“What an experience with Prestige Flowers — and not in a good way.
I paid over £40 including p&p for what was advertised as a beautiful, abundant bouquet. What arrived, however, was a tiny, underwhelming bunch that genuinely looked like it had been picked up from a petrol station on the way home — and not even a good one. It bore very little resemblance to the lush, full arrangements shown on the website.
When I complained, I was advised to carefully follow the care instructions so the bouquet could “grow.” I can only assume they thought it was going to explode into life and magically transform into the huge display shown on their website. Unfortunately, the only way that would happen is if someone actually PUT MORE FLOWERS IN.
After I sent clear photos highlighting the difference between the advertised images and what I received, I was told it was “within their guidelines” and that several members of staff and management had reviewed it and agreed it was correct. Reassuring to know multiple people can look at something so underwhelming and unanimously decide that’s worth over £40.
I was even advised to contact my bank for a chargeback — while being told they would dispute it. Helpful.
For comparison, I went to a local florist and, for just £3 more, received a genuinely huge, beautiful arrangement that actually looked like it was worth the money.
If you enjoy paying premium prices for budget-looking bouquets and being told they might grow into something better, this could be the company for you. Otherwise, I’d strongly recommend spending your money locally instead.”
“Please AVOID , husband brought from here , flowers arrived half dead /roses dry and wilted , lilys hadn't opened after 6 days ...
Contact customer services and they would not refund, despite sending photos straight away of dead flowers!
Was offered a new bunch , but explained we are going away early next week and would not get the benefits of them .was then offered a partial refund of £10!...
Paid £25 for basically a bunch of dead flowers .
Shop elsewhere.”
“Paid over £80 for flowers for Valentine’s Day and the flowers were almost dead.
Reached out to prestige flowers and they offered an £8 store credit… they openly admitted that these were not up to their “normal standard” however was not willing to give a refund.
I purchased flowers for £20 from M&S the same day and they were a lot more better quality that the £80 bunch from prestige flowers, avoid at all costs!”
“By far the worst company I’ve ever ordered from. Flowers arrived 2 days late wilted and half dead. No compensation or even sympathy. I’m now 60 quid down with dead flowers. Happy Valentine’s Day!”
“Arrived a day late. As always blame just put on courier. Well Prestige - here’s an idea - take some responsibility for YOUR courier that I paid for - get some compensation and recompensate your customer. As it happens when flowers arrived they were awful - last minute shop in a petrol station would have been better look and miles better value. Please everyone reading this NEVER buy from here !”
“Delivery was late so missed a Birthday and when the Flowers do get delivered they will be withered after sitting around for 2 days in no water!!Second delivery that has been late and after paying for the delivery!! They don't care and just blame the 3rd party delivery company, Royal Mail. Won't be using them again!”
“I am bitterly disappointed with prestige flowers, having selected a bouquet which I had set my heart on sending as a thank you present for a wonderful afternoon tea with a member of my family.
The bouquet was delivered and I received a thank you and a photo of the flowers that were sent. On seeing the photo of the flowers which quite frankly looked wilted and not fresh at all and this was not the bouquet I had set my heart on for a thank you gift. I contacted prestige flowers and was asked to send a photo, I sent the photo to Prestige flowers, whilst not the clearest photo it was patently obvious the flowers were a completely different colour and arrangement to the one I ordered.
Frankly the flowers looked as though they had been picked from the roadside.
I had upgraded the bouquet I ordered to a larger arrangement and these were not worth the expense.
I will never use this company again”
“Flowers Ordered for next day delivery- ie Sunday, were not delivered until Tuesday!
2 flowers were dead on arrival, and there were not as many blooms as advertised and paid for!
The company just referred me to their T& C 's and said it was acceptable practise!
No it definitely should not be.
2 days without being in water, and 2 days less enjoyment for my sister.
As I could not provide suitable photographs to meet their exacting requirements,
they merely offered me £10 off a future order.
Needless to say I will not be using this company again.”
“As someone based in Australia with family in Belfast I’ve used Prestige Gifting for flowers and hampers in the past but after my most recent experience in January ‘26 I won’t waste my time and money again.
Sending flowers to family just outside of the capital for her birthday I was happy to accept the next day delivery and pay the fee. I wanted the flowers fresh and looking their best.
They were finally delivered a full three days after the advised date with no mention of any weather incidents by Customer Service on enquiry that may have attributed to any delay. I believed the confirmation email at checkout… no amendment advice was received.
I was also concerned about the state of the flowers by this time and the lateness of the intended “Best Wishes”.
In short, I won’t be using the brand again... simpler. The late delivery was an annoyance and defeated the purpose of the arrangement, but the reasoning offered for delay versus the confirmation date was entirely unsatisfactory, along with the offer of a £5+ credit for future use.”
“Flowers ordered by my daughter in Australia were DEAD on arrival, contacted Prestige Flowers customer service they were of no use all, not the individuals fault as they have to follow the script they are given,no help at all, will never use Prestige Flowers again, if I could I would give, 0 across the board”
“Absolute awful company photos do not represent what is delivered, There florists have some form of plant biology that escapes me Apparently 3 days to let the flowers bloom will turn 5 Lillies or roses into 10. avoid avoid is my advice.”
“Flowers were dispatched the day after I ordered for next day but were then scheduled for three days.
I called after receiving notification, was advised it would still be next day (untrue).
They were not delivered until the three days after all, drooping and dying flowers.
Sent photos and was advised I had to wait three days for the flowers to revive?!
Eventually claimed via my credit card company.
Shocking customer service, above does not cover the endless correspondence and the delivery charge at £5.99 is steep.
I would go elsewhere, seriously.”
“Very poor customer service did not send the flowers as described on their website was not interested in correcting my order for me very disappointed with this company and will never ever use them again. I spent £70 on my order of chocolate and flowers and was not sent the correct chocolate or flowers In my opinion this was a lot of money and my order was very important to me as it was to say thank you to somebody very special. I was embarrassed and upset by the disappointing service I received.”
“This is for anyone who is looking for flower please don't go to this company there off the scale misleading 40 pounds for 4 flowers after showing a punch i reserved not even half of what they where showing ion there web site and when they came looked unsellable a total insult as a gift at Christmas how could they even call them prestige very upsetting and not right horrendous hope this company disappear from trading because theres no place for people like this 😢”
“Thd flowers were promised for 8th December between 8.20 and 1220. Instead a parcel was left on my doorstep at 19.20 that wasn't even mine. It eas left to me to arrange a pickup despite several emails and phone calls to prestige. Next day the courier came to take the mis delivered parcel and brought the fowers for our wedding anniversary the previous day. They said if I refuse them they would return to sender and a refund would be given. Prestige have refused to honour this. All I get is Sorry, but no mention of a refund of any description.”
“I ordered the Roma bouquet and upgraded to a large, as these were for my step mums 50th from my dad, to be presented at a family party. They were £60, and around £6 postage.
What arrived was extremely disappointing. At first I was sure they had accidentally sent the small version (I would have been disappointed with what arrived, if I had ordered the small too!). There were very few stems and there wasn't even an effort to pad it out with foliage. If you were to put three of the bunches i received together, then the bouquet would have been acceptable.
What was more abhorrent than receiving these measly flowers, waa the customer service. After bringing this to their attention, all they could offer was £5 credit on thisr website as the card it came with was wet, but insisted that it was as advertised and even had thier 'flower manager' confirm there wasn't a quality issue. After more back and forth and more photos after 3 days, where the flowers would 'bloom' (this made no difference), they agreed rhere was a quality issue, so they offered £10 credit!
Then after even more back and to, they offered £10 refund. I have refused this, as its a pitiful offering.
Avoid this company as others have said, its been so stressful to deal with and put a downer on the celebration.”
“Battered flowers arrived. Told my son he had a choice of replacement or £10 credit. Unfortunately he wasn't aware of his legal rights to a full refund under the Sale of Goods Act........so basically fobbed him off and called the matter resolved...AVOID.....not even a goodwill gesture...”
“I ordered flowers with Prestige flowers, and read reviews after order
I was so worried,as this was important,and I wanted a special delivery
Thankfully flowers arrived in good condition, but the size of bouquet was very small even though I paid an extra 10£ for bigger one.I was satisfied as my niece loved the flowers,”
“Dreadful experience: the flowers arrived a day later than I had ordered them for and missed the funeral they were bought for. Never use this company.”
