Very happy with my two sofas, but what you are not told in-store when buying is that they are delivered in boxes and you have to assemble them yourself,Not an easy job for two 80 yr old pensioners,Think the staff that are in the furniture department should make people aware of this

This company has completely wrong customer priorities. If you buy furniture from the shop you pay £35 delivery and get it delivered in two weeks, but if you buy online you get it delivered in half the time and only pay £ 9:99 delivery. Good luck trying to talk to customer services on the phone...

Do not purchase furniture from the Range. The only reason I gave 1 star is there wasn't a zero option! Wardrobe, chest of drawers delivered last week, both items damaged (but not by the delivery people as the damage was inside the boxes). I have phoned customer care 3 times and sent pictures of the damaged items but nobody is returning calls or responding like they have promised. The items cannot be assembled without these parts and the parts of the wardrobe are now on the floor in our lounge!! A very unhappy customer!!!

The Range, castle retail park. Shocking service and worst of all no proper apology and no intention of redeeming the situation. To cut a Very Long Story short....I bought a summer house but 3 different companies were involved! Never again. I complained (twice) with a 7 page letter and they didn't even have the decency to send a small gift voucher by way of apology. Whole thing was an absolute nightmare!

Awful company, ordered a wardrobe on line, when it was delivered it was damaged, so naturally I refused the item. 6 weeks on I am still chasing a refund. Apparently the call centre managers are not customer facing (?) Customer service are unhelpful and read from a script and not interested in helping, but I guess that it what you get when you pay minimum wage. Be warned!!!

I picked up a cushion from the shelf at The Range Redditch in Worcestershire but noticed it had stitching coming undone I spoke to a girl on Customer 'Care' who said it was reduced by 70p WOW She said there's a label inside if you look well sill me why didn't I think to unzip it and look (She spoke as if I was incapable of comprehending her) I told her that I wasn't sure on the colour for my new scheme She grumpily took my money I felt a bit mean disturbing her from chatting to other members on the Customer ' Care' desk. Getting it home the colour was a no no Back I went to The Range to where in no uncertain terms was told it was a sale item and I would not be refunded I asked where does it say that She pointed out one sign that was two thirds covered She at no point had told me no refunds at the transaction Why would I buy an item to check the colour knowing I would not be refunded? The store Manager Matt (who I had encountered once before was as rude as her) backed her equally snappy I walked to Sale Section where no signs were displayed to this effect I did notice one at the till above head height and behind where you would be preparing your item for sale getting your card out etc Most people's mind are on paying and going The cashier definately did not say a word in fact no~one ever has told me this policy The Range must go out of its way to find rude and disrespectful characters to staff their shops if reading the feedback is anything to go by There is one member a northern lady who is really helpful and cheerful and that's it she's always working hard If the manager is rude to customers we stand no chance Yes I did buy a faulty item purely for the colour but at no time was I told I could not return it I would not of bought it if I had of been in receipt of that information It doesn't make sense I don't throw money away I was looking forward to the Range coming to our town but now I won't go in there again and neither will family and friends it's word of mouth that seal the fate of whether a store is good or bad Perhaps if customers stay away it will hit them in the pocket The manner on both occasions where the manager has been demeaning was disrespectful and not invited I'm 66 lady not 6 year old child I will not be returning to The Range If there was no stars option in your questions I would of given no stars at all

Worst customer service in the UK If I could give the Range’s customer service from the store to its alleged customer service centre a minus 10 score I would. Until a recent terrible incident at the Enfield store at the hands of a very rude and ignorant cashier called ‘Katie Kopciewska’ I had shopped happily over the years at the Range for several years and have spent thousands of pounds there as the company I work for buys a lot of stationary/cleaning products/decorations . Following my horrible encounter with a cashier called ‘Katie Kopciewska’ at the Enfield range store and after having the misfortune to experience how useless and terrible the managers are- called Paul and Errol -up to my even complaining to the so-called customer –services department of the range with a lady called Claire I have never encountered such disgraceful unhelpful and disrespectful customer service in the entire UK. From angry and rude cashiers who do not want to serve you and try to close the till whilst you have been queuing and then complain to you that they shouldn’t serve you as they want to go on lunch break and make you feel like they are doing you a favour by doing their job and tell the customer they are being rude when told they are being paid to do a job! When you complain to management in the store, the useless and uncaring managers called Errol and Paul that this is the way you’ve been treated, they are totally ineffectiveand have no interest in helping the customer or offering any sincere apology- you’d be lucky if they even bother to come to speak to you. Errol and Paul the managers totally lied that they would look into the matter and let me know the outcome as I was very upset by Katie Kopciewska’s uncalled for nasty behaviour at the till; the staff at the Range have no care or concern or respect for customers so be warned. When you then try to contact the customer contact centre to let them know of the situation and expect some help and professionalism, you get the total opposite- I have never known such abysmal customer service ever, it’s like they are in the dark ages. I would rename the Range’s Customer Services to Customer Shambles as this is really what is - Claire at customer service was condescending and totally helpful in her reply and does not even have the courtesy to address a customer by their surname but rather by their forename, it’s clear Customer Shambles have no training and the whole set up has not an ounce of professionalism or humanity about them. The Range allows its staff to speak to customers to be spoken to rudely and disrespectfully by members of the staff even if captured on CCTV and they do absolutely nothing to speak to those members of staff or assure the customer that they are in any way valued by the company and they do not even offer a apology- the just listen to you and then there’s either silence from them or a condescending reply. Well thank goodness for karma because what goes around comes around; if you allow your staff to mistreat customers so they leave the store crying upset and in tears, then each person who stood by and is responsible for not fixing the situation and hurting a member of the public whose only misfortune was to be served by hostile cashier ‘Katie Kopciewska’ should expect pay back in one way or another- what goes around comes around. I can tell you that the Range staff and customer service do not care about customers at the Range; they do not care about your shopping experience; they do not give a damn about anything other than just taking your money and making money; do not think that if you have a problem with your product or you have bad service at the range they are in any way interested; the reviews on this website and other search engines on the internet clearly show that there is NO customer service in the Range, they do not believe in it. They will not have a long-term future as they will probably go down in a few years like BHS, one reason being because they don’t know what customer services is they don’t know how to treat people or show value to customers; they allow their staff to misbehave and are entirely unprofessional from the beginning to the top- I’ve even tried to contact the CEO to let him know of how his company is being run but again no interest from him, they don’t want to know customers or improve their business model. Avoid the Range - we will be spending our thousands of pounds that we usually spend at the Range every year with another company where there is customer service and have respect for people, if you want to spend your money in a company where the people from the bottom to the top are nothing more than Del boys than that’s up to you, but you have been warned! The only tip I have is if you go to the Range and get rude service, give the person it back- let them know very well who they are/what their position is and what they are there to do- don’t take any rudeness or nonsense from the Range staff because there is no disciplinary procedure in place and the managers and customer service/shambles are totally disinterested.

Pros: I no longer have to work here. Cons: Im going to miss the people that made this place almost bearable. I worked in the warehouse for over 2yrs, I had a great time with the staff I worked with both in and outside the warehouse. However the store as a whole is grossly under staffed and miss managed, from a regional to store level. Because of this, staff are expected to do the work of multiple people while working in testing conditions. Obviously this way of doing things is never going to work, which is why the work builds up both in and outside the warehouse, (walk around the store you will more often than not see what is mentioned here) add a serious pest control issue in to that and the company not stopping deliveries for the issue to be dealt with, which has lead the place in to a bit of a mess. I say a bit. What I mean is, as a staff member you will come in to contact with rat droppings on an almost daily basis, you will smell the musky odder of rat urine in areas around the warehouse all day. It's an absolute guarantee that there is stock sold on the shop floor that has come in to contact with the rats. On the 16.10.19 I witnessed staff from the shop floor take a pallet of food department stock from the yard (where it was kept over night) and work it on to the shop floor, Some staff came back talking about how the rats had eaten some of the stock and some cans where damaged to. The stock they brought back was demics. They did not scrap the whole pallet from the food department. Since I started working there nearly 2.5 yrs ago I have seen staff taking shelves from the yard where they have become slightly rusted and weather beaten but mostly the problem is that the rats have been over them, urine and faces present at times again. They will take these shelves on to the shop floor after only drying them, where they would then place stock on the shelves. I have personally witnessed management setting up a baby stock shelf next to seasonal last year where they placed baby suckers on hooks right under these shelves. On the 19.10.19 I witnessed staff working under extremely dangerous condition while the store was taking in water due to bad rain, While the water was coming in to the store threw holes in the roof, it was hitting lights to the point you could call them flooded, Staff where then told to clean the water up that had pooled on the floor under the lights, The staff had zero PPE on. The curcumstances around this are a stand out issue for me and the reason I ended my employment with the store. There was no risk assessment done to find out if there was any hazards which could effect the staff, I think having them clean up flood water under a light thats lashing with water while it has a live current going threw it would be considered a hazard. The shop was closed to the public for the morning but not staff, the on sight manager (who openly stated that she had zero health and safety trying for this type of thing) called the area manager Mark Steven who she said has ordered staff to go get mops and clean up. The above paragraph illustrates the lack of due care and attention buy the management on a local and area level, The act of not doing a risk assessment is a breach of H&S and put myself the staff that were on sight and the manager at risk of death or serious injury. I can't stress enough that you avoid this place unless you are forced to work here by the job centre, You have no value beyond getting the doors open and stock out, your mental and physical well being has no value to this company or the people who run it. Omg , terrible service from this place . Bought a bed for my daughter, had it delivered to her address . She came home from work in the dark , to find four huge box’s on the drive , it had rained all day , they were soaked . She had to carry them into house on her own . An estimated time of three days had been given when ordered and that was it . No text , phone call , email . After waiting at least 15 mins on the phone , was told it was delivery company’s fault , but didn’t know who they were , as they have loads of different ones . Absolutely appalling service , they just couldn’t give a damm!! The Range , you are a disgrace .

Dont ever shop in the limerick branch if you have a child with special needs , my child and I were treated appallingly by the manager of this branch who's lack of empathy and understanding was unbelievable, she was so rude to us a stranger approached us in the shop to check if we were ok as I was so shaken by her approach . I wrote to the complaints department who assured me they would look into the incident , but after a few emails forward and back they have been just as unhelpful and rude. I will never set foot in that store again , and judging by the tone of alot of the other reviews poor customer care seems to be the norm for this company.

Poorly trained staff who are arrogant and happy to swear at other staff members while serving customers on the checkouts, the manager needs to address these issues and start managing his staff, poor company and I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone, go to Wilkos instead

The store is okay but the security guard is a disgrace, me and my partner visited the store today (7/10/2019) like we do most weeks and we walked in the store with shopping from other shops and we went to get what we wanted, I noticed a man watching us but I didn't really think anything of it and we went and paid. While I was paying I noticed the same man walk past us still looking at us and he walked outside and stood outside the doors, after paying we left the store and walked past the same man we walked through the carpark and headed up Thornton Rd, I then looked back and could see the same man running full speed towards us and at this point I got a bit nervous wondering who he was and when he got close to me he violently grabbed me and snatched 2 items from me which I had just purchased from another store and he stated that I had stole them from the Range (even though they don't sell this product) when I told him this and said I had a receipt he said I was a liar and he had just watched me steal them, I decided to go back to the store to complain to the manager after showing the manager my receipts the man then tried saying I had stolen another item, the exact item he had just watched me buy and when I showed the receipt for this item he realised he had made a big mistake and not once did he apologise for the inconvenience, this man should not be working as a security guard he clearly has issues and clearly doesn't know how to do his job, he didn't even tell us he was a security guard he just ran up behind me and jumped on me and now I will be putting a complaint in to head office

Waited for 3cweeks for my delivery as you wouldn't give it to my neighbour as I was rushed into hospital at last minute. It was delivered smashed and still waiting for pick up and a refund. Now been blocked from message as that was the only contact I had to get it picked up. The whole experience has cost me my time calling and txt for now 6 weeks. What an unprofessional approach to your paying customer.
