“Take this as a serious warning DO NOT USE ParcelCompare.
Shipped a pack of laminate flooring with them in an unopened box. Wrapped in several layers of plastic. Then wrapped in thick brown paper.
Parcel turned up a week late, brown paper and plastic removed and original boxing opened with the boards hanging out and damaged.
Apparently the manufacturers packaging that the product ships around the world in is not sufficient even though it was a triple walled cardboard that was shrink wrapped. And our additional packaging was not enough.
They are a bunch of inept time wasters. I am sure the package was left in a depot for some time, someone opened it to check what was in then re-attached the original shipping label.
I know it was the original label as it still has chunks of the brown paper and plastic wrap that was originally on the parcel.
Do not use them. I know everyone has issues at the moment but for a delivery to take seven days and be totally destroyed without any ownership.
Avoid them at all costs I have passed a warning on to everybody I know.”

“my parcel to spain containing small birthday gifts for my 4 year ld grandson, including a hand knitted sweater that took me a month to make, never arrived and cannot be found. I was sent a claim form but as I have no receipts for the small items or for the wool I used for the sweater they will not honour the claim. Nor have they offered to refund what i paid them to deliver. This is really horrible.”

I regret not reading the reviews before sending my parcel off. It was a parcel worth £130 and I have no idea where it is. It was due for next day delivery after being collected but it did not go to the buyer and its been over 2 weeks! I emailed them and they have not got back to me after I sent a description of my item. I am so annoyed!!!!!

E-mailed customer service which 'Peter Edwards' replies with the same automated splurge each time. Horrible service which I will NEVER use again. AVOID at all costs. “Parcelcompare certainly don't seem to care. They gave a delivery date of 23 April, their courier delivered on 28 April. The tracking was useless, never up to date, impossible to speak to customer services. A useless reply from their customer services basically giving no reasons for delay. Fedex, which they used, said it was in their contract that they could not speak to me about delivery. They cannot use Coronavirus as an excuse because they gave me the delivery date, and I might have accepted a longer delivery time had they given an honest delivery date. The tracking was so vague as to be useless. I had taken their word on delivery date and told my customer when to expect the small package. I was lucky he did not cancel order. I would have been better going direct to a courier so be warned.”
“The most appalling company ever. Paid £39. 2 failed collections and then was told to cancel my booking and pay £6. Making a formal complaint and going to trading standards”
“Absolutely useless, I feel ripped off. I've paid almost £20 for collection one little parcel from home, but no attempt made although I've waited home all day. When I asked, where's problem, they sent me link for rebooking. I was willing to take the parcel to the collection point (although I've paid about £3 for collection from home), but it was closed due the current coronavirus situation.
When I wanted rebook the collection, there was another fee £10.60!!! After many useless emails between me and their 'customer service' I've decided to cancel the transaction. I've lost £10.60 (cancellation fee!!!!) and week of my life.
Horrible service, don't use it!!!

“Appalling service.The service I bought was not carried out. The goods were picked up and brought back to the collection address. I was given a partial refund as they insisted it was my fault as the correct paperwork was not with the consignment. This was not true, the carrier had incorrectly valued the goods and not told us extra paperwork was required. Despite this, the goods were taken and brought back which took a week. We were then refunded minus what Parcel Compare decided we owed for the collection that should not have been carried out. The goods were then only partly delivered back and after a week of requesting the proof of delivery or insurance details we still have neither. Appalling service. There are so many other similar companies that provide a much better service.”
“Avoid at all costs, they don’t deserve 1 star. Two failed collections, they insist a driver called but we were out - rubbish, we were in all day. Wanted to cancel but informed I would be charged a £6 cancellation fee for their failings. Great scam that. As the postage charge was £134 I decided to lose £6. They need investigating!”

They are the worst company I have dealt with in 30 years, liars, had paypal dispute with them and they doctored the e-mails before uploading to the dispute portal. “Arranged uplift to ensure shipment would arrive in Spain when we would be there to receive it but in spite of repeatedly informing Parcel Compare that we were returning to UK on a specific date the carrier attempted delivery on that date. We then had to prevail upon friends to wait in to accept delivery and to store the items until we returned . In addition , in spite of the fact that according to Parcel Compare all carriers utilises digital scanner to check weights and volume, we were not made aware that our shipment exceeded our estimate of volume when it was picked up which would have enabled us to decide whether we wanted to pay Ann additional £30”
