day before i flew with Opodo still insisting on charging me £450.00. I did not speak to a single person at Opodo who actually understood me or spoke English - which was partly why this took so long. At one point i was charged £50.00 that i didn't agree to and the customer service guy actually tried to tell me i had just asked him to charge it!!!! I was continuously lied to and spoken to terribly by the guys there. I finally spoke to the only one helpful guy in 5 days and ended up putting me on a conference call with Thai air ways who had to tell them 6 times to not charge me £450.00 the agent at Thai airways ended up hanging up on Opodo out of frustration. Finally they charged me £80.00 admin fee and a i received my correct ticket. I then received over 35 emails in three days from Opodo with an email that just said 'please check in' every 5 minutes for the first three days of my holiday...i assume i received more than 35 but at that number i blocked them!! Absolutely disgusted with this company and after researching it would appear they try and scam people alot! PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM
