No you cannot trust teletext holidays do not touch them with a barge pole. I’m still waiting 3700 pound refund from a holiday cancelled in May. When you ring to discuss this they are really nice until they realise you are not going to purchase another holiday at scandalous high costs. When you reiterate you want a refund they are then either very rude Or put the phone down. The next step is legal action. AVOID TELETEXT HOLIDAYS AT ALL COSTS.

Would not touch this company at all !!! Booked holiday and turned up to our hotel for it to be closed ! No phone call off teletext to let us know got told to go to a different hotel and pay full amount to stay there for a week. Then for told we would get our refund in 5 working days . 7 days later no refund then got told they had to wait on confirmation off the hotel to prove they were shut... 14 days later still out our money for holiday plus another £700 for the hotel we had to pay out ourselves. 100% WILL NEVER BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN !!!

This is my first time booking with teletext and never again. Customer service must be amongst the worst I have ever dealt with. Like many customers, my holiday was cancelled due to covid. All my payment were made to teletext yet they told me I have to claim my flights back from Ryan air myself. Thankfully Ryan air paid out but the money went to teletex who told me they have not received any payment from Ryan air. I told them that I have the email to prove otherwise and I was basically called a liar. I was then told that part payment would be received in October. When I called to check when in October I was then told that I would not be receiving any payment in October. When I queried the Ryan air payment again I was totally blanked. I asked when the payment could be expected now and I was not given a definitive answer. The person on the phone got really annoyed that I asked the question. We seem to be at the mercy of incompetence, surely it cannot be that difficult to refund, especially when there is no difficulty taking payments, which I may add have always been on time. Who knows when we will get paid out. Some of my friends and family who booked with other companies after my holiday date in June have already been paid out, so why can't teletext. Never again, you have lost another customer and most likely many more.

We have been waiting since May for a £600 refund without success. We decided to try and rebook, but when we did we were offered a price on a holiday and when they realise that we are a "Rebook" they put us through to another department who tried to charge us about£400 extra for the same holiday. Bunch of cowboys and would not use again STEER CLEAR. We are now using something called"Resolver" to try and get our money back.

Not sure how Teletext can say they have a customer service department No call backs even though promised. No response to emails. Ineffective CHAT facility with staff lacking any travel knowledge. No reply to recorded and signed for letters to all office addresses Uxbridge, Vauxhall Bridge Road and one to the CEO Daniel Taylor. It is £2400 I am awaiting and there are no issues about whether I am due a refund, flights and hotel cancelled. I have heard nothing. Yet, still I receive day in day out emails offering me holidays with great deals. I advise anyone thinking of using TELETEXT dont do it, look somewhere else, they are charlatans masquerading as a travel company.

A very unreliable company. Still waiting to get a refund of my holiday from April . This company owns me £ 1400. Have sent many many emails with no reply as to when I am getting my money back. Please do not book your holiday with them !!

Have to give 1star cos can’t leave review otherwise. Really should have ‘minus’ stars just for this company. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Cancelled my holiday in April, STILL trying to get my refund mid October - over £1600!! They don’t respond to emails. Wait over an hour to speak customer services and been promised every time it’ll be the end of the month! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Holidays in less then 2 weeks and I still haven't received all documentation. Customer service agents are extremely rude and lacking customer skills. Not worth the 1 star I have to give.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS ME BY BOOKING WITH THIS COMPANY AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!! This company deserves to be shut down with the way they have handled the whole COVID situation. My holiday was booked for 7-14 August and when I contacted them about the new government guide lines I was told they will not cancel the holiday (TT763018) and if I don't go I will lose all my money. I contacted my insurance company who said as long as I get confirmation that I will not be receiving a refund it will be sorted. Teletext said I had to go to Ryan air for a confirmation of no refund which I received straight away. I contacted teletext again and they replied that they had no confirmation that I had not stayed at the hotel. After receiving confirmation from the hotel I rang teletext explaining the situation to which they replied we have not had confirmation of a no show at the hotel. I replied I have and I have sent it through to customer support 60 times by e-mail and at this point the line goes dead . This has happened every time I spend 50 mins on the phone trying to get through to get it sorted. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS FIRM IF THERE ARE ANY PROBLEMS THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED I would give minus 10 stars if possible

TT734383 Cancelled holiday beginning of June, endless calls, emails and a promise of getting my refund, and yet nothing! It’s seems that through social media there are too many people in the same situation as me, they have had the money back from the flights and hotel and still I haven’t had my refund! This is an absolute disgrace for a company to behave this way, I have used Teletext for decades, and never could find fault until now!

I should give zero stars. Holiday cancelled May 20, no refund as of yet. Only a credit note which I have rejected. TT776538. Teletext said they have been refunded by the hotel but won't pay me credit until Ryanair refund them for the flight. I know that Ryanair have processed that refund now, SO WHERE IS MY HARD EARNED MONEY TELETEXT? Give me the cash refund that I am legally owed. Only too quick to take my money, not too enthusiastic to return what doesn't belong to them. How much have they earned in interest payments from other people's money? PAY YOUR DUES TELETEXT.

I have been awaiting my refund from my cancelled holiday in August due to the impact of coronavirus. I have asked time and time again for a refund to be called many times by different sales representatives trying to sell me holidays. I was then sent a credit note which I have not asked for to be told to email the company asking for a refund to be given a wrong email. I am so stressed, upset and feel totally robbed by the company. Never again will I book with you and legal action will be taken. I feel ROBBED.

They keep money that does not belong to them. 4 months waiting to be told lie after lie. The staff are rude and don't know left from right. Disgusting company and never will use them again or recommend them. They are no better than scammers or fraud.

I was recommended a holiday by Teletext and foolishly paid for it. I mentioned the destination to a family member who as it happens uses the same place but tells me that he has never had anything stolen even though thieving is rife!!! Unable to back out of the deal I then ordered a spy camera and purchased a SIM card for a month to take with me. We flew with Jet2 on 23/02/2020 bound for Tenerife even though the Airport had been shut down the previous day (sandstorm)and was still shut as we took off,!!! we were directed to Alicante awaiting instructions for two and a half hrs and then flew back to the Uk, needless to say the holiday was cancelled by Jet2. The flight money was paid back to Teletext the next month, at my earliest convenience I sent email after email demanding my money back, not once was there a reference to the £1444 I had paid except to tell me that they are waiting for a refund from the hotel! to this day I am still waiting but not for long, I’ve written a letter to the MAIL newspaper explaining my case in detail owing to the fact that I got a very favourable outcome the last time I got SHAFTED.

Will NEVER use Teletext Holidays again in my life. Rudest bunch of people I’ve ever encountered. Got promised a 100% refund Tuesday and a confirmation email within 48hrs, and a refund by end of September. Call up again today (Friday), as no such email arrived. APPARENTLY It’s MY problem COVID is about and I should still go on my holiday to a CLOSED country 🤣 Holiday still not cancelled. Maybe worth Trading Standards listening to those calls!! Speak to my CC company mate....court case to come.

Everything, no written confirmation of holiday cancellation, no information on my refund of nearly £5000, we are a low income family that have saved extremely hard for this holiday and have been fobbed off at every turn. The lack of customer service is ridiculous as they simply do not care. We have asked to speak to managers and get call backs and they do not bother, I am now starting to look into legal proceedings. Disgraceful

BOOKING REF TT805234. Confirmation received FULL payment made 2 weeks later no travel vouchers /flight tickets,no access to my on line account ,booking ref ' not recognized ' .......... support staff can NOT explain the internal process and leave you holding on 3 occasions for loner than 7 minutes ---we fly in 5 weeks and i fear this will have to escalate ...deep down there is a concern that this is NOT INCOMPETENCE but a company facing grave cash flow problems that has led to a purge in the back office staffing such that a spiral may be in process .Chance if an intelligent dependable response to this complaint has to be less than 10% .They have our cash so shame on us !
