“Just an awful company who cannot fulfil their orders. If somebody books next day delivery, why 3 days later has it no been delivered?
For clarification, order placed Monday morning, collected the same day by PF. Yet here I am, being told it'll be with me by Saturday - this is a time sensitive order, if it doesn't arrive by Saturday, I'm in big trouble.”

“Got a text saying your parcel was on its way at 8 o'clock at 8.10 receive a text saying it been delivered but no one was in when I checked the tracking code the van was at piccadilly in Manchester nowhere near my house then everything dissappear saying tracking had stopped and to ring a number to be told it be now tomorrow this company is a joke and waist your time waiting and no one showing up and presented to say they have been when they haven't and on the other side of town”
“I received a text from Parcelforce saying a parcel would delivered today , I told my daughter who was receiving the parcel to expect it. She said she would be in all day, then another text from parcelforce saying an attempt to deliver said parcel had failed and they had left a card. My daughter checked on her video doorbell. No parcelforce van had turned up and no card was left. Another text later from parcel force said they have left it at a post office and to get it yourself. The parcel force driver hadn’t even bothered to go to her address , I am divested 😡”
“This is possibly the worst courier I have ever dealt with. I have a particular issue that means I buy online and have things delivered. I have always been this way, even pre-covid or pre-amazon. I ordered an item from Germany and it was sent via DHL. When it arrived in the UK 2 days later my heart sank to find it had been handed over to parcel force. My parcel has been sitting with them for 3 weeks without a delivery attempt. they say it is with customs having import duty calculated but I have had no correspondence from them, I only know this because I have chased them 7 times in 3 weeks for an update. I am not even sure they know what is going on or where my parcel is as all I get is apologies and no parcel. I am still waiting for Parcel Force to contact me and let me know how much I need to pay in import duty (I have already calculated this, it is not difficult) and when they will deliver the parcel I paid for over three weeks ago. I have not experienced this with any of the other commercial couriers and it just makes Parcel Force and the UK look incompetent. I have avoided them since a bad experience some years ago and would avoid them at all costs in the future.”
“Terrible service. The delivery person wasn’t even at our home, but I received a message saying he missed me, even though I was at home. I called straight away (it was Wednesday), and the lady on the phone said she arranged a re-delivery for tomorrow.
On Thursday, I received a leaflet through my letterbox stating that my parcel was at the post office. I called again, and another lady apologized and said she arranged a re-delivery for tomorrow (Friday).
On Friday, I received a message that my parcel was at the post office. I called again, and another lady explained that the representative on Wednesday never arranged a re-delivery; she arranged for me to collect it from the post office. However, the lady on Thursday did arrange a re-delivery, and I was told I would receive my parcel within the next five working days.
The following Friday, I still had no parcel, so I called again. The parcel was still at the post office! The lady on the phone could not explain why and just kept apologizing whenever I asked what happened. She said she would mark my case as high priority, but there’s no chance it will be delivered next week.
I will never use this company again!”
“Every time ParcelForce has a delivery for me I instead get a ‘You were not in’ card, despite the fact that I have a Ring doorbell and can see them. They don’t ring the doorbell, they just post the card into my letterbox and scuttle off. Every. Single. Time.”
“2 weeks ago parcelforce tried to deliver without notification so wasn't home, so booked to pay £12 for Saturday delivery and then they tried delivery the next day, obviously not home so they left a card to say I had to collect from Bristol Depo, I spoke to customer service and received parcel on the Saturday.
TODAY 19/11/24 Had notification to say I will receive parcel between 4.51pm and 5.51pm IT IS NOW 19.42 PM AND NO PARCEL.
This has been a VERY STRESSFUL EXPERIENCE.
I DON'T feel i will be wanting PARCELFORCE to deliver for myself in future.”
“After purchasing 2 items from separate websites I was upset to find both packages were to be delivered by Parcelforce. My experience with them in the past had been disappointing mainly because of the excessive time it always takes them to deliver!! So I opted to PAY FOR NEXT DAY DELiVERY on the 2nd buy to ensure my purchase arrived! Guess what......still waiting!”
“Worst company to deal with. Was expecting a very big parcel, took the day off to be at home and then they never came. Not only this but they lied about coming to my place: I received this "We attempted to deliver your parcel on Thursday 14th November 2024 at 15:53 but no one was available. Your parcel status will be updated here and our driver will have left a card explaining what to do next." I was all day in and no ring was heard. I noticed this approximately 10min after the driver was left but the company could not do anything to inform the driver I was home. Rubbish. The guy that send this paid 170£ for this service. Absolute rubbish and liers”
“I had an awful experience with Parcelforce. The driver failed to show up on the scheduled date and time, and there was no way to contact them. When I called the Parcelforce office, the receptionist didn't offer any assistance and merely said, "Good luck chasing it!" I felt like my time was wasted waiting for a delivery that never came.
The next day, I saw that my order had been reloaded onto the van and marked out for delivery. However, the live tracker was unhelpful; it showed the van parked in a nearby area for hours, moving a short distance and then remaining stationary again. By the end of the day, I still had not received my delivery.
I really question why companies continue to use Parcelforce, as they are unreliable and frustrating to deal with.I had an awful experience with Parcelforce.”
“bought a phone for my mom as a birthday present. She lives in Latvia. I went to the Royal Mail post office and paid £63 to ensure the phone would reach my mom quickly and safely. A whole month later, my mom received an empty box.
I contacted the Latvian post to ask for details, and they sent me an official letter clearly stating that my parcel arrived in Latvia weighing 200 grams less than it was when it was sent from the UK. I filed an official complaint and received an email from the claims team rejecting my claim because they didn't believe it, completely ignoring the fact that my parcel arrived at the Latvian border with a different weight.
So what I have now is a £363 loss, the stress and massive frustration of a 74-year-old woman, and an endless wait for some sort of investigation. All of this is because of the company I trusted to send my parcel.
If you're deciding which courier to use, please think twice before choosing this one. Even if you pay extra for supposed security, you are unfortunately not covered if your parcel goes missing.”
“This is company for scammers , I had a very pathetic experience, neither my parcel been delivered nor the claim amount paid, I booked a large size trolley from UK to India , after a week I have seen in tracker the parcel ( so called) been reached to destination country and it remain same till last day , nothing changed , I tried track down further but nothing. I have lost my most valuable things on that, claim amount also not paid fully , they have taken atleast a month or to pay the same . Do not want to give a star too . Please avoid. And share it to others .”
“I'm a disabled pensioner I couldn't get to the door ar seven in the morning, so it was sent to a post office which I'm unable to access so arrange a redelivery. Should have arrived today but i have just received a phone call saying it will not be delivered for another five day it happens to be a piece of medical equipment . It's a good job it's not life and death.”
“Absolutely appalling. My GlobalExpress parcel sent to the Czech Republic, promised to be delivered "from the next working day to USA, Canada and Europe", did not even leave the UK for 10 days!!! Extremely unhelpful customer service. Never again.”
