Terrible experience. Purchased a pair of shoes. They arrived damaged. I was told to send them back and show the postage receipt and they will release a new pair. I had no confirmation once I sent the photo of receipt. So I then tried to call and they kept on hanging up on me. Then finally got through and was told everything has been arranged. Then got an email to say there out of stock which isn’t the case as I can clearly buy them off there website which say’s instock for next day delivery. I go on holiday tomorrow and I’ve spent most of my day chasing ted baker customer service. And no shoes. Really bad experience. I have never left a negative review like this before I’m so angry.

I have placed a delivery for next day and paid extra they chose this useless evri courier service … which never delivers on time… after paying so much for an expensive things and they do not get delivered on time… what a hope less company is a ted baker and they customer service is not reachable at all… pathetic and disgusting

Placed an order for a dress one month ago, 2 weeks before an event. The dress arrived 3.5 weeks later! No apology whatsoever, no reason why. Costumer service ignored my calls or emails. In the end I went to a shop to get the dress directly from there and was a terrible fabric, almost transparent which was not specified in the dress description. Appalling service.

Absolutely Shocking service! Paid extra for next day delivery as it was a gift. Parcel still hadnt turned up 6 days later. So looked to return the item and they want to charge me £3 to return it! After I've already paid £5 for next day delivery!

First pair of boat shoes I bought arrived damaged so bought a second pair and to my amazement, the shoes were not the same, as one was a much paler colour than the other. As the paler one had the sales sticker on the sole, I can only assume that this one had been on show while the other one stayed in the box. When I saw my size was then sold out online, clearly it was the last pair they had and had been returned from a store. Appalling quality control or taking the customer for a mug. Forget the hype and stay well clear of this level of appalling service as I will. Also, their customer service is very slow at responding to issues and have to be chased. Still had no reply!

I returned a dress as unwanted and they returned a dress of the same style but in a different size to me two weeks later saying the tags had been removed. Absolutely shocking customer service. I now don't have a wearable dress (as the one they returned is not my size and is damaged) and nor do I have my refund. I'm out of pocket and basically being called a liar. No customer service standards whatsoever. There is something seriously amiss with this company!!! I really would advise anybody reading this not to buy from Tacky Turd Baker!!

Don't waste your money and time. I bought a gift set online and was told it would be dispatched within 3-5 days as per standard delivery. On day 4, I called to check and was told it would arrive the next day. It didn't. Checked again on day 7 and was told to expect it the next day. It didn't arrive. Today is day 10 and the parcel is not even with the courier. When I called customer care, the agent tried to blame me by saying since I paid for standard delivery, nothing is guaranteed. OK? If it had been dispatched on time as promised, I would have it, no? I am leaving the country and won't be at the address when the order arrives but I've been told I can't cancel and get a refund. It's a waste of time, energy and money, and is certainly the worst online shopping experience I've had. I will actively discourage anyone from patronising Ted Baker. There are better high street fashion outlets with similar items and quality that won't disappoint you.

I have only shopped with TB online on a couple of occasions and am disappointed with the service. It indicates on their website that standard delivery is within 3-5 days - I've been waiting 10 days and still no sign of my item. I've asked to cancel the order but they've advised it has been dispatched but they cannot advise when it will actually arrive. After reading other reviews this isn't an isolated incident either so will definitely not be ordering from again, which is a shame because the clothes are lovely - a shame about the service.

Excellent Service from the Lovely Philip @ the Buchanan Street Store he helped me order A dressing gown and purse for my friends Birthday on the Ipad as it was not available in store if it wasn't for him approaching me as I was leaving the store I wouldn't have got it ..Many Thanks .

Ordered a wallet in black but they sent it in the wrong colour. Returned it and requested they send the correct one in black. Received the item the next day but again in the wrong colour! Such poor service!!!!! Never ordering from the again. Waiting for a refund now and to be compensated for all the time I’ve wasted with trying to speak to someone to sort it out!

After bad experience over at the 02 outlet, Callum at the Braintree outlet was absolutely amazing and restored my faith back into ted baker! Great asset to ted baker who goes above and beyond to help a customer!

I bought a top from the Manchester store to try on with a skirt at home. I noticed it had some make up on the collar but thought I could wash it. It didn't go with the skirt so I went to take it back. I pointed out the makeup stain to the assistant but she Inferred I had done that and that the top smelt of perfume. The top didn't smell of perfume and I had never worn the top which is what she was trying to infer. I know the company is in dire straits financially but I will never shop there again now. There customer service was shocking and I have never had this happen to me before. I dont know whether they get a lot of people wearing their clothes and then taking them back but I would never do that and feel totally upset and angry that they were able to accuse me of doing something I hadn't

I placed an order for two car coat jackets in a size 6.I Received the jackets and found out they were way over sized so I returned both jackets for a size 5. They exchanged one jacket in a size 5. So I emailed them several times and even called them to ask for the second jacket. I have been arguing with them for months why they haven’t exchanged or refunded me for the other jacket? They kept returning my emails with some stupid automated system saying please show proof etc. I have shown them my complete order with invoice number and all and they keep giving me the run around saying I only returned one jacket. This makes me so angry how they can be so I unorganized and tell me I didn’t exchanged the other jacket and play dumb. I have sent proof of the total transaction and images and they continue to play dumb. Now I absolutely had it with this company and will file fraud against them for stealing my money of $800 for a jacket I never received back. Shame on you Ted Baker for having the worst customer service and not caring for your customers. Never order from this company!!!

I ordered 2 dressing gowns (same style different sizes) - when they arrived they had sent me the incorrect items! Items did not match the picture from the website…picture showed long dressing gown, the short version arrived. Item was returned on 17th January. I emailed to advise and I received an email to say they would inspect the flaw and only if they deemed the item to be faulty would they send a refund! It was clear they hadn’t read my email - I replied to say the items weren’t flawed they’d sent me the wrong items. After many emails to customer service (they take many days to get back to you!) I received an automated email saying credit was being processed - when I checked my PayPal account they hadn’t credited my P&P cost. I went back on to customer services and asked why I should be out of pocket for them sending me the wrong items. I have since received credit for P&P charge but the cost of the incorrect dressing gowns is still showing as pending in PayPal and not actually hit my account yet (20 days after they received item back!). I am £98 out of pocket! Ted Baker you should be ashamed of yourself; I receive far superior customer service from perceived lower end brands! I’m afraid your mantra should be changed to ‘a very ordinary designer!’

I bought a dress from Ted Baker to wear for my brother's wedding, it looked beautiful online and when it arrived. After one wear the dress marked and stained, it was even marked by a water spill! The material was like tissue paper, it was so porous it picked up everything. I returned the dress with the details and the quality department deemed the dress was fine despite it being unwearable. A very expensive mistake I won't make again. The customer service was terrible, despite numerous calls and emails they didn't even attempt to put the matter right. Not the experience you expect from a quality brand, very disappointing. The dress is now heavily discounted on the site so I can't be the only one having problems.

TERRIBLE customer service. I bought a purse, handle broke after less than 2 weeks. Emailed Ted baker customer service to ask about warranty, exchange or refund. Was told to send purse back and sent a returns portal to use. Did exactly what they asked... sent bag back. Over a month later I cannot get a hold of anyone at Ted Baker... I have emailed many times. VERY Frustrated to be out $300 and sent the broken bag back and still haven't been give a refund.

On December 17 I purchased a backpack online that cost me 59€. Before I proceeded with my order though, I checked whether there would be any import duty charges for me as I don't live in the UK. On the website it's clearly mentioned that they take care of that and there are no hidden costs! Yet, when the item reached my country and I went to the post to pick it up I was informed that I had to settle the import duty costs! It was around 24€, not much. But the fact that they claim transparency and finally end up misleading their customers is disappointing and frustrating. And of course their client service is non-existent. Never buying Ted Baker again.

Ordered a jacket on Cyber monday. A month later order was cancelled because item was "out of stock". Looked on the website and It was available just for $100 more.
