Birthday present for recently bereaved cousin gone missing. Driver said he delivered to a neighbour, but no card was left for recipient to detail which neighbour. It is a country area where neighbours are not right next door, but friendly and they look after one another. It is odd for a driver to say he has done this, as he had to drive right past the local Post Office to get to my relative's house, and the obvious place to leave the parcel would be the Post Office if the recipient did not come to the front door. There was a surname signature, but it is a common name in that area (and not the name of the recipient). Did the driver realise the present was a bottle of wine and keep it? I hope not. Awaiting news from ParcelForce, but am also letting the wine supplier know about this: especially as his Mum's title was given to Royal Mail and as our future King I am sure HRH Prince Charles would like to know about dodgy deliveries of his Highgrove products.

Second time in a week that this shambles has opted not to knock on my door before popping a “missed delivery” card through my door. Second time in a week Parcelforce have inconvenienced me because their delivery people seem to be incapable of actually delivering.

I sent a parcel using priority delivery for a reason because it was time sensitive as my friend (the receiver) was going away after 4 days and I was also going away for holidays. And because of a mistake made by their employee who didn’t attach the necessary document that describes the content of the parcel. The delivery was delayed and my the receiver already left the city. I called before I leave for holidays they told me that its fine the parcel will stay in the depot until your friend comes back and collect it. When I came back from holidays I saw that I received a letter saying that they needed information about the receiver (which by the way was on the parcel) I sent that information as soon as I read it (I was on holidays so couldn’t read the Letter). Then you told me its fine you will sort things out Then I receive another letter saying that the parcel has been returned and either I pay 35 pounds or it will be destroyed Conclusion I paid for fast delivery Now I should pay to get it back which means I am paying for THEM not doing Their job properly and nothing here was my fault. How is that fair ?

Just had a “missed delivery”. Might I suggest that in the future you attempt to knock on the door or ring the bell? With me being wide awake and 10 feet away from the door, I’m speculating this may have helped.

Called up just because I had a question about paying customs and was wondering whether I could visit the depot in person to provide evidence of the value of the goods I ordered. The guy asked me for my tracking number, and as I was acquiring it from my email from the invoice, they hung up on me for no apparent reason. Maybe I was taking too long to find the number, but I don't find that grounds to hang up without word. At least say that you're sorry but you'll have to end the call until I find my number. What kind of shitty customer service is that? just hanging up on your customers.

I was waiting for my parcel which was apparently delivered. I didn't receive this and was 100% sure it was delivered somewhere else. I could not get my money back from the seller because he had the trucking ref and I could not get answers from Parcelforce because they system said it was delivered so nothing else they could do. It was a few months ago... Today, waiting for my parcel and the driver could not find the address, which is so ridiculous because it's only one small street. I just can't believe this.

They left me a card saying they'd taken my parcel back to the depot but the card doesn't say where their depot is. After finding it on the internet I see it's 12 miles away so arrange for it to be delivered to my local post office. They ring me the next day to say the parcel is too long to be left at the post office and if I want it they can only give me a day of 9 hours when it might be delivered. Useless company years behind the competition. I write complaint and receive an acknowledgement saying I'll be contacted within 48 hours. Still waiting 4 days later.

Global Priority Express a joke £68 for so called 1/3 day express delivery UK to Norway its day 2 and parcel tracker confirm parcel been over 24hrs stuck UK sorting hub going nowhere near Norway! Now arranging duplicate package via competitors for £53 with free door collection unlike Parcelforce via Post Office counter! Avoid £68 x value of parcel contents wasted. This was going to be a regular monthly event so thankfully warned off.

What a shambles. 13 Aug 18.05 - business order sent to Parcelforce 15 Aug 12.15 - tracking states in depot BUT 'customer requested later delivery' - WHAT!! 15 Aug 18.28 - customer support acknowledges my enquiry email and will get back to me as soon as they can! 16 Aug 16.00 - still nothing heard from Parcel force so phone and eventually speak to someone who gives me another telephone number and to press Option 5 for Ipswich branch. 16 Aug 17.00 - eventually got through! Yes, parcel was in depot but the address was a school and schools are now closed! I point out that this school is NOT closed and I would not have asked for delivery if it was. How dare they assume! The parcel is for a little boy who has bought some Birkenstock shoes for his parents and who gets on a bus to the airport at 1pm the following day. So, she will leave a note for her manager to call me and agrees to change the delivery address to my home address as I am not at work (school) the following day. 17 Aug 10.30 - heard nothing by phone but tracking now says parcel is out for delivery. So, I phone to find out when it will be delivered, so Emma phones driver who says it will be after midday but hopefully before 1pm. By now I am so stressed at the thought of the £150 worth of goods arriving after the disappointed boy departs forever. 17 Aug 11.55 - my work colleague phones to say parcel has been delivered to the school. Unbelievable as I waited at home all morning. Still, I am mightily relieved for the boy. 17 Aug 16.25 - reply to my original enquiry email 2 days later "I’ve passed the details on to the manager of your local depot, who will raise it as a training issue within the admin team so this remains an isolated incident." Businesses - do not use unreliable Parcelforce Customers - I hope you receive your parcel in the allotted timeframe or indeed, receive your parcel.

Website allowed me to request a redelivery, so I sit in all day only to find out that if it’s been left at a P.O. then they don’t redeliver. Plus I wasn’t left a card and also they left it a P.O. at the other side of town when there’s a P.O. 2 minutes away from where I live. When you don’t have a car and don’t even know how to get to the random P.O. - it’s ridiculous! Worst system ever.

My package was lost and they would give me no information or update since I was the receiver, not the sender. Totally dissatisfied with this service.

Without a doubt the worst UK courier I have ever come across. This is not the first time I have come across such issues or delays... madness. 3 consecutive times I have booked with 2 days notice to send a package with collection on a specific date and no one comes to collect. No card, no email notification to say they won't collect and you have to then call them to arrange collection. However, I was on the online chat and even though the telephone advisor said they had re-booked my collection, the online advisor said they are not allowed to and she must try on her system!!!!!! then she came back and said she is unable to without an investigation so this will now delay the collection :o what do I do? Madness... never using these useless fools again.

Took a parcel from Somerset to London, parcel looked like it had been thrown around and was mangled. I had insured the package for up to £500! What a mistake, never again i am now told that i can only claim up to £200. This is added at the end of the contract. Wont be recommending or using again, feel really let down.

My parcel (important materials for my work) was not delivered after a week - meant to be delivered within 24 hours - and the staff at the depot said there would be a ' depot search' to find it. No information was given, I was not contacted, and so had to go back to the supplier and get another parcel sent. This must cost a lot! It's the lack of communication and care that really annoys me. I will not use a supplier who uses parcelforce again.
