“They are terrible. They do not knock or ring the bell just leave a we missed you card. I paid for next day I had to chase the van to get my delivery and when I asked him when he was planning to deliver the parcel he said a day or two later even.”
“Three times in three weeks the same driver has lied about trying to deliver Parcels to me. On Monday he was due to pick up a parcel from me. At 4;21 he said he’d tried but no answer. I was tracking him on the app, he was 10 miles away. I had to take it to the depot.
On Thursday the same driver reported he couldn’t find the address. Didn’t he claim he’d, been here on Monday? Checked the app and he was 8 miles away parked in a lay-by. So another lie.
Spoke to customer services and they apologised and said they’d get the manager to phone. You guessed it, no call. Proberly couldn’t locate a phone.
Still haven’t got delivery and I’ll wait until it is returned to sender and get a refund.
Avoid Parcelforce if you can, and particularly the Coventry depot.”
“They should be ashamed. We believe they never even attempted to deliver as we never received a "we missed you card". They didn't even bother to send it to the local post office when I arranged it online.”
“Yet another 1 star review.
I was told the parcel would come today at a time I could not be here. I was given the option of having it delivered to a neighbour. I wanted to tell them to leave it at the porters' lodge (plenty of people in London live in blocks with a porters' lodge) but that's not an option. So I tried "leave with a neighbour". assuming that would then tell ask me which neighbour and I could explain I wanted it to go to the porters' lodge but, no! It didn't want to know which neighbour. Goodness me, doesn't it occur to them that some neighbours might be more friendly/reliable than others? A good hour on the phone (they make it VERY difficult to talk to anyone) and someone agreed to text the deliverer But it didn't do any good. I was told I could leave feedback but I wouldn't actually be allowed to say anything - just answer whatever questions they wanted to ask - so I didn't bother. I don't think they're interested. Why do companies use Parcelforce?”
“I would happily spend days telling people to avoid this dire company with dire service! Always late, unreliable! Beyond bad, I'm not going to order from a shoo cos they use you! Still waiting on parcel supposed to be delivered last Thursday!! 0/10”
“Held my parcel for 3 months, never sent me a letter or contacted me to inform of customs charges due, damaged my parcel and it was returned to sender. Now it's lost. £100 worth of goods. Now it's 'out of their hands' and they won't reimburse me. Parcel force more like parcel fools. I will go out of my way to avoid using their 'service' at all costs in the future.”
“Don't bother making a claim, practically everything is excluded (read the small print) and the chance of you being re-imbursed after your parcel has been given a good kicking is practically zero as I've found from experience on two occasions”
“booked parcel force delivery for a 20kg parcel, said there was a local post office drop off point but when walking over there I was informed it was shut.
Went the next day and was told by another staff member that they wouldn’t take my parcel. Even after explaining the situation and why I wasn’t told the previous day they made excuses and argued with me instead of being helpful or offering a solution. 2nd time I had to carry a heavy box home when I suffer with asthma.
If post office and parcel force read this review please update your opening hours and state whether a drop off point has restrictions like a certain size parcel! Give training to staff so they don’t waste your time, or offer solutions rather than headaches and potential collapse from lack of oxygen after lugging a heavy parcel home twice.
I know I won’t be using or recommending Royal Mail or Parcel force.”
“dont understand how they still alive and still operating, i sent 4 items, 3 out of 4 came destroyed, thats 75% of items destroyed, im impressed honestly, they that bad that is next level..., i sent like 200 parcels between evri and dpd and only 1 has dissapeared and thats it, i dont know what they do with the parcels throw from second floor to the ground??.. might be, as my parcels are very well packed, contains fragile tape all around and by small throws no way anything might be affected, im dissapointed, angry and i really hope they bankrupt and people wouldnt use them, its a shame companies like that operate in UK..”
“I live in a big pub and the driver parked outside and couldn't see the pub. Unbelievable worse than Hermes/Evri. At least they could find the address.”
“Express 24 purchased last Weds. Tracking useless and the item delivered the following Monday in a terrible state. That’s 5 days, not 24 hours. Disgraceful. They blamed it on an incomplete address which was totally inaccurate on their part. They just completely screwed up. I will not be using ever again.”
“SENT PARCEL VIA PARCEL FORCE ARRIVED DAMAGED THEIR INSURANCE COVER IS NOT WORTH THE PAPER ITS WRITTEN ON .I WAS TOLD THEY ARE CALLED PARCEL FARCE BY MANY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMERS WHEN I SAID I WAS GOING TO CLAIM NOW I KNOW WHY .I WONT HAVE THIS PROBLEM AGAIN AS I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN”
“Paid premium for collection and delivery.
Spent whole day waiting for collection.. no attempt made by Parcel force
Still no collection 24hr later. Call help desk for assistance.. was told i can drop it at post office (but I've paid for it to be collected for that very reason.. to be collected).
They said they can't promise it will be collected today either.. but the next day probably (that would be 48hrs after it was supposed to be collected)
Zero notification of non attendance or delays.. no attempt to apease customer.. just go to a post office JOKE.
Ps. Their service cost almost £20 for a small parcel.. they were quick enough to take the cash, just not the parcel. AVOID”
“i knew i should not have sent anything with them, worse worse worse, i have ebay shop and sell alot of items and first time ised and here we have broken item (glass) panel heater, i asked for compensation they just say they cant give me any compensation as its an excluded item being glass, so is that means that they can be breaking glasses all the time and never pay for it and have no responsability?? im shocked, item costs £131, i bought with them as it said compensation up to £100 but not only that i paid alot for the delivery, i hope no one ever uses them”
