“Worst delivery service this is 4th time this company is not delivered my items
They say the deliver on time but never happens
Pls anyone see this review I recommend you to not use royal mail is rubbish. I will Never again use this garbage service.”
“As a postie, the company is failing because of gross mis-management and greed from the top board.Taking everything they can from the money pot, wringing it dry, then employing 'inept ceo's,boardroom incompetent staff' that have never done the job, then coming up with ideas to make them more money for a service that has been ruined.Staff are leaving in droves, new contracts for new starters are atrocious, leaving the staff that are there to try to pick up the pieces, trying to deliver twice as much delivery items that cannot be done in our scheduled time.Management decision again. They are clueless.Morale is virtually nil,the staff no longer go the extra mile, frankly it will never return.Company I'm afraid is run to fail,500 Yrs old,its embarrassing.......”
“Fast Tracked a passport at the passport office in Liverpool. Got a text saying passport will be delivered by RM. Anyway, you can guess, passport did not arrive on the date stated. Went down to the local sorting office, only to find out that the passport had been stamped in Manchester, then sent to my local sorting office where it was STAMPED in, then lost.......... As you can image, I was mortified. Dealt with a duty manager, who really couldn't do very much apart from keep telling me it had not been found, and she is very sorry, she was very nice really. The issue was escalated to senior management - did I get a call or email from them, no - nothing - absolutely disgraceful, not even a letter in the post (LOL) to confirm the situation or apologies. Passport still not found, received another passport 4 weeks later. Not a happy bunny.... :(”
“Parcelforce delayed a valuable parcel £600 plus, giving no reason. When I complained they replied in a day by saying nothing more than for me to continue tracking the parcel. When I asked them to compensate the sender for the premium he paid for a 24 hour delivery (which now is more like 48) they replied that they only compensate if he fills in a lengthy form on their website. The customer servic does not investigate what happened to the parcel at all and their replies are all worded the same.SUMMARY: don't use Parcelforce, now a private company that rewards only CEOs and shareholders!!!”
“I am utterly disappointed and frustrated with my recent experience with Royal Mail. I had entrusted them with a highly valuable delivery which required guaranteed delivery and a signature from myself. Not only was this protocol disregarded, but the package was stolen from the delivery person.
I had expected the service, especially for such an important delivery, to be seamless and trustworthy. Instead, I found myself dealing with the stress and complications that arose from their negligence. What's even more frustrating is that I have provided proof of the stated delivery requirements and evidence supporting the incident.”
“Royal Mail. Its amazing, you pay for a service and it does not work, mail goes somewhere other than the intended recipient and they have a complaints procedure that does not work. Well done Royal Mail. Probably one of the most useless companies in the UK.”
“I sent a parcel abroad from a branch of royal mail. The man on the counter told me it should take about 7 working days to arrive. It's been 7 working days already and my parcel is still at the sorting depot in UK when I track it. So I called them today to check what's going on with that, only to be held 45 mins on the phone and then be told "because of unforseen circumstances, we cannot take your call, please call back later". Just lost an hour of my life waiting for them, got shut down lile that and they expect me to call them back again??? God knows where's my parcel and when it will reach the recipient.
Horrible service.
AVOID AT ALL COST”
“I moved house and acquired a redirection service. The mail went to the old address. I missed over 7 important letters. I sent a test letter to myself to the old address with Special Delivery Guaranteed Next Day. The test letter went to the old address. I contacted Royal Mail and provided evidence that the Redirection Service didn't work. They refused to put things right initially. When I attempted to call, their Customer Service dropped my call. Terrible service. I had to call over 10 times to get my money back for the service I didn't receive, including for Redirection and Guaranteed Next Day. They did everything possible not to give my money back. Only after I threatened with legal action, they gave my money back. The service was extremely bad. The treatment was extremely unfair. Avoid their redirection service by all means possible because you risk paying for nothing and getting no service, thinking your mail would be redirected. They are not Royal Mail but Royal Fail. It is a shame to use the "Royal" word for such a terrible service.”
“While moving house, paid for the redirection service which has totally failed. We have not received any redirected mail at all and today have to travel back to our old address to collect all the mail that has been delivered there. Over £80.00 for a service which Royal Mail have totally failed to deliver on!! Disgusting and they have done nothing about it since my original complaint which is now three weeks old, mail is still going to the old address. I am seeking a full refund and will take this matter to the claims court if I do not receive a full refund.”

“What an awful Royal Mail ''improvement''! Since July 10th we cannot simple drop off pre-paid items as easy as before! In my situation, closest Royal Mail Delivery office in Bredbury is opened only from 8am to 10am! What to do for people who work up to 2pm, or, on day off want to lay down longer? Next brach would be Stockport Central Delivery Office, there is 8-10 and 4pm-6pm hours. Its worst hours picked as its massive peak hours to drive. Now click and drop customers got to go to Post Office and leave all big and heavy boxes in their small shops? You may want to say book a free collection, well, I tried today and it says no slots available for whole week! And when there will be a slot, from mid August you gonna start charging for collection, wont be free anymore. RM, what are you doing with customers??? You really want us to leave somewhere else? There are plenty other couriers. You do not value your customers at all by making our life harder. Make dropping off parcels easier!”
