“I bought lazy vegan Friday Mexican meal and it was very easy to prepare 6 minutes in the microwave or 15 minutes in the oven. The meal was very flavourous and tasty.”
“every time I try to do my online shopping I manage to get a delivery booked then start to shop but never get any further than trying to order fresh fruit.Today i have wasted 30 minutes just trying to order bananas and grapes. The computer pops up a message at the bottom of the page saying there is a problem with the web site. This happens nearly every week no matter what time I try to order groceries. My daughter also had this same problem so now shops online at TESCOS NO PROBLEMS!!!!!!!!! I very often ring their HELP LINE and the reponse I usually get is they themselves think sainsburys web site is RUBBISH !!! I now do not recommend Sainsburys ONLINE SHOPPING”
“I DETEST going into Sainsbury's now, and each time I go into one of their stores, they ask to see my receipt, if I have a bag of groceries, that I purchased in another store. I always accommodate and show them my receipt, and everything I purchase from other stores, such as much cheaper stores like Lidl and Waitrose, is 100% verified by my receipts. This happened again yesterday in Sainsbury's at Wallington, and there was a Chinese girl serving me at the checkout. She asked to see my receipt, but only after a very incredibly rude male customer who was standing behind me, asked me if I was going to put my goods from my bag, onto the checkout. I asked him if he were a store detective working for Sainsbury's supermarket, and he replied that he was not, so I asked him not to cross examine me. It was then that the Chinese assistant asked to see my receipt. I gladly showed her, as I'd just been in Lidl in Wallington, as I had a voucher to spend there, and people do tend to multi-shop in the 21st century. Besides which, I work for the emergency services, and in the Police, Fire Brigade and NHS, you are police checked and have to have an enhanced DBS, so don't usually have a criminal record,or are prone to going round supermarkets, or any other retail establishments for that matter, on a thieving spree!!! Anyhow, she immediately verified that all was above board, and I would have even been happy to empty my bag of groceries onto the conveyer belt, that I'd just purchased via Lidl, so that we could tick each one off from the Lidl receipt, as I replaced them back in my bag. But, I feel this would have held up the queue for a good 10 minutes, which would not be beneficial. Therefore, for anyone who is reading this review and is utterly digusted, as I am, not least to the rude behaviour of the middle aged British man who seemed (like all British people unfortunately feel they HAVE to do), which is to poke his nose into other people's business, where it simply isn't called for!!!, but also the cash assistant, who, through his appalling behaviour, seemed to be backing him up on it. You will no doubt be of the idea that I now will NEVER EVER set foot into another Sainsbury's supermarket as long as I live and breath, out of principle, and even if I have to starve.”
“Went to the West Auckland store 9th February and purchased a piece of what was described as pork leg joint. Well all I can say it must have been a very old pig. It was without dought won of the poorest pieces of meat I’ve ever had, thank god we didn’t have guests. What made it worse was the Sainsbury’s over pricing, I’d have been better at one of so called budget super market. Needless to say I won’t be purchasing meat at Sainsbury’s again. I’m not happy.”
“Assaulted by Sainsburys delivery driver after asking home to move his van from across my driveway, I filmed him & toke pictures of him & his van, he lied saying I assaulted him, he has a record of violently attacking people. "WARNING FILM SAINSBURYS VANS".”
“Ordered shopping it never came so called the customer service who apologised and booked me a slot for the next day ..... again same thing happens again no show now my son has no packed lunch for school will never order again and will advise family and friends not to shop with Sainsbury’s”
“I always done my shopping at Sainsbury’s, however after the last few visits to Rayleigh weir and not even having stock of general fruit and veg is a joke. The most 3 recent home delivery’s Received had meats that expire the following day, bananas that looked like they traveled through Basra. I’m now swapping for Waitrose full time and to be honest Aldi’s fruit is much fresher for Half the price too, I don’t know where you sit in the market anymore as your not the cheapest, however your stock and service is ridiculous, I now have 2 different dinners to eat by tomorrow!!!”
“Do not order your shopping from sainsburys delivery driver has twice now not shown up at time adno call to advise why... No call back from customer service... Managers lie say they are in meetings... Taken money from my account but still no shopping no word on when its coming apology... Terrible service”
“I wanted to try ordering online with Sainsburys for the first time. First of all the online shopping is a lot worse than ocado, waitrose and tesco.. as you can't even leave or see reviews on products or make the picture bigger to view the products better. Then I ordered for 5 days later.. an hour before I was supposed to receive my shopping I got a call that I won't be getting it anymore. It was cancelled!! They said it's because my details matched a previous closed account. But that wasn't mine. So now I am here at home without my shopping. Never again!! Back to Ocado!!”
“Shopped at ST Clares store today just had to mention customer service is atrocious should take a leaf out of Waitrose's book. The difference is like night and day For a shopper like myself this makes a big difference Pleas take note
Unhappy shopper”
“MY DAY’S SHOP.
You asked me how my visit went ,
just as I left your store.
A message on my mobile screen,
appeared just like before.
So as the glass doors slid apart,
a warmth embraced by face.
I wheeled my empty trolley cart,
sedate and slow my pace.
First off some crimson raspberries,
did catch my roaming eyes.
So plump they were, so tempting,
so I took a box to try.
Next onward through fruit aisle,
trawling almost at a traipse,
I spied the finest of their ilk,
sweet Thompson seedless grapes.
Then further still an Autumn crop,
that’s truly Heaven sent.
The apples that pack such a punch,
Cox Pippins grown in Kent.
Yet further still my eyes were drawn,
soon by the cheese I stood.
And the Vintage Applewood I chose,
as nothing tastes so good.
I then set off to the checkouts,
past the fresh milk and cooked hams.
I just could not fight temptation,
when I spied some sweet plum jam.
And some fruity loaf to spread it on,
my day’s shop was complete..
I payed and left the warmth behind,
as I set foot on the street.

“I have some mental health and certain disabilities that affects what I can do,but whilst in sainbury's one day I needed assistance and few staff members came to help and was very helpful, as they walked round and pushed my trolley and picked some tins I needed and aided me with some heavier items and even bagged it up at the till for me, so thanks to all staff at sainbury's in farnborough Kent.”
