Delivery excellent. Packaging not very secure came open when moved into the house. Site says delivery to the room of your choice- delivery team didn't ask just left it at the front door for a woman on her own to move when it was a heavy item. Put table together 6 out of 14 double ended cam shafts and cams didn't tighten. Gaps in legs where wouldnt tighten and legs wobbly when finished. Not a satisfied customer. Low price shouldn't mean poor quality.

Like others, totally awful service. Brought a wardrobe online and given delivery date+time by XDP. On the day txt messaging saying what time. They no showed all day ! Turned up the next day, no apology or reason. Wanted to return the wardrobe as it wasn't fit for purpose, contact TheRange over the phone who said they would arrange it. Once again I agreed day with XDP. Day before XDP emailed saying they would contact on the day with a time slot. Guess what, no contact at all from XDP. Rang TheRange who fobbed me saying it was XDP who was handling it and would look into it. Two weeks later and still nothing.....I get the occasional email from TheRange (every 4-5days really!) saying they will look into it. So I have a wardrobe I don't want and no refund until it goes back. Woeful customer service from TheRange, you ring them and they can't help other than flag your order. 4 days to reply to emails in 2022...what a joke. As for XDP never, ever trust them to do anything.

Ordered a free standing wardrobe from The Range with delivery within 2 weeks, received an email saying it has been delayed then nothing else, I had to contact customer services who take about 5 days to return communication, then agreed a delivery date, then another email saying it had been damaged, then again no communication from The Range. I have been waiting 2 months for my wardrobe and still no confirmed delivery date. Shocking customer service - will not be purchasing from The Range again. Have asked for a refund which apparently takes 5 working days to come back to me!!

Absolute rubbish customer service if you can actually get through! I bought a large free standing mirror from Bury The rock branch, it unfortunately was damaged when it was unpacked, i visited the store and explained the problem although the store staff were very helpfull they could only advise me I had to return the item back into store for a refund or exchange, I explained I couldn't physically return it to store as I don't drive and didn't have access to a van and in spite of being over seventy I was told to ring customer service, I tried over a couple of days and just couldn't get through, I sent a detailed email explaining the situation and they didn't even have the courtesy to comment on any of the points I'd raised. I really wish I'd have read the reviews before I purchased the item and will not be shopping at the Range again.

Really disappointed with this company! Gave them £1500 of our money over a month ago for the New Hampshire Fire Pit Sofa set and we are now 3 delivery dates down and still without the full set! How difficult can it be to deliver the actual product the customer pays for??

Bought a heater after 2 months it 1 bar stopped working, then it nearly set on fire burning all the plugs. They refuse to replace it as " i wasn't using it correctly" Like, what the ? Avoid this budget cheap store

£250 online purchase. Arrived damaged have spent over a week trying to get through to customer services by phone.no reply to my email. Can't use the item and at the moment can't return it .I'm not prepared to be out if pccket with this so will be taking it further .never ever again will I buy online from this company. Happy to take your money but a different story when you want it back .thieves

Please be aware if you are buying from the range online that if your large item happens to arrive damaged that they refuse to collect it untill you have proved the damage by either video or photographic evidence first via email. 1 month from delivery and still no further forward, I live on my own and had to get help to get the damaged heavy item reboxed, now I'm going to have to unbox it all again for their photos. Never again will I shop with them. Customer communication is also shocking, they take a week to reply to you.

Wish I had read these reviews before ordering on line. The item I ordered was only small but faulty. trying to return it for a refund is a nightmare. back and forward by email, each time going to the back of the queue. At the moment only being offered a replacement,I want a refund do they not understand that!!!

Was appalled the Range in Bury St Edmunds allows young female staff as young as 16 work unsupervised with the Operations Manager, Chris Wilkinson who is a convicted sex offender who was jailed for 5 years for having underage sex with a pupil at Stradbroke High School in north Suffolk, in which he was a maths teacher at. Suffolk: Teacher jailed five years for having sex with 14-year-old girl | East Anglian Daily Times (eadt.co.uk) Management in the Range tell staff not to disclose to new staff, even Head Office HR claim to not have known when he was employed. No safeguarding measures to protect young females.

I bought a fire online on the 28th of February which turned out to be faulty. Even though my credit card shows the money was paid to the Range, not until I had bought the item was I told it couldn't be returned to the shop but I would have to contact their partner and it isn't clear who that is. It arrived two days later and was faulty and I emailed the company I was advised was the partner but no response, and the Range it took a week for them to agree I should have a refund from their partners who would contact me. Two weeks later no contact from their partner, no refund, and the fire is waiting in my hall to be picked up. Had I have known prior to buying the fire that there was a third party involved I would have never purchased the fire. This information wasn't made clear until after purchase. I am a 70-year-old woman with chronic health issues and the Range knows I need a working fire and still they can give me no idea when I will receive the refund and the fire will be picked up. I now have to wait until 25th March to report a credit card dispute will never buy from this company again.

I ordered a sideboard, arrived with major faults, lots of chipping, dried glue allover, colour run and transfered and missing predrilled holes. Decided to return , customer service take a week to reply to an email. This is getting on for 3 weeks now and still they wont come to collect it because they are insisting on video/photographic evidence of the damage before they will escalate to their trusted partner. Absolute joke of a company, i envisage a long road to getting my money refunded, especially after reading the reviews on here saying much the same as my own experience. I wish i had read them before i had purchased. The sideboard is heavy and tightly packed and im now going to have to unbox {again} to take photos then rebox up, a right royal pain.I will never buy from range online ever again , terrible company, just doesnt seem to care at all

went in range today got to the the till to pay. not a hello. do you want a bag. was waiting for my receipt. the woman just sat there did nt say a word. not a thankyou. i was brought up to be polite. never have i see this. think they need to be trained how to treat customers. don’t hurt to be polite. very rude that was the swindon range.

NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING ONLINE FROM THE RANGE..Orded a petrol pressure washer for £180.. quick delivery 3 days, opened box and followed instructions..it would not start..on further inspection could see it had electrical tape holding plug cap on then noticed Air filter box was damaged..it looked very like it had been sold and returned then sent to me...THEN THE NIGHTMARE STARTED... rang phone number provided 8 times each time in a queue for average 18 mins then to be fobbed off and getting nowhere..asked for a full refund..umpteen emails back and forth with every stalling tactic for 1 month...THEY WANTED VIDEO PROOF OF ME FILLING WITH FUEL!! AND MORE PHOTOS OF THE DAMAGED PRESSURE WASHER...then offered 20% discount...again asked for full refund...another week passes..then an email saying your full refund has been approved you will receive in 5 to 7 days..dispose of the item as you wish! ...have a nice day!!... no apology no nothing...YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED ..if you don't want to go through what I have been through do yourselves a massive favour and DONT EVER BUY FROM THE RANGE ONLINE.

Hopeless.....Reading the reviews for this outfit I wished i'd not bothered...Ordered a set of tables for £129 and they arrived broken. After a particularly hard faced exchange with customer services i have to wait now for the manufacturer to get back to them before i can get a refund. Looking at all the reviews online, this is going to be a mission, theres a lot of frustrated customers out there out of pocket through no fault of their own and this is still happens regularly despite the bad reviews. Perhaps going into the local store and confronting the manager might put a bit of internal pressure on the business. Staff would soon get fed up with that...now theres a thought......

Absolutely shocking service!!!! Ordered a wardrobe over 6 weeks ago. Waited the two weeks it stated for delivery only for that date to come and go! Now a further 4 weeks have passed. Ive had to contact the customer services nearly every day to chase up what’s happening to be told they have no clue!!! I’ve been informed it’s in stock but the don’t know why it’s not been delivered! ( well as a company it’s there job to know these things!!) I’ve requested numerous times to speak with a manager only to be told it’s not possible for customers to do so!!?? Which I find shocking that as a customer I don’t have the right to speak with one especially when the agents I’m speaking with in regards to my order are rude and unhelpful. The final straw was when a customer service agent then decided to hang up on me while I was requesting information as to what is happening with my order that is now 6 weeks late she decided she was going to cancel my order without any authorisation from myself to do so!!!! I’m appalled by the rudeness of the staff and the lack of knowledge regarding there own products and lack of knowledge as to why things are not being delivered. The company is happy to take your money but you will never get your items. Appalling company Appalling customer service!!!! Will take my money elsewhere now and NEVER shop at the range again. Unfortunately I had to give one star but I wouldn’t have left that they would have minus if I could. DO NOT BUY FROM THE ONLINE RANGE!!!!!!

Would never order from this shop ever again! I'm reluctant to even go into their stores because of how bad they treat people. They took £105 off me for a bike for my little girl, it arrived 2 weeks late and with pieces missing. It took me 4 weeks to arrange a return because either no one answered the phones and when I finally got through, they said they would arrange collection and it never happened. I waited another 2 weeks for collection and another 4 weeks for my refund! If you check reviews for their customer services anywhere online, ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE SAYS THE SAME! AVOID!
