Absolute worst customer service i have ever had in my life. I have been trying for over a month to get replacement cartridges for Rona brand shower faucets that are leaking and keep getting the run around. They are supposed to be lifetime warranty but at this point i wouldn't even care if i had to pay for them. Will never purchase Rona branded products again.

I purchased a BBQ on July 11, 2024, from the Stock Yards location. I tried to call the stockyards store on July 15, 2024, multiple times. Called the toll-free number in customer service and what a joke. No wonder people shop at home depot, Rona sucks no customer service, and no help at the store level and head office. This is my first and last time I shop at Rona.

Totally does not care about customer service once sale is made just passes the problem of to the supplier and offer no assistance whatsoever. To this date I have not heard back from RONA CSS about the defective product they sold me as NEW. Looks like I will have to contact the Ontario Consumer Protection Agency to get some help as I am not about to let RONA get away with it. "Never" again will I shop or should i sa "throw my money away" at RONA.

Where do I begin? Their website is absolutely deceptive. First, it has one price and then it has another price. When you try to call in the people on the other end to get an a price adjustment they tell you to put your order in first and then they’re going to apply the discount. Riiiight. Just give me a code. There’s a box when you check out for one. Then they say they’re going to get somebody to contact you back and round and round the circle of deception goes. I used to like this store before Covid but things changed since they went to Rona, plus.

My fiance ordered a fireplace online and we received in a timely manner,. However, there was significant damage on the mantle! We called the store and were told we could bring it and return it to the the store to avoid hassle. We spoke someone named Jenn on the phone as well at the store. She was fantastic! She refunded the money and then re ordered the item right there for us. No hassles!

price match??? don't think so....after almost a week of Rona reviewing information that I had to provide to prove that the home air condition unit that I was looking to purchase was identical and less expensive at their competitors, they said they would match their price. According to "Rona price match" on major appliances, they are also to beat it by 10%. The customer service rep said no, "it's not on our list as a major appliance" I asked to see the list, I was told to Google it, so I did. According to Wikipedia, air conditioned is listed as a "major appliance under heating/cooling. I was told that doesn't match their own created list, therefore they won't take the 10% off, but instead offered me a $100.00 credit towards future purchases. Not likely to ever shop at Rona ever again, too bad as it was one of my frequently shop at stores. Case #00878946

We bought 2 separate windows for our front door and side window from Rona online on April 3, 2024, we received them both on April 30, 2024 and found the large one had a damaged frame. On May 1, 2024, I sent in the original message to the Customer Service along with pictures of the damaged frame. After many emails I was told that they were sending out a new frame for the large window. I finally, after more emails (May 2nd, May 15th, May 20th, June 6th) called the Customer support on June 6, 2024. I spoke to a fellow who assured me that the frame was arriving in Calgary that day and would be shipped out to us in Cranbrook, BC within the next day or two. I gave it 11 days to arrive and still nothing. I again emailed on June 17th, 2024, and then get an email today June 25, 2024 saying that they will return my money after I send the damaged one back. I can't believe this, we have been waiting since April for the frame to be sent (very common size 22 x 36 x 1 ) (which matches the small door window). I feel I have had the run around or lied too from Rona's customer service department since May 1, 2024. I have been very patient so far but I feel RONA should be compensating us for all the issues this has caused us! This is the worst service I have ever received and it took a lot to finally give this review as I am getting no help from Rona's customer service department!

Went looking for a bathroom tap for my son's condo. Found a suitable one AND at a reduced (20% off) price. Took a pic, but couldn't get my son's approval before leaving. Came back two days later post consent. Much to my chagrin, the sale price was no more. Got direction from a fine man in the department to speak to manager/customer service. Did so, and with no hesitation, received the reduced price. Well done RONA+, I thought this kind of service was no more. Five-star rating from this guy!

I pay for everything with my credit card. I have spent close to 10k this summer so far at Rona- I found some items that were not used for the deck etc so I went to return them yesterday- the person at Rona said no receipt - no refund. Rona isn’t like Home Depot where they can find your purchases if you pay with your credit card. Now I have all these Rona hardware items that I cannot use so, in the end I should have just stayed with Home Depot. I would have saved time energy and money! I will never shop at Rona again!

Today my son and I visited Rona store on St. Charles Boulevard ( West Island ) to find a glass cutter that we were checking every other stores all morning with no result. Once we entered, a nice girl whose name was Rowena reached us and asked if she could help and in no time let us know where to go. Great thanks to the kind and knowledgeable manager, Mr. Roland, who saved our time by joining us and helped my son to find all the supplies he needed. Next time we do not bother to go elsewhere and we'll shop at this store. Excellent Management !

I guess I should’ve read the reviews on Rona before making the purchase I purchased a shed on May 27 2024 for 5500.00 Today is June 11 2024, still no shed and no credit every time I call I get a different person with a different story Thank you Rona for using my money for about 2 months, I purchased from you thinking Canadian but it’s not worth it

absolutely the worst service there is, i went there talked to 2 people working there about buying 2000$ worth of pavers, they started sending from one person to another, i waited 1 hour without any result and then decided to leave and buy my pavers from another store. its absolutely horrible service.

on May 15/24 I ordered a lawnmower to ship the next day, paid for on Visa. May 30/24 still no product. 15 days, 12 emails, one visit to manager in store in Mississauga. The customer service takes 1.5 hours on hold. When I wanted to cancel my order….they said they couldn’t hear me!!!! The store called head office and got hung up on by customer service line as well. I have now 2 claim numbers, they blame the supplier! The absolute worst on line purchase experience ever….2 weeks and they won’t do anything for me. Never buy from Rona again. Nobody cares at all paid $609.00 ……humiliating!!!

Stockyards location - Bought a washer and dryer set and it said the appliances needed to be unhooked and unstacked before they come. My tenant is not able to do this physically (single female) nor does she have the tools needed. The items are delivered and left in the condo unit. I called Rona multiple times about my problem, spoke to multiple people. At first was told I needed to buy installation service (which was included in my purchase), and in the end spoke to somebody who claimed to be the assistant manager. She gave me different stories of cannot book another time for haul away and installation until I confirm the units are unhooked/unstacked and then said cannot resend the delivery guy because it costs them extra and that all should've been done in the first place. Their delivery guy does not do uninstall which to me is ridiculous - what average person has the tools to unstack a washer/dryer set and if you install, why can't you uninstall? Assistant manager offered no options and said nothing she can do, policy blah blah blah. I have not been this infuriated in a long time over a service I purchased. Basically they did not fulfil their contract by not doing the installation and haul away. Oh and also they screwed up before this by saying there was a glitch in the system and the items couldn't be delivered as originally planned (on Saturday) and had to be delayed by 2 days. I only went with Rona because of the quick delivery date; I should've bought elsewhere.

We ordered a gazebo 5 days ago and still waiting, went to the store two times still waiting. The customer service is the worse you can get. Don't buy anything onl8ne from them.

I went to SHOP at Rona CALEDONIA store. I tried to get up with purchasing a toilet. I also Vita if she could kindly check the price for this item. She said no, you have to go get it and bring it here to her. I have not met anybody as rude as this girl Rona has declined since they took it over from Lowes I am a VIP member for the last 20 years and these service desk staff Really don’t care about your customer service. Honestly, something has to be done about this. I am jumping ship to Home Depot much more friendly staff over there.

I would like to Thank Rona on behalf of my families : D’Angelo & Simonetta We have had the best customer service from Mr.Peter D’urso (employee #2512391) The 1st time Mr.D’urso helped my 90 year old Mother purchase a kitchen stove, he was extra kind and most courteous and very patient. We remembered Peter and came back to purchase a Washer & Dryer!! Again the best most caring Customer Service. The word has spread to our extended big families and they have all started shopping at Rona! We Thank you Rona for having a wonderful exemplary caring employee in your service Mr. Peter D’urso. The rona experience was not my issue. The fact that the used FedEx for their delivery service however is. The package was extremely late and FedEx customer support is extreamy poor. Rona needs to change their delivery service to something more reliable. I will not order online from Rona again!

Shout out to Mike, Store Manager, Winnipeg Central, who spied me in the parking lot trying my best to load 9 bags of cedar mulch and came to my rescue!!! Woot woot thanks again Mike that was a much-needed rescue!!!
