“Recently ordered some materials from Toolstation which normally comes next day. Order placed Thursday 11:00 am.
Nothing Friday, looked at the website to see nothing much updated over the weekend.
Monday SMS to say delivery today between a timescale later than the delivery drivers work, later update, returned to depot!
Next day followed the van online which came within a few miles of my house, then returned to depot again.
Delivery driver who was named has delivered to me many times so no issue with finding me.
Complaint to Parcel Force asking order to be returned to sender as couldn't wait and reordered for collection.
Next day, Wednesday, 5 days later, delivery driver ran up drive at lightening speed and dropped off .Postage stamp had Thursday date on it Reply from Parcel Force, couldn't see any reason for late delivery, these things happen!!!!!!!!!!
Had to travel to local town to return delivered items as now duplicated.
Other deliveries taking an age while Hermes, DPD etc all fast and dependable .Previous orders from same supplier arrived damaged with contents missing.
Now will not buy from sellers using Royal Mail/Parcel Force.”
“Posted 6 large letters all with correct postage, 1 out of the 6 arrived and took over a week to go the 7.5 mile journey, I could have walked it there quicker. Just where are these letters? Is there an “undelivered” pile somewhere? Under the Blackpool tower maybe? Would be about the same height I think!!”
“Delivery was scheduled for 11/07, they attempted delivery on 10/07 stating they would attempt to deliver the next working day. Now the 14/07 and no attempt has been made. I've waited around for the past 2 days for nothing. A tracked parcel you cannot track. Unable to reach a human via phone. I've received many other parcels on time during the pandemic but Royal Mail have always failed in this department...the department in which they work as a company. If possible, I will be avoiding Royal Mail at all costs.”

All now 7 days after posting according to Royal Mail 'tracking' -which must be the worst in the delivery business - none has arrived.

I have complained, but thay ignored the issues, and sent a meaningless standard reply. when I tried to complain again the web site refused to accept the complaint. These must be one of the worst businesses for customer service.”
“I paid for a first class signed for delivery on the 08/06/20 and my items have still not been delivered. I've made several complaints using their complaints procedure on their pathetic site, and have had the same response, that is blaming the coronavirus for non delivery. They even have the cheek to ask if they resolved my complaint in their replies, which are obviously computer generated.
I expected a delay due to the current pandemic, but over a month is totally unacceptable. Worst service and company out there. I would have given no stars if I could.”
“The worst delivery company going, why companies insist on using only Royal Mail for shipping is beyond me. ‘Tracked’ parcels that will just show up at some random point, most other companies let you follow it to your door so you can at least have a vague idea of a time. Then when you miss it you have to wait days for a redelivery? So as it’s a Saturday I now have to wait until Tuesday? Terrible service.”
“Shocking company who, unlike the supermarkets and many other company's, have not managed to step up during the corona virus pandemic. Delivery now only seems to be twice a week, yet we have never received anything to communicate this. Parcels and letters take forever and many go missing. When you take the time and trouble to fill in the online form to ask for a parcel to be left in the shed, they ignore it and take it to the sorting office. Then you decide to collect it from the sorting office the next day (Friday), because you need the parcel for a birthday on Saturday, you find the sorting office only opened from 7-9am - SERIOUSLY!!!!!!! How is this a service?? Utterly shocking and they couldn't care less!!”
“The Royal Mail website is one of the poorest around. It almost competes with the gov.uk site. When you have finally not found what you require, you then have a roundabout journey to the same place. When you want to complain, it ends up with you getting to that same place again. I had to resort to emailing the CEO to complain. They really need to test their systems with actual customers. Whoever is in charge of IT at RM, they need to be sacked! USELESS!!!”

“They failed to redeliver my parcel, even after I complained to them. I was waiting for so long and it never turned up. Then ebay refunded me and I was then told by the seller that they tried to deliver it and he quoted the tracking info. Anyway they never left a red card and now it's sitting in the sorting office and I've been given a refund. I didn't want a refund, I wanted the package!! I hate Royal Mail, they are a sloppy, crappy company with people who don't give a f*** about whether of not people get their mail and I wish they would go under. They've never given me any kind of compensation for any of the endless problems they create. I hate them!!”
“Paid extra for next day delivery, we’re in all day, get a text saying they tried to deliver but nobody was home - don’t even leave a card so I doubt they tried. Then you have to wait 2 days for them to even try to redeliver!!!”
