Hired a car through trip.com (Europcar) from Newcastle airport and dropping at Edinburgh airport a week later. Everything was great until after we dropped the car off. On the email trip.com give you a map where in Edinburgh airport to drop the car off. We dropped the car exactly where it stated. Europcar took the car checked the car/petrol yes everything great...... no everything not great next day £37.50 taken from my bank... why???? I dropped the car at the wrong part of the carpark !!!!!! Even though it was dropped off exactly where the map said and Europcar said yes everything great..... if it was wrong why was that not mentioned at drop off..... totally scammed... never again

Horrible experience with trip.com they are absolutely dodgy, they are playing up with me for over 2 weeks as i had to cancel my flights due to Covid. My other connecting flights and the return flight that I had booked directly with Qantas were refunded within a couple of days and no questions or documentation required but trip.com keeps asking for the proof even proof of purchase that I had made directly on their apps. They blame it on the airline wheras qantas has no issues whatsoever with refund. They are just scams and once they got your money, forget about it. Customer service plays hide and seek and keeps saying they call you back and never do. These people should be reported for fraud.

I used trip.com to reserve a room at Ramada on panama city beach and between the two i can not get my refund for my deposit. Trip says they cant get ahold of hotel for approval. Hotel says i have to go through trip.com

Paid for exit row seats on long haul and internal flights. Both flights didn't get the exit row for me and 2 companions. Airline not able to help due to full flights. Online support gives me no option to request refund or to get proper assistance. For time and last time ever using trip.com. disgusted by being ripped off. And I'm sure it happens to so many people. I work in IT and used their website and app and still got screwed over. No hope for anyone.

I have been booked my flight ticket from london Stansted to ERBIl IRAQ on 15/6/24 with trip.com and i payed for my luggage 20k but when i arrived the airport and I went to cawenter of Pegasus airlines. They told me that I have to pay for my luggage again because they said doesn't show on sestim, so I payed twice for my luggage , i am asking could you refund my second payment, because its not nice and unfair to do this with your costumer. ?

Bought a flight with connection and it warned me that it had a short amount of time to transfer. Only after booking was I told that although the flight was operated as a collbaoration between 2 airlines, I would have to claim the baggage and check them in again for which there was not enough time. I contacted trip.com to help me change or refund the ticket and they refused and informed me that it was my fault and that this was communicated during the booking. I provided the evidence that it was not the case to which they just told me Im wrong. They then proceeded to call me a 2:30 am just to tell me the same again. Their service is gof awful, don’t use if you can avoid

I paid to be able to make changes to my flight and then was told I can't change it, when the time came. I've never been so upset, disgusted, disappointed and not to mention, due to my circumstances, now in a completely and totally f**ked position, since this has caused so many problems for me. Don't think I've ever had so much hatred for a company in all my life with what they've done to me.

REFUND ON TICKET. I was advised to cancel the booking to get a refund due to the fact that we cannot update details when there is an error or miss spelling, and this was done 10 minutes after the booking as the ticket was not issued yet. Then Trip.com send the confirmation that the ticket was changed and error was corrected, but the cancellation was already done and a new ticket purchased but still I did not receive a refund on the original ticket! One consultant tell you to do one thing and then another one does something different, there is no communication at all! Even the airline had issues to make payment so I wonder if they were even paid by Trip.com....? My argument to them and still nothing has been done about it. But I am sure you have access to this, if you purchase a ticket and cancel it 10 minutes after the purchase you will get the same message which states that you will be credited back into the same card used for the same amount. The ticket was sent an hour after the initial purchase so there was enough time to get the credit done. My request was to correct the passport number (and your message) stated to cancel the ticket immediately as it has not been issued to get full refund processed in order to then purchase a new ticket. At the time of purchasing the new ticket there was no longer fight available as per the original and therefor had to choose another airline which was even more expensive and not the first choice. On this day, there was also a problem with the payment of tickets with the airline directly and I still expect this to be sorted out and refunded. You can go and do the test yourself to see the pop up message saying that the amount will be credited in full when the ticket is not yet processed. This is my proof of payment that I took a screenshot off, where we realised the Passport number was incorrect and then selected cancel booking, here you will see the ticket has not even been issued yet (screenshots attached) Also attached the new ticket that was purchased as proof of purchase due to the flight not being available after CANCELLATION request on your website (which was more expensive but the only option at the time of booking) Trust your assistance on this and that the ticket will be refunded in full.

Stay away from this booking platform! Prices might look more reasonable but if you run in to issues they are a complete nightmare. My sister and I took my mom on a 70th birthday trip. Purchased our seats and baggage ahead of time through trip.com. Went to check in for our flight and the seats and baggage were not showing. Called trip.com kept getting the run around, no clear solution. Was told due to time to repurchase and they would refund. Two weeks later, still no refund. I have received 7 emails saying they are looking in to it. I have spoken to someone multiple times, uploaded receipts only to be told they are looking in to it. Waiting on almost 400 dollars to be reimbursed. I am still confused on what further needs to be looked in to when receipts of the original purchase are uploaded, plus the repurchase which they directed, and now two weeks and no refund as of yet. Again, DO NOT USE this platform. Extremely poor customer service. Not worth the cheaper ticket.

I made a mistake using this site, and want to save you from it too! I’ve used trip.com to book several flights. Always found good prices and liked how it kept all my flight details together, especially when travelling with multiple upcoming flights. This week, I missed the first flight of a round trip ticket I bought and it’s suddenly been brought to my attention that this site will void any future flights in a round trip ticket once a flight is missed. In my case, it meant I couldn’t book a flight to catch my connection and I couldn’t use my return flights. That’s right, the return flight was also voided. This policy is terrible and, in my opinion, is brushed over when purchasing on the site. The site help-agents will tell you that the airline is the only company who can change this policy and allow you to shower… but when you call the airline, they will tell you it’s completely up to the website. Whatever way is correct, i now have no flight home and will not use this site again.

I used their car rental service and ended up paying 50% more at the counter due to the mandatory third party insurance which was indicated included at booking. But they denied the information as I didn’t take a screenshot. This is not a trustworthy website for car rental.

I’m just going to do a real quick review. I want to make everybody out there aware of a travel service called Mytrip. Just to let you know be very careful with them. They do deceive you in many ways and they will take half of what you pay for your airline as “administrative fee” so please beware them. I don’t trust them and I don’t think you should either and I certainly don’t recommend them to anyone!!

They are cheater. I booked a flight for 2person from LAX- MNL 2 way but I missed my flight to MNL for a certain reason. It is my fault yes but they also cancel my return ticket as per the airline policy they said. I wasted my USD2600 and I did not even catch one single flight. Money will comeback to me trip.com but you will loose all your customers.

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint about the unacceptable behavior of one of your customer service representatives. I received a call from a Trip.com phone number, during which the representative, a female manager, was extremely rude and unprofessional. Throughout the entire call, she constantly shouted at me, showing no patience to listen to what I had to say. She outright rejected my opinions and continued to raise her voice, expressing anger and frustration. At one point, she even encouraged me to file a complaint, stating that she was not afraid and that all customers nowadays tend to complain anyway. She made it clear that she had no intention of listening to my explanations, despite my repeated attempts to communicate. This experience has ruined my mood for the upcoming trip, and I am utterly disappointed by the service attitude I received. The representative explicitly told me that current customers are all the same and to go ahead and complain, which she would ignore. Her demeanor and lack of professionalism are not fitting for a managerial position. I am now feeling helpless and deeply hurt by this experience. The issue remains unresolved as she abruptly ended the call without providing any solutions. I believe I deserve compensation for the emotional distress caused by this encounter. I was simply trying to correct an error in my destination, not the travel dates, a straightforward request that should not have resulted in a seven-minute session of threats and hostility. I demand immediate attention to this matter and a satisfactory resolution. Otherwise, I will pursue further complaints through other channels. This is my first and last time encountering such treatment from Trip.com. I expect an appropriate response and resolution to this matter.

I’ve booked a trip Miami to Cartagena, I am trying to change my flight for two weeks and has been impossible to change on the website . So I request a refund and Avianca just confirmed yesterday they did refund trip but trip didn’t refunded me . Is the worst scammer website. So dissatisfied and disappointed frustrated. I want my money back! Even trip chat said they will refund but never happens

I’m really disappointed with their service. They charged me extra on my credit card over the amount of air tickets. They sent receipt with correct amount but after few days I checked my account statement they have over charged my credit card and moreover their customer service response is very bad not cooperative at all. I recommend don’t ever book anything from TRIP.com

On 6 March 2024 I booked through the online travel agency Trip.com (booking number: 30904644822) a direct flight Madrid - Beijing for 23 August 2024 with departure at 13:10h and arrival at 6:00h (local time) and a direct flight Beijing - Madrid for 2 September 2024 with departure at 1:55h and arrival at 8:00h (local time), paying a total amount of 937. 01 (EUR 521.45 per ticket and EUR 415.56 for taxes and fees) by credit card. Both flights were with Air China. Subsequently, on 12 July 2024, I was notified by e-mail that the time of the Madrid - Beijing flight on 23 August had been changed and I was asked to accept the change, which I did not do. The new arrival time would be 6:30 am (local time). This change is a great disadvantage for me, as this delay makes the trip pointless, as the reason was to see a person who, due to the flight delay, I will no longer be able to see as I cannot wait for the new arrival time of my flight. Therefore, I will not go on the trip. According to the Trip.com travel agency's policies, cancellations will be made in accordance with the policies of the airlines operating the flights: "Change and cancellation fees apply in accordance with the policies listed on the airline's website". The policies of the airline operating the flight (Air China) state that if Air China makes changes to the flight (as was the case, because I did not want to change the flight time, but the airline did) that prevent me from taking the trip, I am entitled to a full refund: "If you have to change your travel plan because of Air China, you can apply for a refund and you will get an involuntary refund, free of charge. You can check the policies here: https://www.airchina.com.cn/en/info_and_services/passengers_info.shtml#:~:text=If%20you%20have%20to%20change,accordance%20with%20our%20applicable%20regulations . I have requested cancellation and full refund of the price paid for the tickets, as due to changes by the company I will not be able to travel, and according to the company's policies, I am entitled to a full refund. The request should be made to Trip.com because it is through them that I made the purchase. I have tried to do this in a friendly manner by contacting Trip.com, but my request for cancellation and refund has been denied, telling me that they could refund me a total of 36.16 euros, thus violating my rights as a consumer to a full refund. After several attempts, I am forced to use this channel to assert my rights as a consumer. In view of the situation described above and in view of the fact that I meet the requirements for this as the company has made a change that prevents me from making the trip, I demand the cancellation and full reimbursement of the 937.01 euros for the airline tickets.
