""Worst travel company. Had a serious accident and asked for help to change my flight. They delayed long enough that I was unable to change my flight. Had to buy a new flight and deal with the lost cash as was just desperate to get to hospital. Avoid like the plague.

Everything. They are the worst travel support service I have ever used. Rude, slow, unhelpful. I complained formally and never received a response back, despite following up twice.

Booked my flights London to Bali and when I couldn't do the online check it, I called the travel up where I spoke to man who didn't answer the phone professionally, (no official greeting, just 'hi') He couldn't understand English very well and when I said I'd had problems checking in online, he said that I had no booking and tried to end the call. I'd paid £450 for a flight leaving the next day. I had to repeatedly ask him to check and he kept saying I was wrong. I got more and more anxious and explained that this was stressful and he was just talking over me, he really didn't care. I had to ask him several times to check my details via my name and reference number. He eventually said I had a different reference code (perhaps you could email customers if this happens??) and was really impatient with me. He put me on hold for 10minutes and kept just telling me to go to the airport as there was nothing he could do. I eventually got the code off him (which he hadn't prounciated clearly) and I finally got on to online check in. This is a long distance flight and I was very upset to have this rubbish level of service, the customer service is awful and id reccomend people don't use this company if they want stress free journey.

I booked 3 flights to Dubai with TravelUp, I paid £1014 for 3 flights (£338 each) this was a business trip; within 24 hours of booking my client emailed me to ask for our visit to be 2 weeks later, I agreed and expected a small fee with TravelUp to change; the Fee to change was £714, yes 70.4% of what I had already paid to fly; I was contacted by Colin from TravelUp (which is an alias name) and he explained this is the cost, tae it or leave it. This is my first experience with TravelUp, I travel every 8 weeks myself and I would recommend that should you be looking for a flight, GO DIRECT TO THE AIRLINES, The costs to change will be cheaper and probably better customer services, It has to be said that I ended up speaking with a lovely guy by the name of Gary, he was clearly spoken, English accent and very professional, he agreed with me that he would not pay £714 to change the flights but assured me that £150 of the fee was from the airline and the remainder was TravelUp's Administration Fee, Can I just also point out TravelUp offer normal rate phone numbers before you book, but if you have booked you must then only call their 0871 number at 10p per minute, so to me this gives the impression of whooing the customer to get them, but once they have them lets see how much more money we can get out of them. Disappointed with my experience in using TravelUp.

Use expedia ebookers instead! They at least offer you cooling off within 24 hours where you can cancel amend with no extra cost. I made a booking and realised I made a mistake. I contacted them immediately and they charged me 100 plus 20 gbp for the credit card charges. Never again will I ever use travel up.

It feels to me like that are thieving robbing bstards! Booked flights which the airline later cancelled. Travel up refunded what they say was the fare paid to the airline in full but kept £75 per person of the amount I paid them. So no flights, not my fault and £150 out of pocket. Avoid at all costs.

Travel Up should be renamed Travel Rip Off !!! overcharging for flight changes I mean charging an extra £714 for a date change is unbelievable especially when the airline has confirmed their charge is £150 pp but Travel Rip Off charging £275pp for airline changing fee, not to mention the £75.00pp admin fee plus a made up charge of £7.00pp for fair difference when there is no difference, all of this I would say borders fraudulent behaviour. ?? Total cost of £2308.38 for 2 people on flights that are currently advertised for £1300.00 ??? Value for money I think not BOOKING NO: TU898186

Such a bad experience!! Asked for an information and they changed my flight without my consent!And when i asked the reason why they said they could wait for my reply and changed my flights anyway. Very bad customer service, Jimmy is his name and was so rude, saying that didnt care about my job and i had to reply straight away!Very bad! Beware of their english, they misunderstood everything and still wanted to charge me 75pounds for a change i didnt want in the first place. Never again!

My first ever review of anything - however, people need to understand that this lot are an absolute bunch of clowns. Over 10 weeks for a refund (less a £50 'service charge'). They won't answer calls but may email occasionally (in text-speak) if you're lucky. The cheapness of their deals isn't worth the hassle - avoid like the plague.

During booking their system revalidated the flights and added a 12 hour stopover. When i phoned to query this (less than 5 minutes after the email confirmation arrived) they told me it was my fault and i could cancel (£100 per person) or change the flights (£200 per person). I even have the screen shots of the booking up to point of pressing "pay". Shocking.

Waste service I have ever experienced on all booking agents. Would not recommend using them they will rob you blind and not want to talk to you on phone. Dont make a mistake to be fooled by the fake offers they never materialise.

I booked my ticket to USA at 6 pm on the evening. The following day they phoned to say the price had increased by £200 so I cancelled. However they have taken £700 from my account and not refunded it which they promised to do. They are now promising a refund in 48 hours. Unfortunately I don't believe them!! THIS COMPANY IS CROOKED PLEASE DONT BOOK WITH THEM.

Initially my experience of TravelUp was good, including the price. I did have to call them once too to clarify my booking reference and the guy on the other end sounded clueless, which didn't give me much confidence. My issues arose though when one of my connecting flight times changed. I received an email from TraveUp apologising and informing me of this (although annoying I know these things happen!) I was told to reply immediately as I was flying out within the next 24hrs and they needed to issue me a new e-ticket. So, I emailed to confirm and also rang , just to ensure they received it. I was told that I'd receive my new e-ticket within the hour. Did I receive it? No! I called numerous times and emailed constantly up until their offices closed. This made the start of my holiday very stressful. I had no new e-ticket by the time I arrived for my second flight and they initially wouldn't let me or my partner on the flight, it was stressful and embarrassing. Luckily, after around 10minutes of searching databases we were found, but not seated together for a 9 hour flight. All could of been avoided if TravelIp actually did their job and sent me the new e-ticket. I won't be buying from them again, I'd rather pay a little extra knowing that my documents will arrive.

The flight was cancelled and I was meant to get a refund, they refused and said it would take 8 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!! DONT BOOK WITH THESE thieves!!!! they stole my money guys please don't look with this shit

AVOID! Booked online. Travelup took the cash, cancelled the booking, hasn't refunded the money, yet. We are now left without tickets, Travelup has our money, rebooking the tickets one day before departure is now obviously much more expensive. On top of this the agent insulted me, kept interrupting and of course didn't solve my problem.

Tried to cancel flights within 40 mins of booking - £75 per ticket, £150 total to cancel or amend. Bangladesh call centre with staff using pressure tactics, saying they're not open the next day and the fee will go up within the hour. They refuse to let you speak to a manager. Give them your money and they are in control instantly - and they don't care about keeping customers. It's a false economy booking with Travel Up. Avoid.

Extremely annoying customer service very rude and very inefficient. Please do not use this disgusting company, if you need any changes you will pay a huge amount of money and will be a frustrating experience

If I could give minus stars I would. They advertise a price for a flight, you go through booking system, they reject your card , even after checking with my bank all was okay. When you call them they advise the flight cost is now £150 more than they advertised??? Stay well clear of this company , I do believe they are very very dishonest.

Completely shocking customer services. Completely dishonest, call them up and get a different number every time depending on who you speak to and how much knowledge of their terms and conditions you possess. Rude members of staff in the admin team, insults on the phone and was told that I had misinterpreted what had been said in previous calls despite this being in email form and being given the wrong information. They will Withhold information! Then question when you ask for more detail. AVOID / DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. This would be a zero rating if that was possible. Bad – unacceptable experience, unreasonable and rude conduct, withholds information, dishonest. Questions when you ask for a breakdown/more info.
