Ordered 2 x 2 seater sofas on finance (only paid £50 deposit, thankfully) in mid-August. Delivery date of 16/10/2020 came and went...no contact. I looked at the email I received with my order details and the phone number I gave was wrong. There were also additional charges such as some kind of cleaning solution and insurance. Called customer services and was told shortage of foam. Called every week since and last week I was told that it would be here 16/11/2020. The 4 week date in which I can cancel is tomorrow...how apt Friday the 13th. If I receive no call re delivery, I plan on visiting the store to cancel.

PLEASE AVIOD SCS!!!!!! very unlike me ,didn't read their review because I assume SCS is too big to be a scam I have never being so wrong. I ordered one color carpet for my entire flat on sept 5, fitter shows up 5 weeks later with 3 different colors of carpet , they managed to convince to allow the fitting and that they will come back on later date to remove the wrong once and refit the right once(another mistake). Never heard from them again being to the store countless number of times and spoken to over 10 different people on Phone they tell you what you want to hear just to get rid of you. Vyno for my bathroom never came no hope if I will ever get that. I am confused now don't know what to do.

The whole country is locked down due to COVID 19 but SCS asked us to pick up our carpet and the carpet fitter and then drop him off ( two sixty mile round trips)because he didn’t have a van . What type of monkeys do they employ to do their work. Absolutely disgusting behaviour to expect us to risk the virus to get their job done and at our expense. Do not use this company . Unprofessional in the extreme.

S'ervice' C'omplete 'S'hite Ordered a sofa and two chairs online 05/07/20 with an estimated delivery date of 18/09/20. Informed by email delivery date wouldn't happen and new revised date was 12/10/20 (advised in email that no terms/conditions had been broken therefore no refund would be offered at this time). 12/10/20 came and went. On 15/10/20 I received a txt message stating I would be contacted in next few days to arrange home delivery...... NOTHING! I used Online Customer Contact form a couple of times and tried calling several times (don't bother trying to call as only the payment sales team will bother to pick up). Finally a response from SCS on 28/10/20, Order won't be ready until 12/01/21!!! (and this is only estimate) Shortage of materials, flights delayed during Covid, orders overrunning (you name it, that was their excuse). I've used Customer Contact Form again asking for a refund........ AGAIN NOTHING. Please believe every bad thing you hear about SCS they're unbelievably shocking! Great ads, great offers but it's all nonsense. THEY NOW SPONSOR 'GINO'S FAMILY FORTUNES' and I can assure you its no coincidence all the contestants are standing.

Received delivery of sofa and 2 chairs in early October 2020.Two feet on sofa were damaged and one on a chair. Reported to aftercare service, with great difficulty, at that time. Today received an SMS message giving email address to send photos. Address does not exist. Again tried several times to contact aftercare, last time listening for 30 minutes before giving up.

Refuse to refund after delivery has been put back twice. It’s now nearly 3 months since we placed our order for a corner sofa. Not happy , customer service so rude too !

My experience with ScS was the most stressful, antagonising, and frustrating time of my life. I have had lots of experience with purchasing domestic items and occasionally, when things unfortunately were wrong, the companies, in general, strived to correct the problems and life carried on. Not so, with ScS, for myself. My issue was a faulty carpet. I had all the same problems as anyone else has written with, contact, phone-back, promises of dates, etc. ScS agreed to replace the carpet after six months of repeated contact instigated by myself, and when it finally arrived with the fitter, it had the exact same fault. I decided enough was enough and went the path of Small Claims Court to get a refund. They ignored all the relevant official letters until a County Court Judgment was served on them, after which, they repaid me. I dont believe that I would have got that result without resorting to the courts. It is a very easy process, and any costs can be claimed at same time. I believe that I should not commit any liable acts against ScS by down-voicing their operation, but if this review helps just one poor pending ScS customer to rethink their purchase then I will be happy.

Sofa was damaged on delivery. 5 weeks before it was collected. Still no refund after sofas were collected 12 days ago. No communication and impossible to get through by phone. Online contact form doesn't work as it doesn't recognise my post code even though they delivered there. Appalling customer service... In fact there isn't any.

I ordered a chair and two seater couch, they were delivered on 5th Oct. After the delivery i notice a bit ofdamage on the chair. To say that SCS are impossible to contact on this matter is an understatement, i have sent numerous emails, with pictures of the damage, but had no response what so ever. My last email stated that i am refusing to pay for the item, and that i want them to senda van to take the items away. I am completely at my wits end with this company. I am now going to have to contact the ombudsman to try and resolve this issue. I sure wont be recommending scs to any of my family and friends,. Absolutely disgusting way to treat customers!!!

Ordered 2 sofas and a carpet on the 17 th of July paid in full was told upto 12 weeks got near to date and hadn’t heard anything so called into the store to be told then it would be end of October now in November and had lots more dates and promises and still have no clue apart from them trying to get me to have my carpet fitting weeks before my sofas might come All stress No calls or emails or text to inform you what’s going on you have to find out yourself hours and hours to find out things Most companies have tracking in place these don’t haven’t go a clue where my sofas are Sales people are not bothered once they have your money Avoid avoid avoid avoid 6 months of stress and hassle and call after call and still no further ahead I want my money back please scs so I can buy elsewhere

Ordered a small unit 3 weeks prior due for delivery Jan got my other furniture else where and turns out no room for unit tried to cancel told no, no cancellation policy no one mentioned that!! Wrote to head office yes cancel it for 25 % of cost 89 pounds!! Shocking, just going ahead with order 69pounds delivery even more disgusting wish I had been warned I wouldn't have went into shop so beware there not very good conditions!! Gosh dont have order yet whats ahead.

6 weeks ago I had a stair carpet fitted by your recommended carpet fitter, I have a disabled son who is two to one care, the carpet is unsafe coming away at stairs have tried to speak to a manager tried to get someone to call me back, absolutely shocking aftersales no care no empathy I have had another carpet fitter out who has checked it he was absolutely shocked and says the whole thing needs replacing, I am absolutely disgusted with Scs leaving me in this predicament

On 6th Oct I bought a carpet and was told it would be fitted on 15th,after leaving the store I bought 2 couches to be delivered 18th, however when I got home I received a call saying now the carpet will be fitted on 5th November,so now I have 2 couches to move out the room for fitting,I'm 62 and not a spring chicken anymore,so I waited then today 3rd November I got a call saying it won't be fitted till the 11th now,I find once they have your money they don't care at all,their salesmen are liars just to get a sale and customer service don't give a toss,save yourself time and money and shop elsewhere.

Shocking at how poor the service is from SCS. I appreciate that we are in a new world and things can take s little more time, however we ordered 2 sofa's and paid in full in July, we have now had 3 delivery dates cancelled and still have no idea when we will be getting our sofa's. When the first delivery date was set on the day of sale, and that date arrived and passed, we contacted SCS who apologised and gave us a new delivery date. We accepted the new date and understand that with Covid it can be difficult to meet dates, however the second date came and passed, still no furniture, then a third date set by SCS came and passed, now they have not even given a proposed date, and have just said they will be in contact when they have them in stock, but could not be sure it would be this year! Horrendous... steer well clear of scs!!

Wrong carpet sent twice. Ordered grey they sent cream both times. Service is appalling. Had to get money back and order elsewhere. Would never use again. No tel numbers direct to store, after sales service is the worst experience I have ever had. Still waiting for a manager to get back to me a week later. Disgusting service.

Will never use again! Whilst the sales guys were friendly, they didn’t give me any paperwork when I purchased in store, when I got home I checked the email confirmation and realised 1 of the sofas were missing on the order? Instead they had added insurance and cleaning products to the same value! I attempted to cancel but another manager called me back and managed to save the sale after amending my order and free delivery charge, although told 9 weeks and it’s now 10 weeks with still no sign? Avoid Cambridge branch especially!

Ordered a sofa in July which is delayed due to a foam supply problem. This I understand these things can happen. However communication is garbage, we have been lied to and had little or no communication as to where our sofa is. Also trying to speak to someone on the phone at the store we ordered from is like getting blood from a stone. Don't bother ordering.

I ordered and paid for my suite the first week in August - £1100. It was supposed to be delivered in the first week of October. When I called on 7th to chase them, they said it would be 21st - no apology, no explanation. A few days before the 21st I got two text messages saying they'd be in touch about a delivery time within a few days. Guess what? Nothing. I have called them again and now been told there's a foam availability problem, but I still haven't got a clue where my sofas are or when I'll get them. I understand that there's a global pandemic, but this company's lack of communication and misinformation is dreadful. Let's hope I have them for Christmas and they're what I'm hoping. Currently on garden furniture as we moved house. Not good enough!
