“After ordering a segway and cart for my daughter birthday she was delighted with it on her special day. The next day the front wheel bent on the cart. After contacting your customer service only to be told there was nothing they could do about it apart from send another wheel with £10 shipping charges which I had to pay. I dont think this is acceptable after using it for one day and was told the cart has no guarantee. I think I have been totally ripped off by buying this product and my daughter is soo upset. The customer service is apalling and I will be seeking further advice.”

“Purchased a gold chrome model online, even had an email to say it's been despatched only to get a call later that day at 4pm to say it wasn't in stock! Asked for a call back in 20 mins so I could check if a normal chrome version would be ok as it was for a present, didn't get a call back. Sent an email that evening saying I wasn't happy then had a call following morning and we took the chrome option as we were desperate as it was for my nephews birthday. He opened it yesterday to find the were two marks where the chrome had rubbed off, really disappointed but too late in the day to ask for an exchange”
“Ordered Gold on Friday and received a message saying it had been posted on Monday. Happy days. Then on Thursday I received a message saying they had sold out and the only colour available was green. At this point no cancellations could be made. Waste if money.”
“The Swegway itself is perfect. No problems. However I ordered the chrome gold paid for. Great! Next day delivery ... however 2 days later nothing.. emailed the company worried. They rang me to say that colour was no longer in stock! So had to choose another colour. Son was a little disappointed. I had paid extra for the Bluetooth and carry bag. So the next day Swegway came Bluetooth fine but where was the bag? ... exactly another phone call had to be made. So a little disappointed really. 3 days down the line all going out my way chasing things up received Swegway now waiting for the bag which isn't really a problem. Just a little disappointing as I could have ordered the colour I wanted off a different site if it would have stated out of stock on this one. Thanks. Hope this helps.”
“Unfortunately my experience has been far from smooth. Firstly, it seems the website is rarely updated to show correct stock. My son chose a particular Swegway and the order confirmed. Happy days...! Well that's what we thought anyway. I received the relevant emails confirming receipt of order and a tracking number to check on delivery. 3 working days later, still no formal update. I rang the contact number on the website to be told, after some initial delay, that the colour my son had chosen for his Swegway was out of stock! When would I can been advised? We were expecting delivery at this point! 2 more colours were chosen and were shown as in stock on line but were out of stock when checked on the phone. My son then settled for a chrome limited edition one powered by a Samsung battery. On delivery, I was disappointed to see that no instructions were included within the packaging and it wasn't in an official Swegway box and nothing showed that we did in fact have a Samsung battery. I contacted the telephone number again and they were able to confirm verbally that I had got what I'd ordered but in my mind, words are cheap. I'm still waiting for a set of instructions and a carry bag which was promised as a gesture of goodwill. The wait continues...”
“X-Trail board £499 at xmas, used 10 times or less and refuses to charge, technicians have said the batteries are knackered. Conveniently as its a week over 6 months these people say that the batteries are only on 6 month warranty ( See if you can see that clearly stated on here folks) and I need to pay another £70 for battery. I have declared my legal rights in writing but conveniently they will not answer my emails at all. I am another one of the very many disgruntled customers. Work it out - 10 rides at £49.99 each plus £70 for replacement of " premium samsung or LG battery ". I am not a MUG ! BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE !”

sent it back as it judders and threw my son off injuring him.
It cost me £20 to send it back and a further £20 for a repair even tho I legally should have 12 month guarantee..
the fault still persisted...I had another Swegway purchased on eBay the gyro went on it so I replaced it myself...in the box with the new part was a check list ...LISTEN UP UKSWEGWAYS JUDDERING IS NOT OPERATOR ERROR IT IS CAUSED BY THE FOOT PLUNGERS EITHER WEARING OR NOT TRIMMED CORRECTLY...you can imagine I'm very angry as he only had it 1 week and it threw him off not enough time for wear and tear...
By the way I'm an electronics engineer and will not be buying from you again the batteries in your Swegways are not badged up at all as either samsung nor lg Since you didn't go not your statutory obligation of 12 months guarantee I didn't see the point in not looking inside myself ...be wary your statutory rights are affected with this shocking company..

“Segboard arrived broken hovercart missing then took five days for them to send new one and take old one customer services is so bad it's unbeliveable still waiting for a managers call back and it's been 5 days so far still no call back no one has put this bad service right they ruined my daughters birthday who's 8 and they did not care I'm now 90 pound out of pocket due to Swegways messing me round four days I waited in for deliverys being told it was put on truck when not next day delivery is obvisually a lie still utterly disgusted in this service and they discriminate against disability ur health does not matter to them they left me having panick attacks due to the stress they put me through and very ill I would not recommend this service as if U have to go through what I did it's so not worth it my products cost me £250 on top because they messed up delivery told me they was going to refund me 70 pounds still waiting now they said no so it's all lies and they just reali do t care so all in all I paid 250 for product and lost 90 pound due to there time wasting and messing me about telling me to take time off work then the product still don't turn up it's was more like than s bad expirence they left me with no choice to keep the product or wait up to 14 days for a refund on an item they sent broke and missing cart so my daughter never got this to after her birthday as all swegways do is lie munilpulate and take advantage of disabled customers how do u lie still no one has resolved this they left me out of pocket upset ill stressed and u can't complain or speaks to manage my or customer service nor will they tell u whom owns the company and an address to righ to disgusting and there is other uk site uksegboards my mate had no problems lovely customer service product arrived on time deffo would not say to but from here also boards say made in China on them there same as 140 boards on eBay batter black box has chosen writing and states it's made in China so avoid this site if u want a good service and product for u money p.s if swegboards manger could contact me as six days is a long waiting time still awaiting a callback when I check they they said shel ring me Thursday no luck still being lied to customers are not important only there money once they got that u do t stand a chance”

“Brand new first time my son used it and it threw him off ...was lied to when I paid 40 quid more for repair which should have been under guarantee they never fixed it either...I 've since found out that it is the rubber pads that are too long not worn as they made out ...after all it's brand new...any way I'm an electronics engineer I've another sweg not from them I've just replaced the gyro on that one myself works great now...”
