“I have now been waiting for 4 days for a parcel which was supposed to have been delivered on Monday. They’re impossible to get hold of. Was supposed to have something delivered today by “13:47” well it’s long past that time now and I still haven’t heard anything. But they wash their hands of any blame when you finally speak to someone (usually the delivery guy).
You pay for recorded delivery and it is just dumped on the doorstep in broad daylight. Had one thing stolen after they left it by my front door.
Right now they’re giving Hermes a run for their money in a bid to be the worst delivery firm ever!”

“Shocking service now. My weekly magazine subscriptions arrive in a haphazard manner sometimes two or three weeks late and all arrive together. Daily deliveries a thing of the past and mail from the US is taking two or three weeks and the problem is this side of the pond it seems. When are they going to admit that daily deliveries don't exist and at least let us know when we can expect them.”

“Parcel not delivered at stated time. If you're only job is to deliver a parcel and you state that you are going to do it within a specified window and then fail, then you are not offering a service to me and I should be refunded the cost of postage. I should also have the option for charging for my time which I've had to spend waiting in the house for a parcel which didn't arrive.
Terrible company which should be replaced by private companies who can actually deliver a service. I'd be embarrassed to work for them.”

“Sent a Covid test by guarenteed next day delivery. Took over 2 days. Now having to cancel holiday with no refund.

I sent money to my nephew's for Xmas,the envelope was delivered but empty of its contents.It contained two money wallets with cash totalling,£50 so it wasn't pennies.I always assumed postal staff were meant to be trust worthy people obviously this is not the case.I feel totally sickened to think that some lowlife would stoop as low as to do this.

“How come the Royal mail only service that don't bother updating the tracking, you just got the info like : tracking will be provided once we try to deliver so what's the point even having tracking at all? Lost Driving Licence sent tracked one month ago.
Lost Passport sent tracked two weeks ago.
Lost parcel from online retailer one week ago also sent tracked.
Companies should boycott Royal Mail and only use couriers.
In addition, Royal Mail never answer phone, been on hold for one hour - waste of time and money”
“Considering it's a postal company What a useless company it is! waiting for a package for almost two weeks now after being dispatched tried contacting royal mail customer service to get told this service isn't available and know way of leaving a message. Definitely will be using a more reliable provider next time .”
“Really disappointing and bad service, my international tracked and signed shipment from UK should receive Dubai in 10-14 maximum days as per the order and after 1month still it shows status as item will be now leaving UK and tracking link is even error.
I suggest you never to use royal mail service for important documents. Even they dont provide proper section for writing personnel complaint in their website.”
“I live in London and often make purchases on Ebay. A small package posted in London on 20th November still has not arrived. - now 8th December. Another posted in Watford on 23rd Nov with a tracking number also has not arrived. When I tried the online tracking I got a message saying "Tracking information is not available for this service"!! I've spoken to our over-worked friendly postman - he's struggling under poor management too - and it appears that there is a 7 or 8 foot pile of mail in the sorting office being ignored!!! That is not what we have paid for, Royal Mail.
I heard today of a friend of a friend asking his local postie where his birthday cards were. The response was to the effect that 'We are only doing parcels today'. I believe the cards arrived a week late. This is not the service people are paying for.”
