“Paid extra for 48 hour tracked delivery. Royal Mail confirmed they had it in Sheffield at 10.02am on Wednesday morning and package would arrive on Friday. Didn't arrive and on checking tracking that Friday evening and Saturday morning it shows it as still being in Sheffield. 72 hours and over in their own depot, not moving, fot a paid extra 48 hour tracking service. Useless. The postman knocked my door on the Friday and I thought he was delivering my package but no it was to take one in for my neighbour and he confirmed there was no package for me. Royal Mail need not therefore lie, as apparently they have done to others, and say they attempted to deliver as this did NOT happen. Useless service. Businesses being let down by, in my view a, impoetent Royal Mail parcel service.”

“On the 2nd December I posted my friends sons birthday present. His birthday is the 11th December so I thought I had given it loads of time to arrive. I posted his present at Edlington post office using 1st class signed for, his present still hasn’t arrived and is still showing as accepted at the post office. I have sent a complaint to Royal Mail but still not heard anything. My husband went into the post office to enquire and they said it’s not their responsibility. I am so upset because the same thing happened a few months ago. You pay first class expecting the parcel to arrive the next working day. The ironic thing is I posted all of my Christmas cards the next day 2nd class through the post box outside Edlington post office and they have all arrived. I will not be trusting royal mail again, truly disgusting service.”

“Continuously not delivering mail for days at a time, then deliver all at once, losing items and taking 14 days to deliver some small packets because they missed the items in their bags and just threw them in a cupboard at the delivery office. Tired of these people and the lazy attitude. And 14 days to deliver from UK to Netherlands a small packet, with hardly any coherent updates.”
“Missed a delivery and as I work can't collect during their limited working hours. Went through rigmarole of downloading app to arrange redelivery and got through to end of process several times only to be told there was an issue please try again later on each occasion. I have previously had an issue when a birthday card with a £50 voucher was deemed too heavy so wouldn't post without payment of £1. Didn't get to the collection point in time and was told my letter was returned to sender but no return address so lost for ever . Royal Mail is a shambolic and non Customer service based entity”

“on 12 seperate occasions now i have ordered from sellers from amazon who used royal mail i have had to have 3 packages refunded because they never arrived despite being claimed they'd been signed for, 8 where late by a substantial margin 1 arrived on time and the last was due on the 2/12/21 and it is now the 3/12/21 with no idea where it is because it has been out for delivery for 5 days now XD company is a joke. “Never deliver, tracking apps say delivered, signatures are "X's" and dots and royal mail just say it was signed for... I really will not deal with them, I will not buy from online retailers using royal mail. I was a postman before they sold out. Well this is what we have now a waste of time and posties robbing customers. sooner they go under the better!”

“Royal Incomptence if you ask me. Was at home on Sat. awaiting delivery, Got text saying they "attempted to deliver but could not access" what a joke. No cards left. In description they said it could be because of snow! (really?!!! on 27/11/2021 there was 0.5 cm of snow and they couldnt do their job.).
I sincerly hope RM gets privatised fully. Good ridden.”
