I had a truly awful experience with Sedgwick Claims Management Services. They completely mishandled my small claim and used shady tactics to avoid paying what was owed. The entire process was a nightmare--from poor communication to constant delays, it was clear they were doing everything they could to find ways not to pay. It's no surprise that large corporations work with them; they clearly have no interest in serving the people or fairly processing claims. It's all about protecting the bottom line and finding ways to avoid accountability. I'm extremely disappointed in their practices and will be warning others to stay far away. Shame on them for how they operate.

You’re not sorry because you’ve had lots of complaints against this company and you’re not following your mission statement by any means. The only reason why you got one Star cause I had to in order to be able to put the message here I am dealing with a total neglect. case, and the caseworker, Megan, L Should be fired I don’t know how this company still in business. The employees don’t follow the rules that the company has put out in response to, and no one, no one ever ever answers the phone, so I don’t even know why you publish a phone number.

This company does not return calls when you have to leave a voicemail. You can NEVER get to speak with a live person.

My experience with Sedgwick Insurance has been nothing short of a nightmare after my vehicle was damaged by an Avis rental car. Sedgwick, Avis's insurance provider, has handled this claim with an appalling lack of professionalism and responsiveness. From the start, Sedgwick has shown little to no interest in processing my claim in a timely manner. I've had to chase down updates and answers on multiple occasions, only to be met with vague responses and endless delays. Despite providing all necessary documentation promptly, Sedgwick has stalled at every step, leaving my car repair needs in limbo. The representatives I dealt with, Thomas Highland and Tiffani Applewhite, displayed a dismissive and unprofessional attitude, only adding to the stress and frustration of this process. Instead of working toward a resolution, they seemed more focused on avoiding responsibility and giving me the runaround, with each interaction leaving me feeling like my claim is not a priority. If you're dealing with damage involving an Avis rental and Sedgwick is involved, prepare for a lengthy, frustrating process. This company’s handling of my case has been extremely disappointing, and I would urge others to be cautious when relying on Sedgwick for insurance support. Their lack of responsiveness and accountability, especially from Highland and Applewhite, is absolutely unacceptable, particularly when dealing with an issue that is already stressful enough.

The worst service. My company hired Sedgwick to manage my leave and it’s been nothing but a bad experience. They provide little to no information on leave benefits and give contradicting information. Such a waste of a companies money to hire someone to manage leave benefits that knows nothing about benefits. Calls at times before business hours.

Purposely delays process & provides vague misleading direction & information to not pay out short term disability. Will call you at random times in hopes you miss the phone call to delay further. Save yourself the headache and consult an ERISA disability lawyer to represent you from day one. Sedgwick is fraudulent and plays every dirty trick in the book to not pay out.

The company I work for used Sedgwick to take care of processing my FMLA family leave. I was pleasantly surprised that you actually talk to a Customer Service Rep right away. It was refreshing to be able to track a live person quickly. However, after submitting my forms via fax and email I was told everything was good. I called every day for two weeks to make sure my case was approved and after the first week I was told I filled the doc out wrong. No one called me, no one reached out to me, nothing. For another week I submitted and resubmitted docs after being told I’m good and then to find out my case is still pending. I returned back to work and they have only approved one week. My dr wrote a letter specifically for two weeks . I am still calling everyday to make sure my case is updated to be approved for the whole two weeks. I have spent so much time calling these people. Maybe better training is needed? I literally had one rep tell me they received my fax docs. Only to call back an hour later and another rep tells me they never received them. Then she was extremely rude on the phone also. Just a horrible experience to have to follow up on something when you have medical issues going on with your family. Horrible experience

So my wife has had trouble with them since the day she started her claim. They keep getting info wrong and every time she corrects them they act like it didn't happen. Somehow they pulled from thin air that my wife was supposed to go see her doctor after only being out for two weeks and they could only approve her up to the visit until she went to the doctor. The doctors never wrote anywhere about a follow-up, in fact the doctors wanted her out for 3 whole months. Still waiting for the back pay to come in after the two week period got approved. Now also waiting for them to approve the extension that the doctor has already sent them all the info for multiple times and they keep claiming they see nothing on their end. Next step is for her to set up a 3 way call between her, Sedgwick, and the doctors because Sedgwick is incompetent.

Truthfully, yes they are nice people to talk to but communication is just not good. Given so much incorrect info and takes a while before you get response. Sorry but Sedgwick needs to do better for when you are sick, you do not need additional frustration.

I was in an auto accident with a tourist on Kauai. The other driver was at fault. The agent assigned to me, Melanie Dollison, is on the East coast so that’s a 6 hour time difference so it’s have to call really early before work. She rarely answers her phone and she will not return messages or emails. I tried to call the number of her supervisor which is on the message of her voicemail but it’s been disconnected. The body shop that is fixing my car needed supplemental funds and she won’t return the body shop’s messages. I can’t get my truck back until she pays. I asked about a rental and she said that I have to pay for it and then get reimbursed. I don’t have the money for a rental.

Sedgwick by far was the most caring and efficient company I had working with me after my accident at work.

I would give zero stars if I could. Since my spouse's company started using Sedgwick for FMLA, we've had nothing but extra stress added to our already stressful situation. I would love to call out a specific person by name who's made our lives hell with their lies and run around for the past two years. It takes a half hour to convince the person answering calls to let you even leave a message for a supervisor. I don't think there really are supervisors. No one's doing their job

I had a total loss of a piece of essential equipment at my business. The claim went to Sedgwick to handle and pure and simple, it was a nightmare. I founded and ran two businesses, one for 35 years, the other going on 13 years. A quick settlement was crucial. It was a very straight forward settlement that was bungled and pass around when my "REP" unexpectedly whent on vacation. The settlement took months. If check wiith your insurance company to see who settles the claims. My insurance company did a good job on a smaller claim years before, but this added unbelievable stress and financial burden and crippled my business for a good two years, not to mention the loss growth. Their website spiel would make a snake oil salesman proud!

The Absolute worst! The lowest of low level of SCUM insurance rats in the business! And the clients they represent are just as bad. Can't believe laws allow them to do what they do!
