“Trustpilot is supposedly somewhere where you are able to leave genuine reviews negative or positive, as long as they don't "breach their terms". Funny that, I left negative reviews for Mobilephonesdirect, both reviews were of my genuine experience and did not breach any rules, but they removed them. They asked that I provided proof of the order, I sent all the emails and my order confirmation but still they won't reinstate it. DO NOT trust the reviews on Trustpilot, if a company pays them enough they will get rid of the negative ones. Seems that I am not the only one this has happened to.”

“(dont)Trustpilot has suspended my account because of a negative comment for Randox. I got a response from Content Integrity team after over a month. They asked me to provide a proof I dealt with Randox, what I did but the emails were not enough. I had to waste my time searching for confirmation of my orders with Randox. I sent it to them and no response. All my reviews have disapeared and my account is blocked. I dont trust them at all. Obviously many companies generate positive reviews themselves or buy them. You can see it easily as some companies had 2.3 stars after a few days suddenly 1000 more reviews and all positive or negative written in a positive way. Rubbish website, lost its integrity”

“Terrible company and business model. Only allow negative reviews on profiles unless you pay. Many of our clients have left positive reviews and they have been taken down by Trust Pilot. Only fake and Defamatory reviews remain. Trust Pilot have facilitated damage to our organisation. For this reason they will be sued. We have reported this company to trading standards and informed our thousands of clients at Safetech of how this company operates. Our lawyers are in process of preparing the law suit which will be issued to PETER HOLTEN MÜHLMANN shortly.”

“There was a time when I thought Trustpilot was the one review site that made an effort to be reliable but I've given up on them now. Every time I try and send the documentation they require to prove my review is accurate, I'm told the address isn't monitored. I've tried for weeks now to find an easy way to send the documentation but without success. I've tried the Help Centre but you just get told to read articles. There's no-one who can help. I can't believe I've wasted this much time getting nowhere.”

“if i write positive reviews all is fine, but as soon as i write a negative review i suddenly need to prove myself/identity and if not my review will be put on hold until..... waste of time to write on trustpilot.”

“Left HONEST reviews on a company. Both were removed. I verified the reviews and emailed the order confirmation document across, Trustpilot acknowledged the email and confirmed verification & advised that the reviews would be up and running. However both reviews are stilk showing as removed. Yet they are trus accounts of my customer experience, and I have adhered to all Trustpilot guidelines. So how is Trustpilot trustworthy, when they remove reviews for no good reasons?”

“Left 6 honest reviews on your website about kindertons I've had dealings with them since 23rd may 2022 and I have spoken the truth about my experience with them and all of them have been removed.seems strange as I have have told my experiences and I have not broken your guide lines and spoken facts with evidence but my reviews have been removed ?”

“Beware as TrustPilot contacts people who leave genuine negative reviews on certain companies to force them to provide a ridiculous amount of documentation to get them 'verified'. Even when the reviewer jumps through all the hoops to provide the required documentation, TrustPilot verifies the review and then takes the review down anyway a few weeks later. Yet obviously fake good reviews are without question. Sad to say, TrustPilot reviews do not therefore represent a good assessment of an organisation and TrustPilot is not an organisation with a great deal of integrity itself.”

“Trust pilot integrity team harassed me through email. The company did not like the 4 star review that I gave so they flagged it. Trust pilot contacted me and I did not want to go further with the review because it was a waste of my time. After, 5 emails from trust pilot and the last response from me asking them to never contact me again I finally had to report them. Trust pilot has the most unprofessional and disrespectful staff that I have ever had to deal with. I would have left a no star review if that was possible. Terrible experience with Trust Pilot”

“Removed my 100% genuine and very positive review (with specific product and personal detail that might have indicated I was genuine) and then refused to reinstate it without documentary proof, correspondence with the company, etc. They stated that this is what the look for in verifying reviews; but how on earth would they normally get hold of documents relating to a private business transaction, and personal correspondence between the customer and the business? It's not public information! I am appalled. I wrote a favourable review, under my own name, complete with specific detail from personal experience, and am being forced to send them personal documentation to prove I am genuine. I have written reviews in the past without issue (though reading the other reviews here, I fear they too may be removed). I feel I owe to the company I reviewed to fight to have the review put back. It was only up a few days.”

“They removed 3 years of my reviews altogether without any explanation. All of them were genuine reviews, not repetitive and with proof (like order IDs etc). I'm appalled. No customer service to rectify this, no help from them.”

“Dont know where they get their made up info from? My 20 odd reviews over the past year about courier companies and shops who have done well as far as I am concerned I wrote a review lately about world of books who have 5 stars in my book for their fast delivery by stating Brilliant! and that got removed!! Hermes reviews also got constantly removed?? and they removed the latest review from me today (world of books) by stating it was an infringement of their policy What infringement??? is it maybe that as in another comment above that they are paid to remove reviews?? UNTRUSTWORTHY TRUSTPILOT!!!!”

“No customer service, let alone reply, had my profile suspended, system says spam, mails explanation, weeks ago, no reply same when they remove reviews takes months if at all for them to read the proof. My last review I have proof of, was company one I ordered from, company two supplied the goods, company three delivered the goods, all bad so same review for the three companies, why is that spam, they rely on a robot to remove reviews that do not read or reply the details, they say answer within 3 days, they dont answer within 3 months. Getting so fed up with the Trustpilot robot, they clearly don't want real reviews with proof, they just want to remove reviews of companies who pay them. eg energy saving trust dozens of bad reviews over years, suddenly they all vanish leaving just four, why because they are no reg with trustpilot. Cannot trust Trustpilot anymore try to post, all I get is; Oops! You were logged out. Please log in again to post your review. Please wait, your review is being processed then; Thanks for writing a review about Trustpilot. Please wait for it to be published before you write a new review.”

“Absolute joke of a website, seen so many bad companies be rated so well on it. I always skip past trustpilot when i check for reviews of websites now. It seems they probably alter reviews to suit companies who pay them to do so!”

“Tried to leave a negative review on Trustpilot for gsrtpay.com, but despite a huge amount of detail from my first hand experience dealing with gsrtpay and their whole con/scam, Trustpilot kept emailing me over and over asking for documents for proof?? Just crazy. I'm lost for words. Seems they support, or at the very least, don't help stop scams and cons.”
