Tt780390. Thomas from concern team called me and he promised and guaranteed me that he s gonna call me back in a week time but it's been two weeks and no sign of him. I have been using your chat site to get someone to get Thomas to call me and they say he will call me in 24 hours but nothing. Disgusting and annoying customer service. We won't use you again.

I will never ever book with u again and hope to publish my complaint soon regarding a cash refund though the covid19 Mrs Jill Holland They will not giv me my cash refund

It is unacceptable!To take full amount for holiday that won't !I have sent an email asking for some explanation before taking money!Nothing more than just automatic email:"we will contact you as soon as possible".I'm afraid to imagine how to get the money back!

Teletext are complete thieving scumbags!!!! TT768030 1498.00 pounds owed Refusing to give a refund! Lie to customers!!! Avoid talking to customers in order to avoid paying them their hard earned money! Unlawful company! Unethical company!!! Do not use them, I never will again!!!

suggest you read this. This is how TELETEXT HOLIDAYS WILL TREAT CUSTOMERS. My holiday is cancelled and Ryan have confirmed flights are cancelled. You ask me Not to take legal action. You are breaking the law and I would be very interested to hear your defence in court. You will have to degend the fact that:- You continue to ignore the law. You have closed phone lines. Rude aggresive calls from India. Webchat where responses are automated. Refusal to refund customers whos travel date was as long ago as March! Insisting that customers accept worthless credit notes. Sending said credit notes despite customers advising that they require cash refunds. Continuing to take payments from accounts against holidays that are cancelled. Insisting on final payments against booked holidays in full knowledge that theses holidays will not go ahead. Advising customers that if these payments are not made they will be in breach of contract and as such responsible for 100% of the cost. Teletext have failed to provide a service as per the contract and are failing to adhere to the terms and conditions of that contract. I fear your defence will be weak to say the least. You are duty bound to refund your customers in full as per European and consumer law.

Nightmare company. Complicating information from customer services, told by one staff member we could change the holiday then to be told we couldn’t by a supervisor. So unhelpful when trying to work out what to do with our holiday which won’t be going ahead due to current restrictions but they won’t budge and demanding our balance even though the holiday won’t be goi ahead or we lose our deposit and then be charged a large cancellation fee..Definitely won’t be booking through then again. Avoid at all costs.

This company are in shambles, avoid like you would avoid The plague, was ment to be going to dubai at end of may having paid in full over £2000 oviously holidays cancelled as theres no emirates flights going out from uk to dubai. Still no communication from this joke of a company! Even after I’ve sent various emails trying to get a refund.

Absolute disgrace !!! Liars thieves incompetent!!! And breaking the law !!!!!! Offered a credit note after having my holiday cancelled . I requested my legally binding refund to be told they don't offer refunds despite the holiday being booked as a package covered by atol atab . And also taking advise from Martin Lewis him self !!! I am legally entightled to my refund that has to be paid into my bank within 14 days !!!! Since Friday I had left a review elsewhere with a response to be contacted Andy low and behold nothing not a bean !! Also when I try to respond to these thieving scum bags from the email they sent me ragrding the joke of a credit note they deny contacting me even though I have the email and a voice mail message !!!!!! If we are not contacted this week we will either be taking a small claims court case or section 75 but rest assured I will get my money that I'm entightled to back and until this matter is resolved I will be advising all I know in the same boat to be refusing the credit notes . Teletext could save them selves by doing the right thing sadly for them I think they have dug there own grave ...... which would be shallow .......... nice place for the worms they are !!

I will never use teletext holidays. Keeping hold of customers money no communication telephone lines just go on to a answering machine web chat is useless emails go un answered

Well holiday cancelled on 7th April Well holiday cancelled for the 7th April We Went on live chat on the 2and of April not helpful at all said someone would call to discuss After 5 weeks someone called offered to rebook After we gave the days we wanted in September or if not would like a refund The lady said can she call back in an hour guess what no phone call and still waiting Now we I just want a refund Not happy with the service or lack of Never booking with teletext again or would I recommend them after this POOR COSTUMER SERVICE Update lol joke been offered Vouchers witch are don't expire until 31 December so basically can't claim until after that what a joke so that will be exactly a year from the day we paid for holiday joke Caa next port of call or will be taken Legal proceedings

Paid deposit £600 at the beginning of January , I emailed to ask if I can move holiday over to next year , I booked for August this year , as final payment is not due until June but flight are paid from the £600 already paid ask for flights to be moved , as told hotel is non refundable, am reluctant to make final payment £1300 , the card I booked with has since expired they don't have new details so , what can I do now. Any advice would be grateful.

TT754570 European law states that anyone who has had a flight from a European airport cancelled due to Covid-19 can apply for a refund for the full cost of the ticket which should be paid within 7 days of their application. Unless, of course, you booked through Teletext. In this situation the law appears to differ. Teletext will collect the refund on your behalf. You will then be required to send numerous emails. Take part in pointless webchats. Recieve aggressive calls from representatives of Teletext. After all of this Teletext will still keep your refund.

We are 11 girls due to fly to Ibiza on the 20/5/20 I contacted the hotel a few weeks ago and was told they had no plans to open in May/June: They also told me Truly Travel do not pay them till the end of the season. teletext still insisted our holiday was not cancelled. Then Ryan air cancelled our flights. I wrote to teletext holidays straight away to request a refund! No reply. Yesterday they email saying as your holiday is cancelled we will issue a voucher!! We can’t claim our money back till after 31st August!! I understand that they need to get the Money back from Ryan Air but as they haven’t paid our hotel yet they should at least refund that in the legal time frame. They don’t reply to call/ emails!! Terrible customer service and they need to remember that people will remember how they have treated customers. Amongst our group are NHS staff and Police officers. We all worked hard to pay for our holiday which was paid up in advance of the pandemic!! Please give us our £6000 back!

Trip booked for April, asked for a refund and offered refund credit note! Having to wait till 31st July to contact them and ask again for my refund.

My holiday was cancelled, spoke to Jet2 who said flights have been refunded...this was my money which I paid to teletext holidays to pay flights, I'm now told I have to wait until 31st July before I can claim for refund. I do not want a voucher for another holiday as there will be no holidays for the foreseeable future....this company are a joke do not use them...

Avoid. Teletext Holidays is another example of one of a "stack them high, sell them cheap" - a company that is quite happy to take your money and when everything goes according to plan they get positive reviews. However, the real judge of a company is when something goes wrong. No one could have predicted COVID-19 (outside of a few scientists in China perhaps). However, once destination countries close their borders and flight operators ground their planes, it's quite easy to predict a holiday isn't going ahead. In Teletext's own T&Cs, there is a clause that reads: '...you have the right to cancel your confirmed Multi-Contract Package before departure without paying a cancellation charge in the event of “unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances”' My wife and I communicated over and over with the company that our trip could not go ahead. Yet still the company insisted it was "unaffected", and that they were only dealing with cases on a 14-day rolling basis. They took our final balance payment of £950 (against our will) and refused to refund it. It was only after we contacted their compliance department with proof we'd asked to cancel it that we were refunded out £950. However, the company still has £260 for flights, that they refuse to refund. They state that they are following TTA guidance in issuing refund credit notes (they're not). Refund credit notes are not intended to be replacements for cash refunds, only an alternative if customers wish to take them. Their LiveChat is operated out of India. The quality of English, the attitude, and the disinterest in doing anything but protecting Teletext (or Truly Travel)'s bank account is clear for all to see. When the LiveChat agents run out of things to say back, they just go silent. Their customer support emails repeat the same company line as LiveChat. If the phone lines were open, you would be speaking to some very rude, abrupt Indian call handlers. It is telling customers it cannot refund flights because they have not been refunded by suppliers. This is an abhorrent company. Frankly, they do not deserve to be in business. Please please please do yourselves a favour - do not book with this company, even if they are the cheapest. If everything goes right, you might be fine. But the second anything goes wrong, you are stuffed. Avoid like you would avoid COVID-19 itself.

Absolutely horrendous company, myself and friends are meant to be traveling in less than a week and haven't heard anything from Teletext about our holiday all they want is to keep taking payments when we aren't allowed to leave/ enter the country due to COVID19. We have been on live chats and emails every day and keep getting fobbed off! On ringing the emergency line we are hung up on saying keep the line free for travellers travelling soon, then hung up on. The only information we have received is from Jet 2 informing us that our flights are cancelled. All we want is to speak to a human to sort this out and receive our money back.. ref number:TT777980 I would like a phone call ASAP as the lead passenger.

Disgusting company constantly told to be patient! Paid in full for our flights and hotel all inclusive on 23/02/20 flight out 22nd April for 10 nights but because of coronavirus airline/teletext cancelled all, have emailed teletext about 20 times and was told by them they couldn’t refund my credit card as they were themselves waiting for airline and hotel to refund themselves! Although they refused to answer my question as to whether they had actually even paid the airline ( although I think they probably did ) but I doubt whether they actually paid the company that teletext got to book the hotel with ( hotel beds.com) they just offer me a credit note to book another holiday at a later date, which I have told them at least 12 times I am not interested in accepting anything other than a full refund to my credit card, they just ignore it, even though I have told them this holiday was to be my final one as I am 74 years old in 6 weeks time and the final holiday for my wife also. Most people are experiencing financial problems with the deathly virus more so with us as pensioners yet teletext have had our money for many months and still are ignoring our plea for a refund, they are the worst company I have ever dealt with they should never have had Atol attached to their company, I have informed them I will take this appalling behaviour to as many routes I can, I tend to think they may well be hoping that some of its customers die so as to not ever refund. I find it difficult to believe also that all the credit card companies are actually allowing teletext to continue to use their payment system. Colin.
