Possibly the worst company in existence. How does PC world work? If you buy a laptop from PC world and there is a fault; its your fault the product is faulty and not theirs or the manufacturers. They say you can view the product in store but I couldn't view this product since it was something they did not have on display. Now with almost every company; if you are not happy with your product then you can return it. But does PC world have this same policy? Of course not! These money grabbers couldn't care less! I will never be shopping on PC world again. I think I will just by the techy products I need online where I am able to do a deeper research into the products I am looking for.

second attempt at ordering from P C world, second order cancellation. I moved house recently and bought a fridge from Currys P C World. Paid for it, booked in a delivery date, and waited for it. It never arrived. After no communication from the store I called to find out my order was cancelled. They blamed the bank (the bank took a larger payment from SCS just fine and deny any issues their side). We thought it was a fluke error and bought a washing machine last week, same again - order cancelled. At least we got an email this time, but I won't bother with a third time.

I have purchased a £12.99 blender in offer in Birmingham New Street who only works 50% of the times even if I followed the instructions as advised. The employee asked me to show him how I was using it. I got surprised and didn't do as instructed on the manual, because I was under pressure by the behaviour of the employee even though I tried explaining multiple times that I never said it didn't work, I said that under the same conditions and setup - which was right - it worked only 50% of the times. I was told that only a video would be enough to prove my point, with absolutely zero customer trust. No, going back home and losing time to make a stupid video for a £12.99 blender is not even worth the trip. Besides this, the blender works very, very badly and really does NOT do its job. I strongly advise against purchasing this specific product from this shop according to my experience with the product itself and the customer service. Will not be shopping here again.

I so want to support high street stores and not buy on line but visited Weymouth branch twice to try and buy a new tv, on both occasions I left without tv as all the ones I was interested in staff had no knowledge of and after searching on a failing website when they finally got the Spec they did not understand it and could not explain anything, despite this when I finally made a choice they told me the 2 tv,s I had considered on display were no longer available. Very disappointing service. Spent hours in your store just trying to buy a tv. Sorry but I won’t go back a third time.

Visited Weymouth retail Park 6 staff standing by the door laughing talking 1 reading a paper by the counter 1 listening to the only salesperson working. I tried to obtain someone’s attention and it appeared one of them lost out and came over. Attitude not good. Why oh why do management pay for people who are bone idle, the staff also have no concerns in keeping their employment. No wonder business’s close.

T Needed a Toner Cartridge and a Cooker hood so popped into PC World/Currys in Highgate Birmingham. Walked around the store looking for someone to help but no luck. Waited in line at the counter for ages to find out that both things were not in stock and that I could not order from the store as it would not give me the online discount. Had to go and find a computer and ordered them online. The toner could be ordered and collected but the cooker hood was only available through delivery!! So after receiving six (6) email regarding just the toner I went to collect it and was told that I needed the credit card it was ordered on!! Lady serving me told me that this was mentioned in the emails!! Which one?? so much information to go through in the six email!! This is not the first time I have been disappointed by this store, I have previously shopped here and I have had to wait for long periods or leave as no staff were available or the item I wanted was not in stock. The amount of time it takes to make a purchase is just silly in this day and age. Improve or lose! Judging by the reviews (77% -1 Star) on here and other sites, I think that it will not be long before we lose another Electrical Retailer. It might even get better if you were just online!!

When I contact the technician,Too rude response from technicians even the problem of the laptop I bought is faulty. When I report to manager, he just covered his staff fault and he said he can do apologise for that no responsibility for that and thank you for your feedback. Too bad service, No more purchase from there

I gave my promise to review my experience from Pc World and I will keep it. The worst costumer service ever. There is a high chance that you will not receive your item, lose your money, and you might as lose the chance to be refunded. Ps the people working for the customer service have the weirdest accent. If I could give you a zero I would.

Purchased a Logic washing machine which was faulted with a large piece of plastic in the waste pipe from manufacturing which prevented the drainage of the water. Rather than replacing it, Currys sent a repair operative from "cowboy plumbers" who wanted to cut off the pipe behind the plastic piece and then using tape and jubilee clip to attach it to my undersink waste pipe; I told him where to go. I lost a days salary in order for "cowboy plumbers" to suggest a nonesense solution. Ten days after the original delivery, Currys exchanged the washing machine. I complained to Currys and they offered £10 goodwill; obviously I refused. They did not care in the least that I had been badly inconvenienced and had lost a days salary; the two emails I received were very identical template responses. Never again.

So we order an item to the value of £1449 which my daughter saved for 12 months for and needed for her ALevels. We receive notification to say it’s ready for collection , to then when we get there say there has been a problem and was not barcoded so a refund will be given taking 14 days I spend 2 hours on the phone to customer services - promised 3 call backs and nothing resolved! I go to store - where they have 3 in store - to be told sorry I can’t give you this product ! So no refund or exchange ! I state customer rights etc to end up with being in the store for 4 hours to no refund and no exchange to the police being called to have to go back in tues to sort !!!! Please avoid especially Kettering branch where to be fair staff was really good but the manager - well in tears saying his quitting his job to being a coward and calling the police!!! Police who actually agreed they was in the wrong by all affairs !!!! Disgusting - daylight robbery

I bought a Sony TV online for £1100 - got it delivered 2 days later and was disappointed with picture quality. By the UK regulations for a distance sale I'm allowed to return product within 14 days counting from delivery date. Called PCWorld 5 days after delivery (number provided on my return info letter) and explained that I'm not happy with product and would like to return and possible buy more expensive one. Been told that since I've opened box they will NOT take it back. 5 years ago I paid £3k for top quality tv and since it has just died I decided to buy new one and not worse then the previous one. Anyway - since I know few people at my local PCW a managed to return it but you people at PCW just lost a good customer - got a business account with them but they just did everything to ruin customer relationship - will never use again until amount of good reviews will exceed those bad once. Please avoid - for now

I would give them zero if I could. I brought a gaming computer costing £1300.00 on 17th Nov 2018, I have only had it for 3 months and it is displaying several faults. I have taken it back to the store for a refund/replacement as it is still within the 6 months guarantee period, to be told that after 30 days, all they can do is try to repair it, and only then will they replace it, which is totally against what the Consumer Rights Acts states they must do. As I had not choice I left it with them for a repair, two hours later they rung me to say that they had tried the computer and there was not a fault on it and there was nothing more they could do. I went back into the store to explain that I was not a liar, and that I had experienced faults with it, and that by not giving me a replacement or refund they were in breach of the Consumer Rights Act. The person serving me was extremely rude, condescending, obnoxious and said sarcastically "where did you get your information from, Wikipedia" to which I replied "no Gov.UK, Citizens Advice, and Which, surely they cant all be wrong". He then started sprouting a lot of rubbish about its not their policy to exchange/refund etc etc. At this point I was so incensed and angry I told him I wasn't interested in hearing any more from him, took the computer and left. I had my 13 year old son with me at the time who was very upset and distressed and actually said "mum that man was so rude to you". NEVER EVER EVER EVER BUY FROM THIS STORE.

My mum had a dishwasher installed and paid £25 for. Two men turned up (Polish) didn’t have any tools with them, luckily a carpet fitter was there and lent them a pair of grips, they took the old one out and installed the new one, my mum asked if they could take the plastic rapping off side , but they didn’t as in too much of a rush. Two weeks later my mums floor as come up as it’s wood, pulled dishwasher out and the connection was Cross threaded and been leaking. PC World, Curry’s were called and sent someone to look who said these two guys should never of installed dishwasher and admitted liability. My mum has been told by two flooring companies the floor needs to come up as very wet and now can’t open doors. PC world , Curry’s have now sent someone else who’s asked who admitted liability and will talk to the two guys. My mum has now rang and sounds like there back tracking and want nothing to do with, the guy even asked how water got under floor lol. My mum is now going to seek legal advice . Do NOT use. Terrible Company!!!
