Disappointed but now optimistic! My partner and I have booked a rail tour in early October and are now waiting for our vouchers of where we are staying and places we are covered for. Have contacted tour radar approx 5 +times and still no definite response received . Feeling let down with lack of communication. What was meant to be the most happiest experience is starting to become stressful . Unfortunately your systems and processes need reviewing . Have finally received our vouchers and are now excited and looking forward to a great holiday - my expectations are high so I hope they can deliver! Regards Josephine

I am pleased with the way they handle calls. Reps are polite and gentle. They do not push for sale. Proactively, they offered promo codes for discount. Only thing, I was not made aware on website or over the phone, that once I book, it will be on hold (pending status) for 48 to 72 hours. I was in total impression that once you click "pay now", you are done and you are confirmed for your trip. SO GYS BE CAREFUL , if you are using this portal. (The reason behind this pending status is that they have to communicate with local guys in Turkey and local guys have to book buses, hotels, internal flights, etc., "manually". It is not a seamless process like what we see in North America)

Hello Shabbir, Thank you for your feedback! Our Travel Experts are some of the best in business and we're glad to hear you found the trip for you on tourradar.com! You're absolutely right about some tours being On Request, which means the operator of the tour needs a couple of days to confirm the tour, for exactly the reason you outlined. This is not always the case though. In fact, only when tours are close to departure, or almost fully booked, might you have to wait for confirmation. This status is dictated by the tour operator of the tour, (not tourradar.com) and happens only to 1 in every 20 bookings. All tour departures on tourradar.com which show as Instant Book, will offer instant confirmation, regardless of where you're travelling to, or where you are located. Even the tour you've booked has other, instantly bookable departure dates :) The most important thing though, is you're booked and confirmed to go on the trip of a lifetime to Turkey and we have no doubt it'll be a wonderful trip! Overall this was a good tour, Liam was an excellent guide, knowledgable and patient. Disputes this mixed group , which could have been a challenge he remained respectful and kind. Our main grievance is that.our enquiry re luggage made prior to travelling was incorrect.we were given Waverley Road as Left Luggage facility in Dublin At a cost of 20 euros each we left our suitcases at a Dublin facility.(non of our fellow passengers had this expense On boarding the Minibus we discovered that all other travellers had suitcases and a number Of people with suitcase that must have weighed at least 30kilos We feel that Tourradar should compensate us for this unnecessary expense.

I start to open b&b at country side in Japan. It could have cooking,tour and agriculture. I could find tour that I serched through this site.it was very convenient.I'm look forward to joinning.

Very easy to book the tour to India online - Rajasthan Experience. The website was easy to manoever through to get all pertinent information about the tour. Live advice by telephone was very helpful.

The tour of highlands and the Jacobite train was fabulous. The tour was well planned and the tour guide Jemma was so sweet and helpful and had very good stories too. The only problem we faced was that the breakfast at one accommodation was not served on time and totally mismanaged and as a result our start of the day was so rushed up and stressful. Not eating breakfast properly on the long journey made me feel quite sick. So it should be looked into, if the team had planned to leave at 8.15 am then you cannot serve us breakfast at 8.10 am and ask us to just rush and gobble up the food. Another big problem i faced was while booking the tour. The tour took 2 days to book after my payment was deducted and therefore it left me very little time to book the accommodation and travel plans etc and the response was very very slow from the tour company. So maybe it should be really looked into as it is very difficult for customers to be unsure like this on an a limited time/stay visa. And lastly i really seriously feel that the contact number of the guide on tour should be given to each and everyone in the tour for safety and help as it is a 3 day long tour and it is highly difficult to email the office if we need to directly speak with the tour guide urgently or if you feel sick or are in an emergency. it was very irresponsible to not provide us with numbers or maps of the places we visited. If privacy were an issue, then some official mobile numbers should be given to guides to communicate with us. i fell ill in the tour and nearly fainted in the square and i had no way of connecting with my guide till almost an hour when i mailed the company. It is very strange and some solution should really be made for this. Otherwise the tour, guide and Scotland were simply great. Thank you.
