“Mark Clay was the salesperson who helped me with my car purchase. He was extremely helpful and not pushy( unlike another local dealer I had some contact with!)
He and his manager did everything possible to make sure I had the best deal for my budget .
Would recommend and would give marks of 11/ 10 if I could. Very happy so far!”
“My experience with Daniel Stevens was second to none, I could not have asked for more when it came to buying and financing my new car. He was compassionate, considerate, patient, clear and concise. I would recommend him as a representative of your company to anyone I know looking to buy a new car. I will look no further than Daniel, wherever he may be, to purchase my next car.
On following up on my sales agreement Laura and Jackie were on the same par, very professional and very helpful at every stage, they certainly continued on what appears to be the company ethos.
On the other hand however when it came to my key handover, which I'm sure for most people is a mixture of excitement and apprehension my experience was far from what I was used to. Jason was very dismissive and direct with his instructions, I almost felt like an inconvenience to him and at one point just wanted my keys and to be on my merry way. This is very unfortunate given all the hard work and building up of relationship that had gone before. If I didn't hold Daniel in such high regard all the had gone before would have been for nothing.
All that aside I will still give my service a 5 stars ... as someone pretty famous said 'I will be back'
Thank you to one and all.
Diane Paterson”
“THANK YOU FOR PULLING OUT ALL THE STOPS FOR ME TO PURCHASE MY NEW MOKKA. THIS IS THE SECOND CAR I HAVE PURCHASED FROM PETER VARDY AND WILL CERTAINLY BE BACK. THE STAFF ARE VERY HELPFUL AND EXPLAIN EVERYTHING IN DETAIL. THE AFTER SALES SERVICE IS ALSO VERY GOOD. THANK YOU AGAIN.”
“Good price for a well spec'd small car. Very good service from all concerned. I was kept up to date with the estimated time of delivery (which was, happily, a lot sooner than expected).
Sales did,nt try to "hide" any costs (as some companies do). Hand over was also a pleasant experience with flowers (!) and non-alcohol fizzy. The £500 free fuel offer was also a deal maker. So all in all 10/10.”
“I found the whole process very good, from initial visit to showroom to finalising deal, salesmen very good and all was clear and no pressure, just wanted to ensure I was happy, which I was.”
“A superb experience from entering the showroom to completing the deal. All staff were extremely attentive and helpful, especially Ricky Rae. This is our first Jaguar and our first purchase from Peter Vardy and based on this experience will not be our last. We have owned a number of different cars over the years and none of our previous purchases have come close to the level of service experienced at Peter Vardy.”
“Ryan was very helpful during my purchase and did not make me feel pressured in any way. He addressed all my questions and plans to phone me in a few days to make sure that I remain satisfied with my purchase.”
“We were pleased with our initial salesperson who had a relaxed approach and we did not feel pressured in any way.
We ordered a car from the Perth branch to collect on Friday. However, it arrived later than Peter Vardy had hoped meaning we could not collect it until Saturday. It also meant the car had not been prepared properly. When we collected the car we were very disappointed to find scratches on the body work and also it had not been cleaned to a high standard.
However, the manager was quick to offer a choice of options for us to get the car up to the standard we had been expecting. Everything was resolved within 2 days and we are now very happy with our new car and how the situation was dealt with.
I would recommend that Peter Vardy give themselves enough time to prepare cars which they are receiving from other branches before handing them over to the customer. This will avoid the situation we had above.”
“The initial sale service was ok however after the sale was completed I had to keep calling to ask on the progress of the finance. I did not get a call when my finance was declined. Only when I called to find out what was happening was I then offered an alternative option. The day I went to collect my car there were no mats in the car despite waiting 3 days to collect it. I was told that the shop was closed so they would call me to arrange a delivery of them! Again I had to call a few days later to ask after the mats. On the day if the sale there promotions being offered Of £120 worth of holiday vouchers not sure what happened with that? Did it change when I had to go with 3rd party for my finance?”
“Peter Vardy Vauxhall in Aberdeen are just brilliant. Everyone I've dealt with, including reception staff, service staff & salesman, have always been extremely professional and knowledgeable which is why I have bought more than one car from this dealer. I have and will continue to recommend the team at Peter Vardy Vauxhall Aberdeen to friends and family!!”
“I have always found the people at peter vardy motherwell very polite and courteous. They can't do enough for you. The lady that serves the coffee is so nice and polite couldn't do enough for you.”
“Neither the best nor the worst but expected more from Land Rover. Sales process good, dealership friendly with good facilities but car came with issues that should have been resolved in advance and car wasnt fully prepared. What was agreed wasnt followed through and felt a bit disappointed.”
“Wish there was an option to award you zero stars as your customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. My dad was sold a car (10 months ago) He paid for 12 months road tax which we just discovered expired on 30th June. He never received a renewal letter so when I contact the garage we discover his v5 form was never sent away for meaning he is actually not the legal owner of the car he has been driving for 10 months. And the road tax ran out after 10 months when he paid for 12. Which also means the insurance he has been paying for would also be void. So he now has to go a week with no car due to not being insured until his v5 arrives. When I suggested that since it was their mess up a courtesy car should be offered I was told he can collect one on Monday afternoon (3 days from now)
The garage were more than happy to pass the blame onto my dad yet they took his money for road tax and did not renew it and did not send away his v5 form. If I was that persons boss I would be looking at some form of disaplinary. Since I felt I was getting no where with the branch I decided to call head office. The lady I spoke to was very helpful and admitted there had been many failings on their part and that she was emailing the director of the company as we spoke and he would call me back this evening. You guessed it I never relieved the call. I will give them until midday tomorrow and if not heard anything will be calling back with yet again another complaint.
Have also spoke to training standards who have confirmed they have breached their contract so looking to take things further. My dad was also sold the car being told it was an x demonstrator to then discover it's had a previous owner. Lies after lies and being told I will get a call regarding the matter then nothing. Happy to take my dads hard earned cash but not happy to admit and worse still fix problems that are your company's fault.”
