“waited all day for a delivery then at 1800 app said that the parcel had been returned to depot "problems finding address" only been here 25 years absolute joke. when courier services take over and the employees whine that "Foreigners have pinched our jobs" we will know the reason why.....”
“I paid for next day delivery for a package from B&Q in London. I waited all morning for my package and at 1pm. I got a text message saying that they attempted to delivery my package. This is false because I didn't move from my apartment, not even for 5 seconds and my intercom is working perfectly fine. I contacted customer service immediately. They said they would call me back. They never called back. I called again. they said they would tell the driver to come again. I waited and waited. The driver never arrived. I called again... and they told me that the driver went to the address 3 times. I am afraid that the driver is simply incompetent and couldn't find the right address. This company made me wait an entire day waiting for a package that never arrived. Customer service on the phone was not helpful.”
“Im extremely unhappy with the service they provide. The parcel was late one day and now I have to reschedule the whole thing. Because I can’t trust them with the dates anymore I decided to reschedule to my work and now have to wait 3-4 days, because it’s a different zone of the city. What a horrible day experience... Don’t recommend you this company If you work on time schedule.”
“Parcel was smashed to pieces. Was extremely well packaged covered in bubblewrap n foam inside too. Also had fragile labels all over. Irreplaceable item. Refund refused!”
“This has got to be the worst delivery company I have ever had dealings with missed a delivery waited the next day for re delivery they said they hadn’t so phoned them they said someone would ring me within an hour 2 hours later I rang again to be told someone would ring me within an hour I am still waiting”
“i use/used Parcelforce every day for our manufacturing business, over a month ago now they lost a parcel that the goods took us two weeks to make and cost us the wages of the staff member for two weeks and they say it is at there depot somewhere lost. we have it insured for £100 not enough to cover the parcel but we did not expect it to get lost so this seemed good enough at the time NOT THAT IT WOULD HAVE MATTERED ANYWAY!
so to cut this long story short its now 7 weeks later and we have used Resolver to help because they just ignore you on their website claims,
they only reply you have to send them proof of the value a screen shot from Ebay or a receipt? this is after we have said at least 3 times we made the PARTS!
and then we are told ok well how much profit did we make on the job!?? WHY? we insured it for a lot less than it cost us and you have admitted losing it but you say we are not entitled to the £100 because you take any profit we made out of this claim! so i have been told by the managing director this.
Parcelforce will instead consider a compensation payment of the sales price less 20%
so yes basically it don't matter what you insure the goods for because if like they have lost it and you cannot prove the value they don't accept a copy of the invoice to your customer, this is not acceptable evidence for them, so don't waste time they fob you off for as long as possible go straight to Resolver and you will feel less stressed and actually start getting somewhere. even if you have now had to pay that staff member for another 2 weeks to remake the parts and the cost of material you have had to replace and then that's ignoring the fact your customer is really cheesed of that his parts are late. but yes please take off any profit i may have MADE!”

BEWARE OF PARCELFORCE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
I have been a customer of Parcelforce for over 40 years and took my item a heavy exterior sign to the local Post office and it was accepted and insured as a valid item. I had looked at an excluded items link on the Parcel Force site and the item was not on the list. My item got delivered over two days late and smashed to bits despite having foam each side and securely packed.
I put two claims in, one for late delivery and one for total loss damage £150. Parcel Force then produced yet another link of uninsured items which is so huge it almost infringes the trades descriptions act of Parcelforce being a carrier. They refused to pay the damage claim and had the cheek to close off the two day late delivery claim as well. I reopened both claims and the late payment one was settled, the damage one after long wrangle they refused to pay. Below is the final response from the managing director's office which basically says we are an unregulated company so go away there's nothing you can do.
They know full well that if we stuck to the limited list of items they will take and insure they would not have a business hence why at the local Post Ofiice they take everything for money. They are a law unto themselves so AVOID AT ALL COSTS but if you have issues then this is the CEO email address so don't bother with their complaints portal which is useless keeps freezing and crashing just go to the top.
This was the extract from Mr Simpson's office !

“Only gave 1 star as zero wasn’t an option. Parcel supposed to be delivered by Parcelforce Friday then told Saturday but no parcel now Monday. Parcelforce obviously think people can just sit around waiting for their parcels. I seriously don’t know why businesses choose Parcelforce for their deliveries, they are useless.”
“The poorest, most unreliable service there is in the UK!
I live in France, and I'm currently with my husband doing an expensive IVF treatment locally. As I was running out of one of the medications (and it was not available in France) I ordered it from the UK and payed ParcelForce the premium service of "next day delivery" for which I had to pay £90.
The package never arrived, this ruined my fertility treatment (which costs +£6.000 !) as I couldn't stop having this medication. In addition there was not even one single communication from ParcelForce on the progress of the delivery and especially on any issues or delays with it.
I then contacted them by the live chat, the lady just said I'm really sorry, we don't know what happened, you might need to wait other 3 days to receive the parcel (That would be standard delivery, not the premium £90 one that they promise and I payed for fast delivery)
Unbelievable and really sad for us.... the very worst delivery service in the UK. A complete abuse to customers (especially for those like me that use it for medical purposes) - I will never use ParcelForce again.”

“i have used parcel force for my business not bad service BUT send a parcel as normal and not indicate large and you will be charged a ridiculous £44.50 plus vat as a surcharge with out them telling you, they let me do this on 21 occasions just rubbed there hands and took it, am taking this further , SO BEWARE OF THESE ROBBERS”
“Parcelforce really need to employ a competent IT team. The website and tracking facilities are atrocious. You also need to include a zero star option so us, you customers, can really tell you how we feel.”
“Useless service - would advise businesses and customers not to use. If a business use this service I will be going else where. FedEx and DPD are so much more better and accurate. I will never as a customer use ParcelForce - Royal Mail should be shameful.”
“Parcelforce are a joke i was suppose to receive my parcel next day im now on day 3 and still waiting no 1 can tell you anything when you ring only lie to you DO NOT USE PARCELFORCE. I gave them 1 star because i had to rate them to write this but they dont deserve even 1 star they are a joke”
“Useless. JG7707840.arrived 3.5 hours late. Item was damaged beyond repair with impact marks to packaging. Uncaring staff. This outfit is not a patch on DHL or DPD. Parcelforce has awful reviews for a reason. In need of urgent reform. Do not use.”
“I was emailed to say that my parcel was to be to be delivered today but missed the delivery as I had to be away from home this morning. A card was left stating that it would be delivered the next working day.(Three days hence as it is Friday.) The email gave me no indication of how to track the parcel, or an option to have it left in a safe place, which I would have done. I left a signed and dated card taped to my door asking that the parcel be left in a safe place, and accepting full responsibility, but this was ignored. I tried to access the Parcel Force website, but that didn't work, so I'm not even going to attempt to 'phone them. I will never again purchase goods from companies who use this carrier; I recomend DPD who are effecient and always give you options to chose delivery preferences.”
“Apparently the drivers at parcelforce cannot locate an address like normal people do, clear as day on google maps but no, parcelforce cannot find it. Absolutely ridiculous! No way to get hold of the driver either and they make no attempt to contact you if they can't find the address. So I have no card left with details of how to get the package. Thanks parcelforce for your substandard service once again.”
