Item arrived before christmas as a present , broken, what more can i say, still waiting my refund, this company is the pits, AVOID,AVOID, customer care team, abrupt, rude, no help whatsoever Be warned.

Absolutely worst customer service I have ever dealt with.I would strongly advise not to buy anything online. They sent a faulty product 5 weeks ago I have had one email from them can’t get through the phone line there’s no one senior to speak to. The call handlers have no idea not helpful and cut the phone off when can’t answer query. Just want them to pick up the faulty product and process my refund.

Visited the one near Rochdale after a bus and tram journey my husband has dementia wanted the toilet was told they have nt got one now and you need to go Mac Donald’s wet himself walking across a very busy car park not ever going again

Awful company to buy from. Purchased table mats in 13/12/2022 for Christmas gift, they arrived in terrible condition so not able to give as a gift. But worse is customer service I am still waiting a month on for them to accept a return and a refund, not heard from them since 22/12/2022 chased beginning of this week still nothing. I would avoid.

Ordered 2 light bulbs nothing wrong with the bulbs but excessive packaging of plastic could have put them in a box.

I would not give any stars whatsoever if I could. I received my item of a puppet theatre, and got to the last part of assembly to find that the last piece had the joining piece missing. A plastic button that should have been attached to the last piece of wood. We tried to think of a solution but this was not possible. SO I contacted via the website enclosing photographs yesterday. And today I have tried to contact the customer services via telephone. So far I have been waiting in the queue for over 2 hours. Diabolical customer services. Why do they not run a return service from their store like the better stores. I had to return something to Matalan. No problem. Dropped off at store, refund came the next day. Under no circumstances buy anything on line from this store.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY for online purchases!! I Bought a desk, which I paid extra for next day delivery. Didn't come next day... didn't come the following week either... I've spent a total of 8hrs on hold spread across 4 different attempts over the phone to find out what's going on, but every call was a waste of time. After 4 weeks of waiting I eventually asked for a refund, of which they obliged and told me it will take 3-5 working days for my refund to reach my account... that was TWO WEEKS AGO and still no refund. After now reading other reviews (which I wish I did beforehand) I can see this is a very common acurance. Range will happily take your money, simply not deliver your items and then make it as hard as possible to speak with them, get information and then eventually make you wait as long as possible for a refund... 2 months of my life wasted on this terrible service!

The quality of the picture frames is very poor, the back panels (hardboard) are very flimsy, and one of them was already broken on arrival and one broke while on the wall. The fixing came free from the hardboard and the picture fell from the wall, smashed the double plug socket that was lower down on the wall and the frame also broke in half. Not only do I have the inconvenience of contacting the range ( I am 61 in the queue as I type), I also have to contact an electrician to replace the damaged electric socket! These frames aren't inexpensive but the are very cheaply made. (30/12/22) Update: Wasted 4 hours on hold to this awful company, 2 hours, 61st in the Queue down to 15th, then cut off, then 2 hours again, 26th down to 8th then cut off again! (07/01/23) Update: After not receiving any contact from the range, even though I have sent an email with pics, messaged them through their site, a twitter comment, and this review, I attempted to call them again. Remarkably I got through within 10 mins or so, but as I found this was because I got through to the wrong department. The person I spoke to asked for my details, said there was no record of my communications, and that if I had a complaint I needed to go through another department. I asked her if she could at least check my order, she did, and said she has found my communications. I asked her which department I need to speak to, however mid-sentence she hung up on me! I am now trying to get through to them again, 13 in the queue, now after 30 minutes, 6th.

Bought 7 baubles in the sale. Price on label was £1.29, sale was 50% off. When this was put through the till I was told they were £1.79 each not £1.29. "Someone should have crossed off the price" so basically they wanted to increase the price by 50p per item before they discounted. Surely this basically unethical. When queried they could not override the sales price but they could override the price on the item and increase it. Very bad practice. W12362905-1M-V Sent me a faulty chair, tried to resolve this issue since the 18th December but had no communication from them , phone que is always 40 plus, I have sent around 15 emails , not had 1 reply, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE WORLD, Aviod the range its now worth the HASSLE

Just about everything went wrong with the order and the service i have received from the range so far. The initial order was delayed at the warehouse and nobody had any idea how long the order will take and the customer services agent was not helpful at all. Once the order arrived, it arrived smashed up and of course was broken inside the box. We have sent it back instantly with the currier, but the range are now refusing to refund us until they receive it and even though I have shared proof that i have returned it with the currier and the proof of the fact that product arrived damaged. It is impossible to get hold of anybody and even when you do, they are not helpful at all and don't even take a second to understand the issue. I will never be ordering rom them again and urge anybody to avoid this company.

Ordered telescopic hanging rail. Confirmation delivery would be before 9th November. Was not received so contacted customer service. They said someone would contact me in 4 to 5 days. Needless to say no one did. In the end wrote a proper letter, not email, to head office in Plymouth. Again NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER. Went into Paignton store. They said I need to contact the courier ITDGlobal. This I did they say The RANGE are not one of their customers probably a partner company and I need to go back to the range to get a refund and any compensation. I have all the paperwork and my next step will be The Manager and if no joy, then small claims court. I'm fed up with being pushed from pillar to post with no one taking responsibility.

Went to Alphington Exeter store yesterday and purchased 3 x packs choc coins,butterkist and weed killer. Waited 10 mins in queue to pay and the cashier laid the weedkiller on its side and it was leaking. She pressed the bell for a member of staff who came over and wiped the coins and butterkist said they may smell funny but will be ok !! I do not wish to eat the butterkist or give my Grandsons the choc coins. He wiped the weedkiller and said ok? I said as quite a lot had leaked i wanted a replacement. After waiting 15 minutes he returned with i presume another one and said sarcastically ok ? I said i wasnt happy and he walked away. I have never had such treatnent before and often visit the store.Not happy at all.

Gaslighting! Staff refused to refund a useless product that we’d bought 2 weeks prior. 3 unapologetic and unsympathetic all white staff including the manager ganged up on us (2 non-caucasian women) and subjected us to a humiliating ordeal in store, dismantling the product part by part to try and prove that we were at fault, and the product was absolutely fine! Staff kept twisting the words we had said and when we asked them to stop, they just kept on going, agreeing with each other while other staff just looked on! Cannot believe this behavior can happen in 2023! I never write reviews, but sharing this toxic experience so others can know what sort of business this is.

I tried to return a faulty tornado lava type lamp today, that had stopped working after a couple of days. Took it back to The Range with my receipt and they called the lighting department. A very young woman came and took my lamp and shook it and banged it with her hand hard,several times and the tornado started turning again. She said that the cog had dislodged and that it was fixed now. I said that it was faulty and if it did that again, it could overheat the motor and could be a fire hazard, ,both assistants said that she'd repaired it and that I would have to keep it ! I insisted on speaking to the manager, and he agreed that it was now repaired and that I would have to keep it. I argued that it was dangerous and after a long time, he finally said that he would refund me as a good will gesture! Absolutely shocking and extremely dangerous to insist that it was now safe and repaired.

What went wrong..... Ordered and paid for a dining table and chairs 28 Nov 2022. Plenty of time to be delivered for Christmas. The delivery company was arrowxl chairs wa to be delivered 14 Dec and table 15 Dec. Got the chairs table never came 15 due to no driving hours. Waste of a booked day of work. Was rebooked for the 19 never came. Another day booked of wasted. No one got in touch I rang arrowxl to be told they couldn't find the table. Then on the 22 Dec got a msg which was connected to the original delivery link saying the table was in the depot. No one got InTouch so I rang again and was told we could rebook it no apology. Was rebooked for Jan 3 between 2 and four didn't turn up so rang again was told they was running late. Half five it turned up. We had no dining table for Christmas dinner. Had a lot of stress and disappointment. Will never buy big items from the range again whilst the range use arrowxl. And will be telling everyone I know not to buy big items. I also rang my local range to tell them about the situation and they never did anything. Worst experience of my life....

Trying to get a returns forms to return goods delivered damaged mostly by their bad packing ….. after many attempts to contact them to no avail guess I paid at least £40 for items n spent next £40 on phone calls …., disgusting company that needs to be banned from trading …..

This review is actually for the Iceland cafe in the range canterbury, Kent. Appalling service, never more than one staff member, on two occasions we have been totally ignored as the staff member was doing the meals and not available to do anything else!

If I could mark zero I would, so poor has the Range’s performance been over this issue. I ordered a bed on line and delivery was arranged to my home. 1st attempt, the delivery should have contained three packages, only two were on the van, so the delivery was aborted. 2nd attempt, a date and time were given, I booked a day off work, but the van and the goods were both lost in transit. 3rd attempt, three packages were delivered and unpacked. However no fittings or instructions were included. I contacted Range Customer Service. The Adviser told me to source the fittings myself and construct the bed. I asked to speak to his manager if he could not offer anything more constructive and he hung up on me. I then contacted the Stoke store, spoke to one of their staff who was more sympathetic, said he would try to find the appropriate fittings and instructions. 48 hours later I have still heard nothing. I have a bed in pieces and a nine year old sleeping on the floor. I’m not impressed with the Range and their customer service is appalling.
