“Terrible customer service!
Purchased over £300 worth of furniture but order never confirmed. Payment was taken from me.
I called and was greeted by a very rude male service member who informed me it wasn't their fault but to send an email.
Email was ignored for 3 days, despite me chasing daily. Called today and was cut off in the queue 5 times before my call was answered.
Customer service rep said to put through the order again but the discounts I applied at the time had now expired. Said that I could pay full price and they'd try and refund the discount if I got in touch after I made the order but given that I'd already had a terrible experience contacting them I decided I'd purchase somewhere less shady and incompetent.”
“No compren aquí. Pedido realizado el 4 de Junio del 2022 de varios muebles de jardín con fecha estimada de entrega 28 de Junio y 4 de Julio. El 29 de Junio me informan vía email de un retraso y que la nueva fecha prevista es 25 de Julio. El 20 de Julio me llega un nuevo email que ahora la fecha prevista es 6 de Agosto. Yo puedo entender que se den imprevistos pero no es admisible que en su página web sigan ofreciendo estimaciones de entrega de estos productos en plazos que a mi con compra realizada ya hace meses no están cumpliendo. Es una forma engañosa de conseguir ventas. Los muebles de Jardín los quería para el verano pero a este paso me llegan para invierno. Llamé varias veces al teléfono 910 21 04 65 de atención al cliente que es un número fijo de pago. Tras 5 llamadas y mantenerme en espera varias veces 15 minutos con la música para ser colgada la llamada igualmente finalmente conseguir hablar con Eric. No será culpa suya pero la ayuda y empatía fue 0. Ni disculpas, ni soluciones y mucho menos aclaración final de cuándo llegarán los productos. No puedo hablar del producto porque desafortunadamente no he llegado ni a verlo pero es terrible que esta empresa tenga mis 552,60€ desde hace 2 meses y que sigan engañando a los consumidores y vendiendo bajos engañosos periodos de entrega que han demostrado que ellos ya saben que no pueden cumplir. Puedo adjuntar emails y registro de las llamadas.”
“Avoid this company at all costs. I’ve never dealt with an organisation so awful.
Ordered a wardrobe on the 25th May. Delivery due within 7/10 days. This time scale passed so I chased with them (on social media as no-one answers the phone number). I was told there were delays with shipping. I said it would have been nice for this to have been communicated to customers.
Weeks later I receive an email to arrange delivery. I requested that the wardrobe is left outside my house as the only time they could do I was at work. I also agreed this with a delivery driver in text messages.
The driver calls me on the day to say they are not insured to leave the wardrobe outside the house so he’s taken it back. We rearranged delivery for the following day when I would not be at work. My husband unboxed the wardrobe and it was a complete mess. Most panels dented and marked (it’s a metal locker style). The bottom pieces are warped and bent too.
I contact customer services to be told to fill in an online form within 48 hours and attach pictures. I did this. I heard nothing for weeks so I chased again. I was asked to email pictures. I explained I had sent pictures but did it again through email. I wait and chase again. I then was asked to fill in a PDF showing which panels are dented. They did not attach the PDF to the email. I chased this. They sent the PDF so I marked all the affected panels.
I have had to chase again this week as I’ve had no contact. I was told by the gentleman on the phone (who eventually answered!) that because I had emailed again that I had gone to the bottom of the list. I should have waited 5/6 days for a reply from the after sales team. I explained my last reply was nearly 2 weeks ago so their 5/6 period had passed and I had to chase AGAIN.
I received an email to ask for photographs that are labelled with the letter of the panel on the PDF.
I just want my money back. I do not want this wardrobe anymore. I do not want to ever order for this company again. I just want my money back. My little girl’s clothes are in bags in her bedroom whilst we wait for this wardrobe.
The gentleman on the phone assured me he wanted to sort it as he was ‘tired’ of my situation!
I’ve now waited over 2 months for this wardrobe that was £359 of my money. I’ve never know anything like it. I’m jumping through hoops and getting nowhere. Customer service is either absent or downright rude. The social media team are now also ignoring me.
Please do not order from Sklum.”
“BAD. MUY MAL.
This is the worst company. I ordered the Menfis Teak TV Stand. The first one was damaged and I returned it for an exchange. The second also arrive damaged and I tried to return it. Damaged so badly it couldn't be put together.
First customer service is only available on Monday 9-4 and Friday 9-2. I received it on Friday at 8pm. The following Monday was a holiday and customer service was closed. So the first time I could call was the following Friday. I also emailed and tried to do the online return which wouldn't work.
When I called on the following Friday they refused to take the return.
When I posted a review saying so they said that it was my fault for not returning during the 48 hour window.
I tried every way to contact with no availability since the customer service option is only available on certain days and if it is on a holiday you can't contact.
This company is the worst.
Now I have a broken piece of furniture that I paid 269 Euro for.

Ordered a set of garden chairs. Both chairs broken. Notified SKLUM within a reasonable timeframe but they said its outside 48 hour period and refuse to offer a replacement.
Quality of products is poor and customer service worst of all online retailers i have experienced.
Warning to All … AVOID !”
“Unfortunately the smell of the table doesn't go away and I can't put the table in a room. It's probably the white paint they're using. I have to leave the table in the house because I don't want to damage it, even though we all have to smell this poison every day. The service is very slow and they ask to take 10 photos of the product where of course you can't see the smell. Now they require me to buy a new transport box to pick up the table. It's a joke that we have to pay for poor quality”
“Drie dingen besteld (bestelnummer BJCLPCDBJ):
1. De lamp Arleth is onvolledig. Hierdoor kunnen we de kap niet bevestigen en er is ook schade aan de voet van de lamp.
2. Bij de lamp Clayt was de doos heel erg beschadigd, dit resulteerde dus ook in een beschadigde voet van de lamp.
3. Daarnaast hebben we een buffetkast met deuren van Ralik besteld. Hierbij was een schroef geleverd waarbij er geen inbus uitsparing was op de kop van de schroef.
Wij verzochten om dit op te lossen, maar men reageerde na enige tijd wachten enkel met de melding dat wij een contactformulier moesten gebruiken. Na herhaald verzoek vroeg men opnieuw na enige tijd wachten om binnen de 48u na ontvangst melding te doen in de klantenzone, terwijl we dan al verschillende weken verder waren. Nooit heeft men een poging gedaan om ons te helpen.”
“I bought a sofa from Sklum about 7 months ago for about 750 euros. The delivery was horrible as the guy just left the boxes with the pallets outside our door and left. Then two months later the couch broke while just sitting on it and ever since there is a quite visible and uncomfortable hole in the middle of the couch. We are trying to contact Sklum for 5 months now but they don't reply to our emails or calls. We have finally opened a case with the European consumer protection authorities..”
“They sent me a broken product and then replaced it with another broken product. Now they do not respond to my emails and delete my messages from their IG account. This company is a scam”
“I ordered two bar stools and one had a broken mechanism. They have since sent a replacement part which does not fix the problem. Now they are not responding to my emails. I do not recommend!”

I order two times - and two times they sent DAMAGED PRODUCTS! first time i fixed the table myself and didn't file the complain.
The second time I ordered a bar chain which mechanism was damaged and it wasn't working!!
When i went to request for a return - their site and "service" were not allowing me to upload the pics of the damaged mechanism of the chair - thus, not allowing me to finalise my complain and return! it's an endless circle of buying damaged products from them and then not allowing for file for a return and not returning the money! They are really the worst shop i've ever experienced. NEVER EVER AGAIN I'LL ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM!”

“Ordered three kitchen stools all were damaged, only way to get refund was to send them back and pay shipping myself, due to being based in mainland Europe the cost to send from the UK was equal to the refund. No replies from customer service, despite multiple attempts and photographic evidence. AVOID!!”
“Insane level of service, never again.
- Ordered for 1200+ (order id: RYYNOYIDM ), gets a free delivery - nice.
- Sklum splitted an order into two deliveries, the first - right away, the second - one month later. It was ok since we knew of limited availability.
- The first delivery took a week, at the same time they promised to make it 3-4 days. We've got zero notifications on possible late.
- After month of waiting I've got email that my second shipment is postponed for 4 months (!!!). Still not a single call or email questioning if this option is suitable for me. Yeah, just took my money and will deliver something in a half of the year.
- I reached out to them, asked for cancelation of this postponed part of the order and money refund, asked also whether it will be a subject of any charges, they said "no". But 2 days later I got email that they charged me with a delivery payment, as the order became less than 1200.
- More than a month passed - still no money. During this time I reached out to support 3 times, every time they said nothing but "we will try to speed it up" (I bet it means that they don't give a fuck), last time they said "oops, there was a mistake, we actually didnt make it, but now we did", it was yesterday, still waiting for my money.”
“They sent me a broken sun bed with pieces missing and refused to replace it or take it back. They told me that it had taken me 5 days to let them know, and their policy is 48 hours. I explained that the law protects the consumer and that I actually had far more time to notify them, but they didn't care. What they do is illegal and immoral. Do not buy from them. Disgraceful.”
