Booked two flights to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines via Opodo. I got to the end of the booking and discovered both seats had been booked in my name and no way to change the name. I called Opodo after emailing them and getting no response. The first call lasted almost an hour and when I spoke to someone he said he couldn't get through to the Airline to speak to them about changing the name so told me to call back. Second time I called they said they'd spoken to the airline but had to send an email and told me I needed to call back in 48 hours to find out what happened. Call 3, no response from airline or Opodo of any use. 4th call, the woman I spoke to just left me hanging until the call times out. 4 hours on the phone and nothing helpful! COMPLETELY USELESS!!!!

We have had terrible service from them. Spent hours trying to contact, find out our booking status, the promised help was not delivered, etc. Getting very close to departure date and no reassurance of flights. In fact, they were still being “processed”. In the end we booked directly with the (same) airline and got a much better deal. Best part was cancelling with them! Difficult to trust them again!

Shocking - they quote a fare on the basis of which you deal and then charge you a different price saying that this fare was only for OPODO PRIME members which they of course had not made amply clear

Please stay away from booking with Opodo & book direct. I would never have used them but having always used Sky Scanner was taken through to Opodo. Turned up to airport with confirmed seats etc from the Opodo app only to be told by airline that booking had been cancelled 8 months prior. I had no information regarding this or information that booking had been cancelled. Lost approx £950 (2 of us) and a night with friend that flew in from Australia who subsequently spent the night in Lisbon solo. Zero response, communication or acknowledgment from Opodo despite being on hold for over an hour on the morning of our flight explaining our situation. Were also told that they would check us in & contact the airline. Please, do not use & save yourself the hassle & disappointment.

I just booked a multi-city flight with Opodo yesterday and today got an mail that two of my flights cannot be confirmed and was asked to call them to solve the problem. however non of the phone numbers provided works and wherever I look, I cannot find a phone number or and mail to the customer service. Now I am afraid that I have to pay for new ticket. So stressful would not recommend

I WOULD NEVER EVER AGAIN USE OPODO!!! We've booked three tickets with Opodo and when all done, we've realise one of the names had an additional letter in it- we have called them again & again and still nothing got done, every time it took us around 40 minutes on the line and they asking us to call Pegasus airline again & again. When we call Pegasus, another 20 minutes on the line with Pegasus and they say they can't find any change of name by opodo and ask us to call Opodo again. Sold a flight that doesnt exist! I have booked previous flights over a number of years with Opodo so did not expect anything to go wrong. My daughter is in China and I booked her flights to travel from Dalian to Shanghai on Friday 9th August. Today she looked up the Shanghai arrivals to find her flight was no on it. After checking the airlines Website - they do not sell flights for the Friday am flight. Flightaware also shows it does not fly on a Friday. i rang Opodo and was told to ring back in 6 hours - they had apparently emailed the airline - I asked for a copy of this email but was told this was not possible as it was internal buisness. I rang back i was told it was a charter flight so that is why its not showing up. I asked where my daughter checked in, I was told the airport, i asked what airline I was told go to the airport. I asked for confirmation in an email - nothing was sent. I rang back and was told the flight was cancelled and Opodo didnt do refunds I'd have to sort it out with the airline. I was put on hold to speak to a supervisor and cut off. Concerned about the whole booking I rang the airline for my daughters return flight the airline reference Opodo gave was not one of their references. I rang opodo back again to be told it was all 100% confirmed and my daughter was to go to the airport. When i pointed out the airline didnt fly at that time and they had no knowledge of the booking the line went dead. Will update to let you all know what happens when my daughter turns up for her 100% fully confirmed flight in a couple of hours UPDATE Daughter turned up to the airport for her 100% fully confirmed flight, which as we suspected was 100% non existent. Opodo care to comment on this? Care to issue me with a full refund? UPDATE Sat 10th Aug. Informed a refund is being processed. I have to wait 10 days. UPDATE Sun 18th Aug Opodo relied to a twitter message sent 10 days previously stating they would be emailing the airline. They were supposed to have donethat after I made the first phonecall to them!!

Unreliable and Very Poor Customer Service- no way to get my refund!! I have been trying to get in touch with customer service for 5 hours regarding my car hire. There is no telephone number to contact and their online submission form has a technical error. Im very disappointed with my experience at the car company (Drivalia) that I booked through Opodo. I am also very disappointed that it took me hours attempting to contact Opodo car hire team and am still not able to get through. I arrived at the car company (Drivalia) today to pick up the car, and the lady at the desk took all of our information (myself and extra driver) and everything was fine. Then when the time came to the insurance policy she tried to persuade us to pay for Drivalia's insurance: she explained that their insurance policy is the only one that covers for their cars. The one that I purchased through your website will not cover for the car that I am about to hire. She was very pushy and rude when I explained that I already had insurance. I tried to contact Opodo for verification as I am under the impression, from Opodo website, that I am covered with the Axa Premium insurance that I bought! I was not willing to make a double payment, especially when Drivalia was asking me to pay £275.00 on top of what I had already paid! I contacted the number that Opodo provides online for customer service (0800026162), waited for 20+ minutes, they explained that I called the wrong number and provided me with the following number (+442039667739). Opodo customer service provided an incorrect number to ring for your car hire customer service. So, I called another number of Opodo customer service again (waited around 20 minutes) and they provided (+443333000291), this turns out to be incorrect for car rental customer service as well. So I rang the third time (waited around 20minute) and was given (+441618305687). The third number provided to me is also incorrect. I spent over an hour at Drivalia car rental and was not able to get an answer! The lady at the desk was intolerable and pushing me to buy their insurance, Opodo team was impossible to contact and this is not a car hire service that I am going to pay for. I booked another car through one of Opodo's competitors and got my car without trouble. To add, I tried to send Opodo an online report of my experience and requested for a full refund so many time but keep on getting a technical error. Opodo should really improve their service! Hence, my experience with Opodo's product as well as your customer service is horrible. I would like an answer as to why they are selling useless insurance, why they cannot be easily contacted and a full repayment of the amount that I have paid so far for the car rental as well as insurance. Do not use these SCAMMERS!!!! Absolute awful experience that left us £440 out of pocket. Not only did they not have the flights available that they took our money for they did not communicate this. After 2 days of pestering and hours waiting on the phone we found out that they had no flights available and couldn't provide an alternative. Do not use these cowboys please for your own sake - hopefully they will be shut down or go bust soon.

IN 2019 : CAN'T ADD EXTRA LUGGAGE ONLINE :) - BAD SERVICE - AVOID THIS COMPANY I have booked a flight from Brussels Airport Zaventem to Tunis Enfida. A booking for 2 persons. Very simple 2:30 hours flight, direct. We made a reservation only with hand luggage and we want to add an extra luggage of 25 kg. Again very simple request. All companies and airline booking websites offers that. But apparently not OPODO. I called them, first they said I have to call directly the airline company. The airline company told me that we have to get back to them. So I was talking to the OPODO operator on phone and asked her to send me an email saying that opodo cannot deliver this service and she was telling me that she sent the email and I didn't want to hang up until I see the email in my box and I waited for 15min on the phone, and no email received. After a while she hang up, and I figured out that she wanted me to hang up the first to escape the report at the end of the call where they get your opinion. Until now, no news how to add an extra luggage. Thanks OPODO. First time and last time.

Absolutely disgraceful service. I booked flights from East Midlands to Malaga via TUI on Opodo link via google. Price was £230 for 2 tickets. After 3 days passing I still hadn’t received email confirmation so I contacted them multiple times, the language barrier is appalling. I could really understand what was going on, they deducted the money from my account. I finally got through to someone who could speak English a little better and he informed me that the flight was fully booked and he would look for an alternative. Another day passed and I received an email with a different flight the same day just a few hours later, in which they would charge no extra cost for. So I agreed, waited for confirmation again and nothing. So again I called and they informed me the price had gone up and wanted an additional £491!! Bearing in mind the same flight was only £330 on the airlines website. So they wanted £720 for £330 flights. They are just scammers. Avoid at all costs!!!

Booked a flight with this "agent". About 4 hours later received an email that the price had increased and I needed to call if I wanted to go ahead with the booking. The phone number provided was incorrect and I searched through the site for contact info to no avail. I tried dialling the number by dropping the "2" (for Australia) so the number actually is: 9199 5336. I was told that in order to confirm the booking I needed to pay an additional $13 AUD as flight prices had increased during processing which can take 24 hours. It would then take another 24 hours after making the additional payment to confirm the booking, during which time the price could increase further! After waiting a further 24 hours and checking my booking status online, it still indicated that the booking was being processed and not confirmed. In the meantime, I was receiving emails from Opodo suggesting that I could check in now and asking if I needed to add an extra bag for my flight so it seemed that all was confirmed but I was not sure. I called Opodo again (overseas customer service with poor English communication) and was told that my flight had not been confirmed as I had cancelled it and requested a refund. I confirmed that I absolutely had done no such thing and needed confirmation of my booking asap. I was placed on hold for ages and was then told that the airline was fully booked! While on the phone I looked at flights on Skyscanner and could see they were still available. I told this to the agent, not that I wanted to proceed anyway given the ridiculousness of it all, but she was uninterested and told me that the flight was fully booked, end of story, and she would initiate a refund. I immediately successfully booked the flights with Expedia (although in the meantime the price had increased by $100 due to having to wait 48 hours). The most unprofessional, dodgy and untrustworthy travel service I have ever used. Its really not worth the savings of about $40 or so to go with them as I've spent hours of my time resolving this. Still waiting on the refund, which I am told will take 10 days.STAY AWAY! Go with a trusted agent with better ratings.

I don't usually write reviews, however I need to vent a little frustration after trying to deal with Opodo. Ironically I actual checked out a couple of reviews prior to booking and they seemed ok. Clicked on the website and booked return flights from Tenerife, booked flights no problem for 4 people, confirmation email with booking reference promptly followed. All good, email landed 4 days later to tell me that unfortunately my booking had "failed"? although they will offer me an alternative flight at no extra cost or charge to me, great I contacted customer services to get conformation of our alternative flights. " yes no problem sire, new cost will be an additional £595, no sorry I say, my email states alternative flight at no extra cost. Ah no sorry sir this was only available on the day we sent you the email????? What an absolute disgrace of a company, they are completely miss selling products and then ripping customers off when they try to resolve issues. A complete lawless rouge company, fraud at its best, avoid at all costs, Europe's largest and most despicable travel agent!!!

super sketchy, went on there website since it stated you can get exclusive deals if you book through the phone. the flight price to corfu when I wanted to go was averaging £150 to £200. I called up and a guy called abishek tried to rip me off. saying the cheapest ticket is £500. and being super adamant. I understand why this company is doing this trying to rip off people who don't know how to use a computer. avoid this company super sketchy!!!!

Opodo is really bad company to book flights. No customer service, I was on the phone for over 2 hours each time try to get help, witch they made mistakes in first place. I have to pay additional £160 more to issue me tickets because they have cancelled my original ticket with out Notify me! Please don’t use this company end up will cost you lots more and no where get help😡😡😡😡😡😡

I paid 55 pounds for a booking. A small amount of it was to ensure I get a refund which i then requested. I eventually was told I can get 25 pounds but this was during a phone call that cost me 6 pounds. So, so far I'm getting 19 pounds back but I haven't received it so I have to contact them again. I can only get talking to a bot and it only tells me how much I've been refunded and when the refund was issued so I'll probably have to ring again so it'll be 13 pounds I will have gotten back. The man on the phone obviously was dragging out the phonecall. Honestly, do not book with this company.

Really poor service , booked the flights 3 days ago, not confirmed yet. Called the help line no answer for 45 mins twice. And now I got them on phone India based call centre , spoke to maneeski , requested to speak to the supervisor kept on hold for 20 mins before disconnecting the phone call.i am really stressed The hotel room is confirmed non refundable and no flight confirmation. I will not recommend anyone to go this pathetic website.

I strongly recommend staying away from this company!! Not only that they have stolen my money and given me no car, but their customer support is really the lowest I have ever seen! I rented a car from them in Glasgo, when I got there the car rental place was quite a long way from the airport and they had no car for me because I arrived 1 day later. So yes that is my fault, but I have rented the car for 7 days and it was fully paid!!! I asked them to give me another car they did not want to, and I ask to at least give me a discount on renting another one, not even the smallest intention from the customer service people over the phone to try to help. Basically, they were looking foreword to just cash that money from me, as the rental company has already rented the car to someone else, so they make more money like this. If you want a company that just looks for reasons to pull money out of your pocket and devalue you as a customer go ahead! You may pick your cart in time, but I am sure they find other reasons to be as they are. After that, I had a high standard customer service with renacar.com, who were very kind to help me find a car and even refunded me the price of a car that I have booked without reading that they do not rent cars with people that have penalty points on the license, Their customer support staff were very nice and respectful and ran the extra mile to find me a company that will rent me a car. I didn't mind paying double the price as I have got what I needed and I have been treated with respect!!!!

I did my booking and didn't get the confirmation then I booked another flight with a higher price because they want me to wait 24 hours and I don't know whether they will confirm the booking or not I called them and they let me hold on line 55 minutes. Don't recommend if there is 0 star I will rate 0
