I submitted 2 claims to this co. they were both denied. the first claim was for an alternator and was for about 4000.00. They claimed the car was 36 miles from getting out of the "pre existing zone which they considered a "pre existing condition and therefore they would not pay.
the 2nd claim was for a transmission because the "check engine" kept coming on. this claim was for over6000.00. They refused to pay this claim because the transmission fluid was not changed according to the manufacturers recommendation was not followed. This car doesn't even have a dipstick to check fluid level in the transmission. Their booklet they send you when you signup is mostly a collection of ways for them to avoid paying claims. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST.”
“The commercials are misleading. Who in the world would pay $4300 for a brake repair ? I could replace my entire braking system for $2300, but the whole system would never go out. My parents got the program, waited 6 months to file a claim, they never received their $$. Always a runaround.”

“Oxcare's contract covers two Oil changes per year. On my first oil change, I mailed in the receipt, and they never received it. So, I called and they said to email it in the future which I did and got my refund. My next oil change, which was seven months later, I again emailed the receipt to claims but never got my refund, When I called, they said they will not refund the oil change and that I should have paid the shop directly and called them right then, This IS NOT what they told me to do. They should honor this because it was their mistake. Their customer service is TERRIBLE. They have poor communication with their customers”
“I signed up for an extended warranty with Ox car care on July 11, 2022. I was told by a supervisor that I would be charged $49 a deposit. On the website it clearly says "30 DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE". I called on July 18, 2022 to cancel the policy and was told that $49 is a processing fee and not a deposit so it's none refundable. I asked, why was I told something different when I signed up? I was told BY A SUPERVISOR, "I don't know, that's not my problem." The customer serious is horrible to say the least. I literally called 5 times just to have them ask repeatedly, "why did you sign up if you were going to cancel the policy?" That question is rude and invasive as if people don't or can't change their mind. I just want this policy canceled and my money refunded. It shouldn't be this hard to get my money back for something that I never used. This place is a scam. Stay FAR FAR FAR AWAY FROM HERE.”
“I was told I could cancel any time. Need to pay $49.00 and call any time during 30 days trail to cancel. I call in 5 days to cancel and was treated like dirt. They wanted to know why I wanted to cancel. I told them it was more money than I could afford. They told me that wasn't a reason to cancel. This has been going on for almost two months. They will not cancel. Then They told me They would cancel. I asked for a confirmation number and was told they didn't give a confirmation. “The company does NOT pay out any claims. I tried to file one a year after paying them every month on time. They are not ethical and even after cancelling, they will continue to bill your account. When I called to cancel the person on the other end argued with me for 30 minutes. Then said I had to mail in some form. Which I did certified mail of course. Well surprise they are still billing my account.”

“They are ABSOLUTE liars,. I purchased a warranty through them and I paid 49.00 and then feb-may paid 235.00. My 2003 for explorer broke down and had to be towed, my mechanic called them and it took over two weeks for them to call them back. Either had to leave a message, which they never returned or the claims person was never in. Called them and told them I wanted a FULL refund ( I didn't want to hear about their 30 day policy), then they had the nerve to ask for a year history of where we took our vehicle and told our mechanic they had to send an inspector down to exam our car. The people in their commercials and reviews are all LIARS. I have called numerous times about my refund and emailed numerous times about it, NEVER heard from them.
They are ABSOLUTE scammers.
Worst experience ever, they do not hold their end of the contract up, they didn't for us, nothing was covered for our vehicle and we had one of their best warranties, so they say, yeah right,. That's why I want a full refund because they had no problem taking my money, but they NEVER provided any kind of service to me or even offer to help me get my car fixed, in fact they were VERY rude.”
