I wonder what these people tell their families when they get home in the evenings and how they are able to sleep peacefully at night knowing fully well of the atrocious scams they are running. Perhaps they get some sadistic pleasure in scamming people because their minds are sick and now they find themselves stuck in this vile venture.

“Here is my story with The First Group. I'm sure it is similar to many stories.
I was on a trip to Dubai with my family in Sep 2017. While walking around, I noticed the many real estate development stands and booths. One of them was The First Group (TFG). They seemed very authentic and arranged a trip for me to see their developments, then took me to their offices and presented the projects. They eventually lured me into investing in one of their projects (Avalon Tower at JVC) with promises that it would be a prime location before Expo 2020, opening in Dec 2019, and the annual ROI would be from 7 to 11%. I invested AED 735K with them plus fees. I finished my payments in 2021 and until today (April 2024), the project has yet to be opened.
I sent multiple emails to customer relations, the CEO, and customer support. All I got back were some promises to open next quarter and excuses for delays. On top of that, they are trying to persuade me to invest more with them - presenting this as a solution. They have negatively affected me and my family. With this money, I could have done something better for my children and their lives.
When I asked them to buy back the property, they refused to refund me. They also refused to help me sell it. I couldn't find anyone to help me sell it, and all the brokers mentioned that it was overpriced.
I took a personal loan for this investment, and this investment was the worst decision I have ever made.
After joining a group of other investors, I found many stories similar to mine. Talking to them confirmed that my experience is not an isolated case.
Please don't trust them. Save your money that you worked hard for.”

“I invested more than AED 750k in Avalon Tower with The First Group. The project has faced repeated delays beyond the promised completion before Expo 2020. The contract is heavily one-sided, and I received it long after my initial deposit.
TFG has blatantly lied about their projects and investors are left high and dry. Most of their investors are overseas visitors to Dubai who are trapped in their projects which are way above market value, delayed for years with miniscule returns even if operational and unable to sell even at below market rates.

Upon reaching the highest management level locally, TFG called us for a meeting to resolve the numerous issues pending for several years.
1st meeting: The appointed person dealing with us portrayed an intent to resolve the multiple long-pending issues. Many points were agreed upon and it all seemed innocent just like sheep.
2nd meeting: The back-tracking started and it was like V.R (virtual reality) - we could almost see the docile sheep losing it's woolen coat.
