Customer service at Cramlington was by far the worst I have ever experienced. The thinking behind the female employees forehead is broken but she also said it was sainsburys rules so they both are wrong. The UK make laws not sainsburys.

Worst service give at the sainsburys greengates store. I would advise other shoppers to go elsewhere as Employees were rude and too busy gossiping to serve me properly. When i asked if and where they may stock a certain product they couldnt be bothered to check. The security guards have better manners than the actual staff they employ. I have personally overheard on numerous occasions a staff member name calling a security guard. I belive the security oficers name was jayed. Must be a horrible place to work as managers dont seem to mind the bullying. Very lazy attitude to shoppers is not good enough. Overall I would defintely not reccomend.

Appalling customer service, several phone calls, many emails, no one cared, lip service & blah blah blah avoidance techniques to an original complaint about a store managers attitude to a homeless man outside there store on there site in minus degrees, manager wanted him moved as he was making a mess & when a charity stepped in & helped this man they offered the charity £ 30 as" we dont have a big budget for this" quote from executive team. I was a customer of 25 years, appalling attitude to me & this charity has done nothing to turn this situation around. Would give minus star rating. Homeless man ended up being being a missing person, Sainsburys just wanted him off they're land.

I ordered a jumper online and was told it was on its way to the store Of my choice (Sainsbury’s Cheam Surrey) I received another email 5 days later to say it has been delivered to another store by mistake (Hayward’s Heath)which is 40 miles away from Cheam and they said I would have to collect it if I still wanted it. Would never order online again from sainsburys their customer service is incompetent.

Online delivery It started off very promising and the delivery guys are lovely. Unfortunately most of the produce had same day sell by dates ( even with 6.30pm delivery) or next day sell by dates. These products would be in the reduced section in a supermarket. I contacted Sainsbury’s and they said they have changed their policy and will only refund same day sell by date produce. That’s something but I don’t want my weekly shop to have one day sell by dates. Other online places show the days the produce will last. Unfortunately I think Sainsbury’s are using their online customers to get rid of all their nearly out of date goods. I would recommend going elsewhere.

I made an order online and received pieces of meat outdated of 2 days and other to consume on the same day. I am highly concerned by the freshness of their products and by the quality control made by Sainsbury's. I do not recommend to use their online delivery.

Went to local store South Ruislip the shelves were very empty, the store was dirty, I asked a member of staff where a product was as it had been moved from the usual area, he didn't look up & pointed to the ceiling! I've shopped there for 38 years, very disappointing to see it looking as though it's about to close.

Rarely use Sainsburys except when I have to. Had a run-in with their awful customer service ( call centre not store ) about unacceptable water content in "finest" mince. Eventually did get a reply from CEO's office but - really - shouldn't need to do this - the reply amounted to "that's how it is - tough". I only buy meat from my butchers or the market or Aldi now. Quality much much better and usually cheaper. My most used supermarkets are Aldi, ASDA, Waitrose ( and Tesco's which would be second if there was a local branch ). I just don't get the USP for Sainsbury's: it certainly isn't to do with quality now, and prices aren't cheap. Comment today is again some shelves not being restocked - especially in their fresh section. Also, their "Free From " sections both dry goods and fresh really are poor in range compared to Tesco and Asda. Looks like the merger with ASDA might be off - good - don't want ASDA to go downhill as well.

New ridiculous parking policies have been implemented at queens rd NORWICH. You have 30 mins free before you have to spend £10 in store to get a £70 fine. I was aware I’d gone over 30mins so I went to pay and display as I’d done previously and was told of the new rules implemented today. The attendant at the parking meters was sarcastic and rude, telling me I should have read the signs better... signage did not look different to the old signs and there was nothing obvious to let customers know the new rules that came into affect today!

Returned a pack of prepacked mixed fish was still in date but the smell was putrid. Threw the fish and only went in with my receipt the lady on customer services was rather ignorant and made me feel like it was my fault and it is acceptable to sometimes get some bad fish. Not what you expect from one of the leading supermarket chains. I still shop in the wakefield store but it would help to train people to speak to others how they would expect to be addressed.

I bought lazy vegan Friday Mexican meal and it was very easy to prepare 6 minutes in the microwave or 15 minutes in the oven. The meal was very flavourous and tasty.

every time I try to do my online shopping I manage to get a delivery booked then start to shop but never get any further than trying to order fresh fruit.Today i have wasted 30 minutes just trying to order bananas and grapes. The computer pops up a message at the bottom of the page saying there is a problem with the web site. This happens nearly every week no matter what time I try to order groceries. My daughter also had this same problem so now shops online at TESCOS NO PROBLEMS!!!!!!!!! I very often ring their HELP LINE and the reponse I usually get is they themselves think sainsburys web site is RUBBISH !!! I now do not recommend Sainsburys ONLINE SHOPPING

I DETEST going into Sainsbury's now, and each time I go into one of their stores, they ask to see my receipt, if I have a bag of groceries, that I purchased in another store. I always accommodate and show them my receipt, and everything I purchase from other stores, such as much cheaper stores like Lidl and Waitrose, is 100% verified by my receipts. This happened again yesterday in Sainsbury's at Wallington, and there was a Chinese girl serving me at the checkout. She asked to see my receipt, but only after a very incredibly rude male customer who was standing behind me, asked me if I was going to put my goods from my bag, onto the checkout. I asked him if he were a store detective working for Sainsbury's supermarket, and he replied that he was not, so I asked him not to cross examine me. It was then that the Chinese assistant asked to see my receipt. I gladly showed her, as I'd just been in Lidl in Wallington, as I had a voucher to spend there, and people do tend to multi-shop in the 21st century. Besides which, I work for the emergency services, and in the Police, Fire Brigade and NHS, you are police checked and have to have an enhanced DBS, so don't usually have a criminal record,or are prone to going round supermarkets, or any other retail establishments for that matter, on a thieving spree!!! Anyhow, she immediately verified that all was above board, and I would have even been happy to empty my bag of groceries onto the conveyer belt, that I'd just purchased via Lidl, so that we could tick each one off from the Lidl receipt, as I replaced them back in my bag. But, I feel this would have held up the queue for a good 10 minutes, which would not be beneficial. Therefore, for anyone who is reading this review and is utterly digusted, as I am, not least to the rude behaviour of the middle aged British man who seemed (like all British people unfortunately feel they HAVE to do), which is to poke his nose into other people's business, where it simply isn't called for!!!, but also the cash assistant, who, through his appalling behaviour, seemed to be backing him up on it. You will no doubt be of the idea that I now will NEVER EVER set foot into another Sainsbury's supermarket as long as I live and breath, out of principle, and even if I have to starve.

Went to the West Auckland store 9th February and purchased a piece of what was described as pork leg joint. Well all I can say it must have been a very old pig. It was without dought won of the poorest pieces of meat I’ve ever had, thank god we didn’t have guests. What made it worse was the Sainsbury’s over pricing, I’d have been better at one of so called budget super market. Needless to say I won’t be purchasing meat at Sainsbury’s again. I’m not happy.

Assaulted by Sainsburys delivery driver after asking home to move his van from across my driveway, I filmed him & toke pictures of him & his van, he lied saying I assaulted him, he has a record of violently attacking people. "WARNING FILM SAINSBURYS VANS".
